Responsibility.... mind and free will....

You yourselves bear great responsibility for your soul, i.e., the spiritual in you should develop upwards through your will.... Your thinking and will should be directed towards finding the connection with above, with the kingdom of light, for you come from the abyss and should strive upwards. The human being is endowed with intellect and free will and he should use this same intellect and his will in the right way. He can just as well strive downwards, i.e. demand everything that draws his soul.... the spiritual into himself.... But for this purpose he was given the right to strive upwards. However, the intellect was given to him for this purpose, so that he will think carefully about the aim he is striving for. And his intellect is influenced by God’s word during his earthly life.... He is constantly informed of what lies within God's will, what he should strive for and what he should avoid or refrain from. God's will is made known to him so that he can mentally deal with it during his earthly life, so that he can decide between God's will and his own will, which at first is certainly still very downwardly inclined but can change. The human being bears the responsibility for his soul, for that which is imperishable, for his own I..... For even if he himself passes away and therefore often takes it lightly and often leaves the soul in spiritual distress, it is only his body which passes away.... he himself, his I, his soul, remains, and it enters the kingdom of the beyond in the state into which he has placed it on earth through his way of life.... The soul shall develop upwards.... All human activity promotes or hinders this development. The human being is, as it were, the determiner.... because his intellect and his will are active. Yet both often act irresponsibly towards the soul.... the spiritual substance, which only expresses itself instinctively in its cover, thus determines the human being, but should be released from its cover by the human being's intellect and will, which easily happens if the human being does in good will what is preached to him through the word of God.... if he practices love, which now also dissolves the soul's cover and clears the way for it to ascend.... Because the human being can think and want, therefore he also has the responsibility towards his soul, or also.... the soul with all its urges from its previous time of development finds its master in the intellect and free will, which can now certainly join its urges as well as oppose them.... Thus the human being can put in order what is still impulsive within himself because he has enough aids at his disposal and the most effective aid is the word of God, which gives him precise instructions, the observance of which will certainly also bring salvation to the soul. Without intellect and free will the human being could not be held to account.... but without intellect and free will the soul would never reach perfection either.... And therefore you humans should always be and remain aware of the fact that you yourselves must help your soul to mature, that you yourselves redeem your own self from the abyss if you let your intellect and free will become active in the right way.... when you reflect on everything you are taught through God’s word. And if you now endeavour to live in accordance with this divine word, if you consciously place your will under God's will and His will can now also come alive in you.... then you will fulfil your task of earthly life, then you will help your soul to ascend, then you will enter the kingdom of light, the kingdom of life and beatitude, even after the death of your body....

La responsabilità - L’intelletto e la libera volontà

Voi stessi portate una grande responsabilità per la vostra anima, cioè lo spirituale in voi deve svilupparsi verso l’Alto attraverso la vostra volontà, il vostro pensare e volere dev’essere rivolto a trovare il collegamento con l’Alto, con il Regno della Luce, perché provenite dal basso e dovete tendere verso l’Alto. L’uomo è provvisto con l’intelletto e la libera volontà e deve appunto usare questa volontà in modo giusto. Egli può pure tendere verso il basso, cioè desiderare tutto ciò che attira in giù la sua anima, lo spirituale in sé; ma per questo gli era dato l’intelletto, affinché pensi bene a quale meta tende. Ed il suo intelletto durante la vita terrena viene influenzata attraverso la Parola di Dio. Gli viene costantemente data conoscenza su ciò che è nella Volontà di Dio, a che cosa deve tendere e cosa evitare o omettere. Gli dev’essere annunciata la Volontà di Dio, affinché durante la vita terrena se ne possa occupare mentalmente, che possa decidersi fra la Volontà di Dio e la sua propria volontà, che inizialmente desidera ancora molto verso il basso, ma può cambiare. L’uomo porta la responsabilità per la sua anima, per ciò che è imperituro, per il suo proprio io. Perché anche se lui stesso scompare e perciò la prende sovente alla leggera e lascia molte volte l’anima nella miseria spirituale, è solo il suo corpo che passa, lui stesso, il suo io, la sua anima, rimane esistente e cioè entra nel Regno dell’aldilà nello stato, nel quale l’ha messa sulla Terra attraverso il suo cammino di vita. L’anima deve svilupparsi verso l’Alto, tutto l’agire dell’uomo promuove o impedisce questo sviluppo. L’uomo è in qualche modo il determinante, perché sono attivi il suo intelletto e la sua volontà. Ma ambedue agiscono sovente irresponsabili nei confronti dell’anima, dello spirituale che nel suo avvolgimento si manifesta in modo istintivo, quindi determina l’uomo, dev’essere liberata dal suo avvolgimento, dall’intelletto e dalla volontà dell’uomo, cosa che avviene facilmente, quando l’uomo nella buona volontà fa ciò che gli viene predicato attraverso la Parola di Dio, quando esercita l’amore, che ora dissolve anche l’involucro dell’anima e rende libera la via verso l’Alto. Dato che l’uomo può pensare e volere, ha anche la responsabilità verso la sua anima, oppure anche, l’anima con tutti i suoi istinti dal suo tempo antecedente di sviluppo, trova il suo maestro nell’intelletto e nella libera volontà, che ora può ben seguire ma anche opporrsi ai suoi istinti. L’uomo può quindi mettere in ordine ciò che in lui è ancora istintivo, perché ha a disposizione abbastanza mezzi d’aiuto e quello più efficace è la Parola di Dio, che gli dà precise l’istruzioni, la cui esecuzione procura anche certamente all’anima la salvezza. Senza intelletto e libera volontà l’uomo non potrebbe essere reso responsabile, ma senza intelletto e senza la libera volontà, l’anima non giungerà nemmeno mai al perfezionamento. E perciò voi uomini dovete sempre rendervi conto che voi stessi dovete aiutare la vostra anima alla maturità, che voi stessi liberate il vostro proprio io dall’abisso, quando lasciate divenire attivo il vostro intelletto e la libera volontà in modo giusto, quando riflettete su tutto ciò che vi viene insegnato tramite la Parola di Dio. E se ora vi sforzate di vivere secondo questa Parola divina, quando sottomettete coscientemente la vostra volontà alla Volontà di Dio ed ora anche la Sua Volontà diventa viva in voi, allora adempite il compito della vostra vita terrena, allora aiutate la vostra anima a salire in Alto, allora voi stessi dopo la morte del vostro corpo, entrare nel Regno della Luce, nel Regno della Vita e della Beatitudine.
