Conocimiento de uno mismo.... Amor....
En esta vida como en aquella, sólo una cosa tiene un valor duradero, que el alma se reconoce a sí misma; sólo entonces es posible que ella tome el camino hacia arriba. El progreso sin este conocimiento es completamente imposible, porque en la oscuridad espiritual cada acción, ya sea aquí o en el más allá, sólo tendrá un efecto material.... es decir, siempre estará basada en intereses materiales, y tales nunca pueden promover la salvación del alma. Por lo tanto, de poco vale si el ser humano también comete buenas acciones en la tierra solo por la misma razón. Tales obras no son reconocidas por Dios, porque su efecto es bajo.... Lo que no se hace por amor tampoco agrada a Dios.... Es solo un tributo al mundo....
El hombre, espiritualmente vivo, tendrá que reconocer que la tierra con todo lo que existe en ella es siempre sólo un medio para un fin.... Que los bienes de la tierra nunca deben ser codiciados, sino que todo lo que hay en el mundo sólo debe servir para ser reconocido como terrenal, evitado o aprovechado para poder realizar obras de amor a través de tales.... El señor os da tantos recursos que os pueden llevar a vuestra meta eterna.... pero estos los utilizáis para vosotros mismos, los disfrutáis y los anheláis.... y así estos medios se convierten para vosotros en obras del diablo, a través de los cuales trata de atraeros a sus trampas....
Pero si reconoceréis la inutilidad de todo lo terrenal y os reconocéis a vosotros mismos, entonces saldréis victoriosos de tales tentaciones. Renunciar a todo lo que poseéis para ayudar a vuestro prójimo lleva dentro de sí la mayor bendición. Cuando el conocimiento espiritual del ser humano haya madurado tanto que ahora pueda empezar a trabajar en su alma, entonces él también proseguirá su esfuerzo lleno de celo, y el pensamiento siempre será su estrella guía, que se acerca al salvador a través de su esfuerzo, que de todo lo que da voluntariamente en la tierra será recompensado un día a través de la cercanía del Señor.
Cuanto menos consciente sea el impulso al Señor, cuanto más llena el corazón de profundo amor, más pronto se cumplirá este anhelo del corazón, y más Su cercanía hará feliz al hijo terrenal, porque todo, todo está enraizado en el amor.... quien tiene este ya es feliz aquí en la tierra y un día será más feliz aún en la cercanía del Señor....donde todo es solo puro amor. Sólo cuando el amor llene completamente vuestro corazón, todos vuestros pensamientos y acciones en la tierra serán de tal manera que corresponderán a la eterna voluntad divina.... Por tanto, cultivad el amor y se os dará una medida en la eternidad, que seréis benditos en la presencia del Señor....

But you use them for yourselves, you delight in them and lust after them.... and so these means become works of the devil for you, through which he tries to draw you into his snares.... But if you recognize the worthlessness of all earthly things and recognize yourselves, then you will be victorious over such temptations. Giving up everything you possess in order to help your neighbour is the greatest blessing. If a person's spiritual realization has matured to such an extent that he can now start working on his soul, then he will also pursue his endeavour with great zeal, and the thought will always be his guiding star that he will come close to the saviour through his endeavour, that everything he voluntarily gives on earth will one day be rewarded by the saviour's closeness. The more unconscious the urge towards the saviour is, the more it fills the heart out of deep love, the sooner this longing of the heart will be fulfilled and the more His nearness will make the earthly child happy, for everything, everything is rooted in love.... whoever has this is already blessed here on earth and will one day be blissfully happy in the lord's nearnes.... where everything is pure love. Only when love completely fills your heart will all your thoughts and actions on earth be such that they correspond to the meaning of the eternal deity.... Therefore cultivate love, and a measure will be given to you in eternity that you are blissfully happy in the nearness of the lord....
