Admonition to make use of the end time for the salvation of souls....

Only few people seriously strive for perfection, most are satisfied with externalities and are not aware of their purpose of existence. They value earthly life as the highest and only ever strive to make it as pleasant as possible for themselves without considering what advantage the soul derives from it and what they owe their souls. The soul wants to be nourished just as much as the body, the soul needs nourishment even more urgently, for it is what remains when the body passes away, when the human being's life is over. And the state it is in at the end of its earthly life is decisive for eternity. It can be glorious but also very bleak.... the soul can dwell in supreme bliss in the spiritual kingdom but also ruefully remember the unused time of earthly life when torment and darkness is its lot. And people do not remember this.... They live out their days and let their soul starve, they first look after themselves, i.e. their body, before they think of supplying the soul with good nourishment which enables it to mature, which helps it to reach perfection. Sudden death in their surroundings often draws people's attention to the fact that their own life can also end very quickly.... people are often taken away from the circle of their loved ones through death, and then they certainly also temporarily think of their own death, but only a few make a serious change in themselves, only a few live their earthly life consciously and still prepare themselves for the life which comes afterwards. For only a few are strong in faith.... Only a few enter into living contact with God and thereby attain inner realization of the purpose and aim of earthly life. And therefore only a few will reach the degree at their demise which secures their entrance into bright heights, but most will still have to struggle and fight for a long time in the kingdom of the beyond in order to just reach a small glimmer of light which makes their fate more bearable. For their strength will not be great and yet an ascent is still possible for them if they are not completely hardened in spirit, if they accept the guidance and instructions in the kingdom of the beyond which will still be offered to them through God's merciful love but which also presuppose their own will to still achieve spiritual progress. And therefore only a warning and admonition can be called out to people: Make use of the time on earth for your soul.... Don't let it pass by unused but remember that the actual life still lies ahead of you, that earthly life is not the first but that it is decisive for eternity. For you can achieve much on this earth if only you seriously strive for perfection.... But you can also fail, and you will bitterly regret not having heeded the admonitions and warnings on earth....

혼의 구원을 위해 종말의 때를 활용하라는 경고.

단지 소수의 사람들이 자신을 온전하게 하기 위해 진지하게 추구한다. 대부분의 사람들은 외적인 것으로 만족하고 그들이 존재하는 목적을 알지 못한다. 그들은 이 땅의 삶을 최고의 것으로 평가하고 항상 단지 이 땅에 삶을 가능한대로 편안하게 만드는 노력을 하면서 이 일이 혼에게 어떤 유익을 있는지 그들이 그들의 혼에게 어떤 빚을 지고 있는지 생각하지 않는다.

혼은 육체와 마찬가지로 양식을 제공받기 원한다. 혼에게 더 긴급하게 양식이 필요하다. 왜냐면 육체가 죽으면, 사람의 삶이 끝나면, 계속 존재하는 것은 혼이기 때문이다. 이 땅의 삶의 마지막에 가서 혼이 처한 상태가 영원 동안의 혼의 상태가 된다. 이 상태는 영광스럽게 될 수 있다. 그러나 아주 황량하게 될 수 있다. 혼은 영의 나라에서 최고로 행복한 가운데 거할 수 있다. 그러나 고통과 어두움이 혼의 운명이 되면, 혼은 활용하지 않은 이 땅의 삶의 시간을 생각하면서 후회를 많이 할 것이다.

사람들은 이를 생각하지 않는다. 그들은 그들의 삶을 그냥 살고 그들의 혼을 피폐하게 한다. 그들은 먼저 자기 자신에게 제공을 한다. 다시 말해 혼이 성장하게 혼이 완성에 이르게 돕는 혼에게 좋은 양식을 제공하기보다 그들의 육체를 생각한다. 사람들은 자주 그들 주변에 갑작스러운 죽음을 통해 그들 자신의 삶도 아주 빠르게 끝날 수 있다는 것을 알게 된다. 죽음이 그들이 사랑하는 사람들 가운데 속한 사람을 데려가는 일이 자주 일어난다.

그러면 그들은 실제 잠시동안 자신의 죽음을 생각한다. 그러나 단지 적은 수의 사람들이 자신을 진지하게 변화시키려고 한다. 단지 적은 수의 사람들이 그들의 이 땅의 삶을 의식적으로 살고 이 가운데 죽음 후에 오는 삶을 준비한다. 왜냐면 단지 적은 수의 사람들이 믿음이 강하기 때문이다. 적은 수의 사람들이 하나님과 생명력이 있는 연결을 이루고 이로써 이 땅의 삶의 목적과 목표에 대한 내적인 깨달음에 도달한다.

그러므로 단지 적은 수의 사람들이 그들이 죽은 이후에 그들에게 빛나는 높은 곳이 보장되는 성장 정도에 도달한다. 그러나 대부분의 사람들은 저세상에서 그들의 운명을 견딜 수 있게 만들어 주는 단지 작은 빛의 여명이라도 받기 위해 오랜 동안 싸우고 투쟁해야만 한다.

왜냐면 그들의 능력이 크지 않기 때문이다. 그럴지라도 만약에 그들이 전적으로 강퍅한 생각을 가지고 있지 않으면, 그들이 저세상에서 하나님의 긍휼히 여기는 사랑을 통해 그들에게 제공되는 인도와 가르침을 영접하면, 그들에게 성장하는 일이 가능하다. 그러나 영적 성장을 하기 위해 선한 의지를 갖는 일이 선행조건이다.

그러므로 사람에게 항상 또 다시 이 땅의 시간을 너희 구원을 위해 활용하라고 경고해주고 권면해줄 수밖에 없다. 이 땅의 시간을 활용하지 않고 지나가게 하지 말고 실제적인 삶이 너희 앞에 있다는 것을 생각하고 이 땅에 삶의 첫 번째가 아니고 이 땅의 삶이 영원을 위해 결정적임을 생각하라.

왜냐면 너희가 진지하게 단지 온전하게 되기 위해 추구하면, 너희는 이 땅에서 많은 것을 이룰 수 있기 때문이다. 그러나 너희는 실패할 수 있다. 너희는 이 땅에서 권면들과 경고들을 심장으로 받아들이지 않은 것을 쓰라리게 후회할 것이다.
