"I am the light of the world...." light is truth....

I am the light of the world, and only where I am can the light shine, but where I am not there is darkness.... Anyone who allows these words to deeply penetrate his heart will also soon be touched by a ray of light, for he will realize that he has to take the path to Me in order to reach the light. But light is truth, and truth emanates from Me. And thus no-one can walk in truth who is distant from God, who has not accepted Me Myself so that I will kindle a light in him. But to receive Me means to make love your own, for anyone who lives in love lives in Me and I in him.... I, therefore, am love, truth, light and life.... Without Me you live apart, in darkness. Wherever else you seek the light.... you will not find it if you do not ignite it within yourselves through love, if you do not draw Me, Who am love Myself, to you through loving activity. There can be disorder in your thoughts, but then there is also disorder in your heart, then love is not in you, which orders everything according to eternal law, which also guides your thinking correctly and does not let any ambiguity, no questions and no doubts arise in you. Thus light is only in you when I Myself have found acceptance in your heart, because I Myself am the light from eternity. But you are free to choose the light or the darkness.... If you believe in Me, through Whom the light has come into the world, if you believe in Jesus Christ and His act of salvation, then you will also try to win Me, you will let yourselves be called out of darkness by Me, you will listen to My voice, you will recognize My commandments of love as My will, and you will enter into My will for the sake of light, you will long for Me, for My love, for the life I have promised you, you will recognize that there is no life without Me and thus voluntarily step into the glow of light which I Myself emanate, you will look for the light and also find it.... You will move in truth as well as you move in love.... There is no other way to reach the truth than through love.... And this will also explain to you the error spread throughout the whole world, which infallibly has to be where there is no love.... But love has grown cold among people.... Where is the truth to be found which cannot be where I am not Myself, which is not apart from Me and which has been suppressed by human unkindness itself. Where there is no love there is darkness, no matter how highly developed people's intellect may be.... I am the light of the world, but I am also the eternal love.... but where the light is extinguished, where love cannot be found, there is also darkness of spirit, there is error, ignorance, delusion and spiritual arrogance, for there the prince of darkness reigns who wants to displace the truth and thereby also the one Who is the eternal truth, Who is the light from eternity....

나는 세상의 빛이고, 빛은 진리이다.

나는 세상의 빛이다. 내가 있는 곳에 단지 빛을 비출 수 있다. 그러나 내가 없는 곳에는 어두움이 있다. 이 말을 심장 안으로 깊이 들어가게 하는 사람은 곧 빛의 광선을 받게 될 것이고, 그는 빛에 도달하기 위해 나에게 향하는 길을 가야만 한다는 것을 깨달을 것이다. 그러나 빛은 진리이고, 진리는 나에게서 나온다. 그러므로 내가 그 안에 빛을 밝혀주도록 자신 안으로 나를 받아들이지 않고, 하나님과 멀리 떨어져 있는 사람은 진리 안에 거할 수 없다. 그러나 나를 영접하는 일은 사랑을 자신의 소유로 만드는 일을 의미한다. 사랑 안에서 사는 사람은 내 안에서 살고, 내가 그 안에서 산다.

그러므로 내가 사랑이요 진리요 빛이요 생명이다. 나 없이는 어두움 속에 빠져 살고, 너희가 다른 곳에서 빛을 찾을지라도, 너희가 스스로 사랑을 통해 불을 밝히지 않고, 너희가 사랑을 행하는 일을 통해 자체가 사랑인 나를 너희에게 이끌지 않으면, 너희는 사랑을 찾을 수 없게 될 것이다. 너희의 생각이 무질서 하게 될 수 있고, 너희 심장의 내면도 무질서하게 될 수 있고 그러면 너희 안에 사랑이 거할 수 없게 된다. 사랑은 영원한 법칙에 따라 모든 것을 정리하고, 또한 너희의 생각을 올바르게 인도하고, 너희 안에 어떤 선명하지 못함과 질문이나 의심이 생기지 않게 한다.

그러므로 내가 심장 안으로 영접을 받을 때 너희 안이 빛이 있게 된다. 왜냐면 나 자신이 영원의 빛이기 때문이다. 그러나 너희는 빛이나 어두움을 자유롭게 선택할 수 있다. 너희가 빛이 세상에 임하게 한 나를 믿고, 예수 그리스도와 그의 구속사역을 믿으면, 너희는 나를 얻으려고 시도할 것이고, 너희가 나를 통해 어두움 속에서 자신을 불러내게 할 것이고, 너희는 내 음성을 듣게 될 것이고, 내 사랑의 계명을 내 뜻으로 깨닫게 될 것이고, 너희는 빛이기 때문에 내 뜻을 따르게 될 것이고, 나와 내 사랑과 내가 너희에게 약속한 삶을 갈망하게 될 것이고, 너희는 내가 없이는 생명이 없다는 것을 깨닫게 될 것이다. 그러므로 나 자신이 발산하는 빛 안으로 스스로 들어갈 것이고, 빛을 구할 것이고, 빛을 발견하게 될 것이다.

너희가 사랑 안에서 살게 되면, 너희는 진리 안에서 살게 될 것이다. 사랑을 통하는 길 외에는 진리에 도달하는 다른 길이 없다. 이런 사실이 또한 전 세계에 퍼져 있는 사랑이 없는 곳에 틀림 없이 있어야만 하는 오류를 너희에게 설명해줄 것이다. 그러나 사람들 가운데 사랑은 식었고, 나 자신이 거할 수 없는 곳인 내 밖에서 존재할 수 없고, 인간의 사랑 없음 자체로 인해 물리침을 받은 진리를 어디에서 찾을 수 있느냐!

사람의 이성이 아무리 고도로 발달되어 있을지라도 사랑이 없는 곳에 어두움이 있다. 나는 세상의 빛이다. 그러나 나는 또한 영원한 사랑이다. 그러나 빛이 꺼진 곳에 사랑이 없고, 영의 어두움이 있고, 오류와 무지와 속는 일과 영적인 오만함이 있다. 왜냐면 그런 곳을 어두움의 권세자가 다스리기 때문이다. 어두움의 권세자는 빛을 물리치기를 원하고 이로써 또한 영원한 진리이고 영원한 빛인 분을 물리치기 원한다.
