Corrientes de pensamientos..... Condiciones para la fácil absorción de bienes espirituales.....

Para percibir las corrientes de pensamiento con claridad y distinción, el espíritu debe dominar por completo al hombre externo, debe haber tenido lugar la separación de la tierra y debe haber tenido lugar la unificación con el más allá, sólo entonces el pensamiento del hombre podrá moverse en esferas espirituales, y la voz del mundo espiritual sonará claramente audible en el corazón del ser humano. Sin embargo, mientras el cuerpo esté cautivo por grilletes terrenales y así evite que el alma se escape del cuerpo a regiones espirituales, el espíritu tampoco puede volverse activo en el hombre.

Por lo tanto, hay que luchar durante mucho tiempo para alcanzar este estado de deapego..... Para lograr que el cuerpo se vuelva suave y tolerante y permita al alma cada vuelo hacia arriba. Y esa es la primera condición para poder recibir bienes espirituales con facilidad y sin esfuerzo, para que el espíritu no se sienta impedido por nada. Ciertamente se necesita mucha autoconquista, pero la recompensa es igualmente estimulante. Y todas las posibilidades quedan inutilizadas si no se preocupa primero por el desarrollo del espíritu divino en el hombre. Todas aquellas personas que no hacen nada por la liberación final del alma permanecen en perpetuo amordazamiento del espíritu.....

El alma todavía se encuentra en las ataduras y, por lo tanto, no puede captar lo espiritual lo suficientemente profundo, y se necesita toda tu voluntad para que la recepción de arriba sea deseada y, por lo tanto, puede corresponder a tu voluntad, pero el alma se hará mucho más libre, donde el amor por el divino Salvador se enciende en el corazón, porque allí el espíritu obviamente se esfuerza por unificarse con la Deidad eterna. Sin embargo, donde el escritor o el destinario es apoderado de una cierta indolencia espiritual, también le será difícil establecer una conexión y debe lograrse laboriosamente, por así decirlo, a través de la perseverancia y de lo contrario nunca puede llevar a la meta, que debería ser el esfuerzo supremos de todas las personas. Y el espíritu, por supuesto, estará en una situación desesperada porque se le impide ejercer y obrar como es su destino.....

Thus, the first condition in order to be able to accept spiritual knowledge easily and without effort is that the spirit must not feel impeded by anything. It certainly requires considerable self-denial in order to accomplish, yet the pleasure of the reward will be accordingly great. All opportunities will remain unused if the expansion of the divine spirit in the human being is not taken care of first. People's spirit will forever remain gagged if they take no action to liberate their soul for good.... As yet the soul is still constrained and therefore cannot grasp the spiritual deeply enough, thus it requires all your will to desire receipt from above so that your will can be complied with; nevertheless, the soul can liberate itself much sooner where love for the divine Redeemer flares up in a heart, for that is where the spirit clearly strives for unity with the eternal Deity. But where the writer or recipient is seized by a certain spiritual lethargy it will be difficult for him to establish contact and it must, in a manner of speaking, be laboriously achieved through perseverance, otherwise it can never lead to the goal which, however, should be all people's ultimate striving. And the spirit will understandably be in serious difficulties, for it will be prevented from reigning and taking effect according to its purpose....
