Exression of the spirit only possible through the working of love....

Every spiritual thought is an expression of the spirit within you, otherwise all your thinking would only be earthly directed. But the spiritual spark in you constantly seeks the bond with the father-spirit, and it will always try to influence you by mentally affecting you. But its influence will only ever affect the spiritual kingdom, thus it will likewise turn your thinking towards this kingdom if it finds no resistance in your will. For the latter can also fully turn to the world, then it will reject every spiritual thought, and the spirit cannot express itself to the human being.... And very clear boundaries can be drawn: The more the human being thinks of himself, that is, is concerned about his own well-being, the more purely earthly thoughts will fill him and the spirit will be denied its activity. But if the human being thinks of his neighbour who needs his help, then the spirit will penetrate and be able to convey such thoughts to the human being which flow out of the spiritual kingdom and also lead him to the spiritual kingdom again. For then love will have awakened in the human being and thus also the spirit, which will always express itself for the blessing of the human being's soul. The spiritual spark, which is part of the eternal father-spirit, is the spark of love which has to be ignited in the human being in order to become effective. This spark of love slumbers in every human being, but it is up to the human being himself to ignite it, and thus the human being himself must awaken the spirit in himself to life.... He must practice love and let the spark of love flare up into an ever brighter flame.... he must perform works of neighbourly love, and to the same extent he will also give his spirit the opportunity to express itself. And what the spirit now gives him with such expressions is spiritual wealth, they are goods which originate from the spiritual kingdom and also follow the human being into the spiritual kingdom when he leaves this earth.... The flame of love illuminates the human being's inner being and he will now become seeing and knowing, he will learn to recognize what was previously unknown to him, he will gain a correct image of the creator and His creation, of his own relationship with this creator and of the task which was given to the human being for his earthly existence. But such knowledge will not be dead knowledge, knowledge which was only supplied to him from outside but which does not spread light within him. Such knowledge will be truly alive and give him brightest light which he can no longer lose for ever because it was imparted to him by the spirit within himself. For the spirit is part of the father-spirit from eternity, and therefore it is also familiar with all secrets of creation, it knows about the eternal plan of salvation, it knows about God's reign and activity in His kingdom.... He knows everything and can therefore also inform the human being who causes him to express himself, who, through a life of love, makes contact with the spirit within himself such that he can then be constantly guided and taught and only ever hears what the spirit from God announces to him. But this process can never take place in a person who only loves himself and the world.... The spiritual spark is still buried in him and it can happen that he has no opportunity to express himself until the end of his life. Then earthly life will have been lived in vain by the soul, which will not be able to register any spiritual progress because it lacks love. For even the slightest activity of love would awaken the spirit to life, but where selfish love predominates the spirit slumbers, and it cannot influence the soul in any way to accept the thoughts it receives. A person who only loves himself and the world resists all spiritual thoughts, which will indeed always push their way in but never force the person to accept them. Love alone brings about the change of will and nature, and only love gives the spirit the opportunity to express itself. And without the working of the spirit no human being will attain realization, without the working of the spirit no human being will travel the path to the father, because the father alone draws him upwards through His spirit, with Whom he is eternally and inseparably united, if only the human being of his own free will seeks this bond....

La manifestazione dello spirito è possibile soltanto attraverso l’agire nell’amore

Ogni pensiero spirituale è una manifestazione dello spirito in voi, altrimenti tutti i vostri pensieri sarebbero orientati solamente al terreno. La scintilla spirituale in voi perciò cerca costantemente il legame con lo Spirito del Padre e cercherà sempre d’influenzarvi, mentre agisce mentalmente su di voi. La sua influenza però riguarderà sempre soltanto il Regno spirituale, quindi rivolgerà pure il vostro pensare su questo Regno, se non trova nessuna resistenza nella vostra volontà, perché questa può anche rivolgersi totalmente al mondo, allora respingerà ogni pensiero spirituale e lo spirito non può esprimersi verso l’uomo. Si possono tracciare dei confini del tutto chiari: Più l’uomo pensa a sé stesso, quindi al suo proprio bene, più lo colmeranno dei pensieri puramente terreni, ed al suo spirito viene impedito il suo agire. Ma se l’uomo pensa al prossimo, che ha bisogno del suo aiuto, allora irrompe lo spirito ed ora può guidare all’uomo tali pensieri che defluiscono dal Regno spirituale e riconducono anche di nuovo a questo, perché allora si è risvegliato l’amore nell’uomo e quindi anche lo spirito, che ora si manifesta sempre per la Benedizione dell’anima dell’uomo. La scintilla spirituale, che è parte dello Spirito del Padre Eterno, è la scintilla d’amore che dev’essere accesa nell’uomo per poter diventare attiva. Questa scintilla d’amore sonnecchia in ogni uomo, ma lui stesso è libero di accenderla, e quindi l’uomo stesso deve risvegliare alla Vita lo spirito in sé, deve esercitare l’amore e far divampare la scintilla d’amore ad una fiamma sempre più chiara, deve svolgere delle opere nell’amore per il prossimo, e nella stessa misura darà anche la possibilità al suo spirito di manifestarsi. E quello che ora lo spirito gli dona con tali manifestazioni, è la ricchezza spirituale, sono dei beni che provengono dal Regno spirituale e che seguiranno anche l’uomo nello stesso, quando abbandona la Terra. La fiamma d’amore illumina l’interiore dell’uomo ed ora diventerà veggente e sapiente, imparerà a riconoscere ciò che prima gli era sconosciuto, guadagnerà una giusta Immagine del Creatore e della Sua Creazione, del suo proprio rapporto verso questo Creatore e del compito che veniva posto all’uomo per la sua esistenza terrena. Ma un tale sapere non sarà un sapere morto, un sapere che gli veniva portato solamente dall’esterno, ma che non diffonde in lui nessuna Luce. Un tale sapere sarà davvero vivo e gli donerà la Luce più chiara, che ora non potrà perdere mai più in eterno, perché gli è stato trasmesso dallo spirito in sé. Perché lo spirito è la Parte dello Spirito del Padre dall’Eternità, e perciò ha anche confidenza con tutti i Misteri della Creazione, conosce l’eterno Piano di Salvezza, l’Operare ed Agire di Dio nel Suo Regno. Conosce tutto e perciò può anche dare conoscenza di tutto questo all’uomo, il quale induce lo spirito all’esternazione, che attraverso una vita d’amore si mette da sé in contatto con lo spirito in sé, affinché ora possa essere costantemente guidato ed ammaestrato e sente sempre soltanto ciò che gli annuncia lo Spirito di Dio. Ma questo procedimento non può mai aver luogo in un uomo, che ama solo sé stesso ed il mondo. In costui la scintilla spirituale è ancora coperta, e può succedere che fino alla fine della vita non abbia la possibilità di manifestarsi. Allora la vita terrena è stata vissuta invano dall’anima, che non potrà registrare nessun progresso spirituale, dato che le manca l’amore; perché il minimo agire d’amore risveglierebbe già lo spirito alla Vita, ma dove predomina l’amore dell’io, là lo spirito sonnecchia e non può agire in nessun modo sull’anima, per accogliere i pensieri che le giungono. Un uomo che ama soltanto sé stesso ed il mondo, respinge ogni pensiero spirituale, che però questo si spingerà comunque sempre di nuovo vicino a lui, ma non lo costringerà mai all’accettazione. L’amore soltanto, procura il cambiamento della volontà e dell’essere e l’amore soltanto dà allo spirito la possibilità di manifestarsi. E senza l’agire dello spirito nessun uomo giunge alla conoscenza, senza l’agire dello spirito nessun uomo percorrerà la via verso il Padre, perché soltanto il Padre lo attira verso l’Alto tramite il Suo Spirito, con il Quale è eternamente e inseparabilmente unito, se soltanto l’uomo cerca questo legame nella libera volontà.
