Malos pensamientos.... Crueldad.... Estado de ánimo....

El rechazo consciente de los malos pensamientos es el medio más seguro para mejorar el estado de ánimo, porque entonces se opone resistencia a aquellas fuerzas que utilizan toda su influencia para alejar a los seres humanos de Dios. Esto requiere probablemente toda la voluntad del ser humano, y si ésta se debilita al ceder, es decir, al entrar en tales pensamientos, el hombre tiene que sufrir, es decir, un estado de ánimo oscuro se apodera de él, que le empuja y le agobia. Y el mal triunfa. Porque su influencia se vuelve cada vez mayor y la voluntad y la resistencia del hombre se vuelven cada vez más débiles.

Tales horas son un cierto peligro para el alma, y nuevamente el hombre tiene que liberarse de ellas. Debe orar, fervientemente y con plena confianza, para que Dios lo libere de esta situación. La voluntad humana también debe formar parte de la oración, pero si el alma lucha por liberarse de esta situación, las fuerzas buenas del más allá la ayudarán si el hombre se dirige a ellas en busca de ayuda, si él mismo anhela liberarse de esta presión.

Pero la mayoría de las vece el ser humano se vuelve apático y no se defiende, y más difícil le resulta liberarse del poder de las tinieblas, y la lucha se vuelve cada vez más insoportable. La fe firme es el mejor remedio, y el hombre puede entregarse a las fuerzas del bien con completa paz del alma si tan sólo afirma su poder y su fuerza. Ciertamente lo ayudan y no permiten que las fuerzas del mal se apoderen de él.

Ceder cuando surgen malos pensamientos es falta de fe, porque los malos pensamientos van dirigidos en contra del mandamiento divino.... Quien cree firmemente cumple cada mandamiento que Dios ha dado a los hombres, pero quien es débil en la fe hará lo mismo sin tener en cuenta los mandamientos divinos, y por eso sus pensamientos se dirigirán en contra de estos mandamientos, estará desprovisto de todo amor, por lo que albergará pensamientos sin amor, y esto es lo que apunta al adversario. Porque así es como pone a la gente bajo su poder.

En tal estado, a menudo resulta difícil encontrar el camino de regreso al camino del amor; Él hombre ha cometido un error cuando alberga pensamientos sin amor, y ahora debe enmendar este error, obligado por el sufrimiento, luchando en oración por la atención del amor divino, que todo pensamiento de amor había rechazado. La voluntad hacia Dios hará que el hombre reconozca su injusticia, y entonces le será fácil orar a Él.... pero la voluntad misma debe volverse activa, no puede ser dirigida, es decir, volver a ser dirigida obligatoriamente hacia Dios....

Bad thoughts.... unkindness.... state of mind....

The conscious rejection of bad thoughts is the surest means to lift the state of mind, for then those forces will be resisted which exert all their influence in order to turn the person away from God. This certainly requires the human being's whole will, and if this is weakened by giving in, i.e. giving in to such thoughts, the human being has to suffer, i.e. a gloomy mood takes hold of him, which presses and burdens him. And evil triumphs, for its influence becomes ever greater, the human being's will and his power of resistance ever weaker. Such hours are a certain danger for the soul, and again man must free himself from them. He must pray, fervently and full of confidence that God wants to free him from this situation. The human being's will is also part of prayer, but if the soul struggles to be released from this situation the good forces of the beyond will help it, providing the human being turns to them for help, providing he himself desires to be free from this pressure. However, the human being usually becomes apathetic and does not defend himself, and the more difficult his liberation from the power of darkness is, the more necessary the struggle becomes and the more unbearable the state of suffering. Firm faith is the best means, and the human being can abandon himself to the good forces in complete peace of mind if only he affirms their power and strength. They will certainly help him and will not tolerate the bad powers gaining the upper hand over him. Giving in when bad thoughts arise is a lack of faith, because bad thoughts are directed against the divine commandment.... Anyone who firmly believes fulfils every commandment God has given to people, but anyone who is weak in faith will also disregard the divine commandments, and thus his thoughts will be directed against these commandments, he will be devoid of all love, thus harbour unloving thoughts, and this is what the adversary aims to achieve. For in this way he gains control of the person. In such a state it is often difficult to find his way back to the path of love; the human being has committed an injustice if he harbours unloving thoughts, and he must now make up for this injustice by struggling in prayer, compelled by suffering, for the attention of divine love, which every unloving thought had repelled. The will towards God will let the human being recognize his wrongdoing and it will then also become easy for him to pray to Him.... but the will itself has to become active, it cannot be judged, i.e. forcibly directed towards God again....
