Libre decisión....

Esta es la voluntad divina, que el hombre decida libremente qué camino tomar.... que se libre de ir en ambos sentidos, hacia arriba o hacia abajo, y que él mismo ahora pueda decidir, sin coerción alguna. Porque sólo lo que tiene valor ante Dios lo que él piensa y hace libremente por su cuenta, a lo que da su consentimiento sin ninguna influencia. Porque en esto se refleja todo su ser. No está obligado a hacer ni lo uno ni lo otro, pero lo que su corazón le impulsa a hacer es crucial para la eternidad. Por lo tanto, ni las condiciones de vida externas, ni la guía divina del destino son determinante para el desarrollo superior del alma humana, sino que sólo su libre albedrío decide esto, y por lo tanto a cada ser humano se le da la misma oportunidad de alcanzar el estado de madurez en la Tierra si usa su libre albedrío correctamente, es decir, si lo usa para acercarse a Dios.

Porque si su voluntad está dirigida hacia Dios, siempre se subordinará a Dios en su pensamiento y sus acciones y hará todo lo que le acerque a la Deidad Eterna, y entonces se garantiza su desarrollo superior. De hecho al hombre se le enseña lo que debe hacer; Su pensamiento será guiado en la dirección correcta, pero le corresponde a él tomar la libre decisión. Siempre será libre de hacer y pensar diferente a la voluntad divina.... porque cumplir con esto en estado forzado no le beneficia, no le trae ningún progreso espiritual y, por lo tanto, sólo se puede evaluar lo que el hombre hace desde su impulso más interior.

Si sólo cumple la tarea que se le ha encomendado según el cumplimiento de deber, entonces sólo tiene el valor de un cumplimiento de un deber que, sin embargo, no puede llevar a un hombre a un grado superior de madurez, por el contrario, el más mínimo acto de caridad en el libre albedrío, es decir, sin ningún incentivo o referencia a una recompensa, mueva al alma a un grado superior de madurez porque el don de la libre decisión se utilizó de una manera que agradaba a Dios. Aparentemente una persona puede realizar grandes obras de caridad, pero si lo hace bajo cierta presión o bajo la influencia de otras personas, aun así no obtendrá una gran recompensa, porque sólo el grado de amor con el que se realizó la acción es determinante, es decir, en qué medida el amor de una persona determina su voluntad de actuar.

Un humano que es capaz de amar también permite que su voluntad se active, porque quien está enamorado también desea ir a Dios desde su impulso más interior, por eso el amor, el libre albedrío y el acercamiento a Dios van siempre de la mano. Donde hay uno, también está el otro, pero el estado compulsivo, no importa de qué lado se ejerza, es siempre un obstáculo para la madurez del alma. Así pues, se puede enseñar la voluntad divina, pero nunca obligar a obedecerla, porque esto no sería ningún progreso espiritual....

Free decision....

It is divine will that the human being should freely decide which path to take.... that he is free to go either way, upwards or downwards, and that he himself now decides without any compulsion. For only this has value before God, what he thinks and does freely out of himself, to which he gives his consent completely uninfluenced. For this reflects his whole being. He is neither forced to do one thing nor the other, but what his heart drives him to do is decisive for eternity. And thus neither external living conditions nor divine destiny determine the human soul's higher development but only his free will decides this, and thus every human being is given the same opportunity to reach the state of maturity on earth if he utilizes his free will correctly, i.e. if he uses it to draw closer to God. For if the will is directed towards God he will also always subordinate himself to God in his thoughts and actions and do everything that brings him closer to the eternal deity, and then his higher development is also guaranteed. Man is indeed taught what he should do; his thinking is guided in the right direction, but the free decision is up to him. He will also always be free to do and think differently than is divine will.... because complying with this in a state of compulsion will not bring him any spiritual progress and therefore only that which a person does out of his innermost drive is to be valued. If he only fulfils the task prescribed to him purely dutifully, then it also only has the value of a fulfilment of duty which, however, cannot earn the person a higher degree of maturity, whereas the slightest act of neighbourly love in free will, i.e. without incentive or reference to a reward, will place the soul in a higher degree of maturity because the gift of free decision was used in a God-pleasing way. A person can apparently carry out great works of neighbourly love but if he does so under a certain amount of compulsion or under the influence of other people, he will nevertheless not reap a great reward, for only the degree of love in which the deed was accomplished is decisive, i.e. to what extent a person's love determines his will to act. A person capable of love also allows his will to become active, for he who is in love also desires God out of his innermost drive, thus love, free will and approaching God always go hand in hand. Where there is one, there is also the other, but the state of compulsion, no matter from which side it is exercised, is always an obstacle to the maturity of the soul. Thus, divine will may be taught, but it may never be forced to be obeyed by coercive measures, for this would not be any kind of spiritual progress....
