Connection with the spiritual realm.... overcoming....

If you have succeeded in turning your back on the world and striving towards the spiritual kingdom you will hardly have to fear a relapse, for your serious will is recognizable and therefore spiritual help can be granted to you which is stronger than the adversary's attempts to pull you back into his realm. There is only one danger for you humans, and that is the world.... earthly pleasures and temptations which want to numb your soul so that it should have no desire whatsoever for the spiritual world. If this danger is seriously countered by turning away from the world, by turning towards God and His kingdom, then the soul will already have won and God's adversary will have lost his influence, who only ever tries to influence the human being through the material world. You all certainly live in this earthly world, your physical needs are always of an earthly nature and you cannot completely free yourselves from them because your desire is physically conditioned.... Yet there is a difference whether your soul only desires earthly well-being or whether it only grants the body the bare necessities and its desire is more spiritually directed.... For the material world was given to the human being to overcome, thus he should only fulfil the body's desire as far as it is necessary for its preservation, yet never forget the soul's needs, which are of a spiritual nature and can only be satisfied in the spiritual realm. Thus the human being should strive for this as the most important thing, and he should consider it his earthly task to make the spiritual kingdom accessible to the soul.... but this can only ever happen if the earthly world is only respected as far as it is absolutely necessary. Earth is connected to the spiritual kingdom by countless threads, and wherever a person takes hold of such a thread the connection with the spiritual kingdom is also established, and its inhabitants help the human being so that he can ascend rung by rung and is finally so firmly anchored in this kingdom that he hardly respects the earthly world any more.... The separation, however, must be accomplished on the part of the human being, and that in complete free will.... The human being must have recognized the earthly world as worthless for the soul, and he must seek to turn right values towards the soul, which he can only ever find in the spiritual kingdom, which is why his striving is only spiritual once he has overcome matter, the earthly world with its temptations. Until you humans give up this world the spiritual kingdom can never be opened to you, yet in order to be able to overcome the world you must appeal to God for strength and thereby testify to Him of your will, which wants to turn to Him.... and the strength will come to you, for it is the earnest will towards God which is now reciprocated by the beings of light on God's behalf with obvious help.... For they are now more entitled than God's adversary, and they truly make use of their right and help the human being to reach his aim....

영의 나라와 연결. 극복.

너희가 세상에 등을 돌리고 영의 나라를 추구하는 일에 성공하면, 너희는 퇴보할 일을 두려워할 필요가 전혀 없게 될 것이다. 왜냐면 너희의 진지한 의지를 깨달을 수 있고 그러므로 너희를 자신의 영역으로 다시 끌어드리려는 대적자의 시험보다 강한 영적인 도움이 너희에게 제공되기 때문이다. 너희 사람들에게 단 하내 위험이 있고 이 위험이 바로 세상이고 너희의 혼을 마비시키고 혼이 영적인 세계를 향한 갈망을 전혀 갖지 못하게 하는 이 땅의 기쁨과 유혹이다. 세상으로부터 돌이키는 일과 하나님과 하나님의 나라로 향하는 일을 통해 이런 위험에 진지하게 대항하면, 혼을 이미 얻은 것이고 하나님의 대적자가 자신의 영향력을 잃은 것이다. 대적자는 항상 단지 물질적인 세상을 통해 사람에게 영향을 미치려고 시도한다.

너희는 모두는 실제 이 땅의 세상에서 살고 너희의 신체적 필요는 항상 세상적인 속성이고 너희 자신을 이로부터 완전히 해방시킬 수 없다. 왜냐면 너희의 욕망이 육체적인 욕망이기 때문이다. 그러나 너희의 혼이 단지 이 땅의 안락한 삶을 바라는지 또는 몸에게 단지 절대적으로 필요한 것을 허용하고 너희의 갈망이 더 영적인 방향으로 향하게 하는 지에 차이가 있다. 왜냐면 인간이 극복하도록 인간에게 물질 세계가 주어졌기 때문이다. 그러므로 사람은 육체를 유지하는 데 필요한 정도로 육체의 욕망을 만족시켜야 하지만 그러나 영적인 종류이고 단지 영의 나라에서 만족시킬 수 있는 혼의 필요를 절대로 잊지 말아야 한다. 그러므로 인간은 이 일을 가장 중요한 일로 추구해야 하고 혼이 영의 나라에 접근할 수 있게 하는 일을 인간의 이 땅의 과제로 봐야 한다. 그러나 이렇게 되는 일은 항상 단지 절대적으로 필요한 만큼만 세상에 주의를 기울이는 일로 일어날 수 있다.

이 땅과 영의 나라는 셀 수 없게 많은 끈으로 연결되어 있고 사람이 이런 한 끈을 붙잡는 곳에서 영의 나라와 연결이 이뤄지고 영의 나라의 주민들이 사람을 도와 사람이 한 단계 한 단계 성장할 수 있게 되어 결국에는 영의 나라에 자리를 굳게 붙잡아 그가 더 이상 이 땅의 세상에 관심을 기울이지 않게 된다. 그러나 사람이 세상과 결별을 해야만 한다. 그러나 전적인 자유의지로 결별을 해야만 한다.

인간은 이 땅의 세상을 혼에게 무가치한 것으로 깨달아야만 하고 그는 항상 단지 영의 나라에서 찾을 수 있는 혼에게 올바른 가치가 있는 것을 제공하려고 시도해야만 한다. 그가 물질과 이 땅의 세상과 이들의 유혹을 이기면, 그가 단지 영적인 추구를 하게 된다. 너희 사람들이 세상을 아직 포기하지 못하면, 너희에게 영의 나라가 절대로 열릴 수 없다. 그러나 너희가 세상을 이기기 위해 하나님께 힘을 구해야만 하고 구하는 일을 통해 하나님께 향하려는 너희의 의지를 증명해야만 한다. 그러면 너희에게 힘이 제공될 것이다. 왜냐면 하나님께 향하려는 진지한 의지가 하나님의 사명을 받은 빛의 존재들에 의해 명백한 도움으로 응답을 받고 빛의 존재들이 이제 하나님의 대적자보다 더 많은 권리를 받고 이 권리를 진실로 올바르게 사용하여 사람이 그의 목표에 도달하도록 돕기 때문이다.
