Remember the soul after death.... pitiful figures in the afterlife....

What your soul desires, that shall be supplied to it.... But do you pay attention to your soul's desire? You fulfil the body's demands but leave the soul's desire unfulfilled. And thus it will happen that your real self will enter the beyond in utmost poverty and weakness, for you do nothing during your earthly life to nourish and strengthen the soul; it starves and begs and is an unhappy being, while the well-fed body remains behind and perishes. If you could see the wretched figures in the hereafter who have passed over in this way, you would be terrified and turn away in horror.... And yet the same fate awaits you if you have led the same earthly life as they. Earthly life will pass very quickly, and what you humans have striven for and perhaps even achieved you will have to leave behind or it will be destroyed during your lifetime, and then you will have to ruefully realize that you left a time of grace unused which could have brought you spiritual success of immeasurable value.... You make a lot of mistakes during this short time of earthly life and yet you are constantly reminded and admonished to remember your soul which lives on when you have to leave your body.... Why don't you pay attention to these indications, why don't you follow the admonitions of those who want to help you in spiritual adversity.... why do you only turn your eyes to the world and don't even look within yourselves so that the soul's adversity would become apparent to you?.... You pay rich tribute to the world, that is, to God's adversary, but you do not make the small sacrifice of providing nourishment for the soul, which consists of the word of God.... Therefore you cannot expect mercy when you enter the spiritual kingdom, you will have to accept the fate you have prepared for the soul on earth yourselves.... Hunger and thirst, darkness and torment.... For it cannot reap what it did not sow on earth. It can indeed still be saved in the beyond, yet what dreadful torments precede its salvation; how immeasurably difficult it is to persuade a soul to change its will, which was completely wrongly directed on earth. The soul cannot be given what it did not acquire.... And it has to struggle unspeakably in order to achieve an improvement of its situation.

It will achieve it if it wants to, but the will is so dreadfully weak and only great love can help it up. And how rarely does a soul find such love.... because love has grown cold on earth and is therefore followed by little love.... If you humans knew about the hardship of these souls they would take pity on you and let your love flare up, yet you lack faith in it and cannot be given to you against your will.... Yet again and again divine love calls to you: Remember your souls.... Do not let them live in want in earthly life because you are preparing an agonizing fate for yourselves in eternity.... Remember the life of the soul after death, so that you do not have to think back in painful remorse of the unused time on earth. Work and create for your soul, so that you may live forever....

Gedenket der Seele nach dem Tode.... Jämmerliche Gestalten im Jenseits....

Was eure Seele verlangt, das soll ihr zugeführt werden.... Achtet ihr aber des Verlangens eurer Seele? Was der Körper fordert, das erfüllet ihr, der Seele Begehr aber lasset ihr ungestillt. Und so wird es geschehen, daß euer eigentliches Ich in das Jenseits eingeht in größter Armut und Schwäche, denn ihr tut nichts während eures Erdenlebens, die Seele zu nähren und zu kräftigen; sie hungert und darbet und ist ein unglückseliges Wesen, während der wohlgenährte Körper zurückbleibt und vergeht. Könntet ihr die jämmerlichen Gestalten im Jenseits sehen, die so hinübergegangen sind, ihr würdet erschrecken und euch voll Entsetzen abwenden.... Und doch erwartet euch das gleiche Los, so ihr das gleiche Erdenleben geführt habt wie jene. Sehr schnell geht das Erdenleben vorüber, und was ihr Menschen anstrebet und vielleicht auch errungen habt, das müsset ihr zurücklassen, oder es fällt noch zu Lebzeiten der Vernichtung anheim, und ihr werdet dann reuevoll erkennen müssen, daß ihr eine Gnadenzeit ungenützt ließet, die euch einen geistigen Erfolg eintragen konnte von unermeßlichem Wert.... Ihr verscherzet euch viel in dieser kurzen Erdenlebenszeit, und doch werdet ihr ständig hingewiesen und ermahnet, eurer Seele zu gedenken, die weiterlebt, wenn ihr den Leib ablegen müsset.... Warum achtet ihr dieser Hinweise nicht, warum folget ihr nicht den Mahnungen derer, die euch helfen wollen in geistiger Not.... warum richtet ihr eure Augen nur zur Welt und schauet nicht einmal in euer Inneres, daß euch die Not der Seele ersichtlich würde?.... Reichen Tribut zollet ihr der Welt, also dem Gegner Gottes, doch das kleine Opfer bringet ihr nicht der Seele, ihr Nahrung zu reichen, die im Wort Gottes besteht.... Ihr habt darum auch kein Erbarmen zu erwarten bei eurem Eintritt in das geistige Reich, ihr müsset das Los auf euch nehmen, das ihr selbst auf Erden der Seele bereitet habt.... Hunger und Durst, Finsternis und Qual.... Denn sie kann nicht ernten, was sie auf Erden nicht gesät hat. Wohl kann ihr auch noch im Jenseits Rettung werden, doch welch entsetzliche Qualen gehen ihrer Rettung voraus; wie maßlos schwer ist es, eine Seele dazu zu bewegen, den Willen zu wandeln, der auf Erden völlig falsch gerichtet war. Es kann der Seele nicht gegeben werden, was sie sich nicht erwarb.... Und sie muß unsagbar ringen, um eine Besserung ihrer Lage zu erreichen.

Sie wird es erreichen, wenn sie es will, aber der Wille ist so entsetzlich schwach, und nur große Liebe kann ihr emporhelfen. Und wie selten findet eine Seele solche Liebe.... weil auf Erden die Liebe erkaltet ist und ihr daher wenig Liebe nachfolget.... Wüßtet ihr Menschen um die Not dieser Seelen, sie würden euch erbarmen und eure Liebe aufflammen lassen, doch der Glaube daran fehlt euch und kann euch nicht wider euren Willen gegeben werden.... Doch immer wieder rufet die göttliche Liebe euch zu: Gedenket eurer Seelen.... lasset sie nicht darben im Erdenleben, weil ihr euch ein qualvolles Los bereitet in der Ewigkeit.... Gedenket des Lebens der Seele nach dem Tode, auf daß ihr nicht in schmerzvollster Reue zurückdenken müsset der ungenützten Erdenzeit.... Wirket und schaffet für eure Seele, auf daß ihr lebet ewiglich....
