Prerequisite for truth: love - desire for truth - Free will....

If people lack the right realization it is always a sign that they also lack the warmth of love, the fire which radiates the light.... Anyone who desires the truth will be supplied with it, because I will not leave such desire unfulfilled. Therefore, anyone who does not know the truth has never looked for it either, because I, as the eternal truth Myself, also allow Myself to be found by the seeker. Every person who intellectually seeks to fathom something certainly believes that he desires the truth; however, his intellect cannot achieve it, the heart has to be involved, and this means that I Myself have to be called upon for support, because then I will express Myself through the heart and convey the pure truth to the seeker. Without love and desire for truth, without My support, a person will never attain realization, and therefore you can very easily recognize the fellow human being's relationship to Me, even if he has a teaching activity.... You, who are taught by Me Myself, who receive My word from above, have extensive knowledge and can certainly speak of true realization. Therefore you will also notice how much error is spread in the world, you will clearly and distinctly recognize it as error, and you will want to present your gained knowledge to those who are in error.... You will also be able to do so because I Myself support you, because I want the pure truth to find its way in amongst people. But stay away from places where people insist too much on their knowledge, for you won't achieve much there because the will for the pure truth no longer exists but they only want their knowledge to be the right one. You would have a difficult time there if I did not support you by putting words into your mouth with which you can make them suspicious. They will not be able to answer you with real wisdom but only make use of learned words which are not quite clear to them themselves if you desire information about them. And yet, truth is accessible to every human being, it merely requires the will to know it. However, where the will is bound by presenting a spiritual good as truth and making its recognition obligatory, pure truth can hardly find its way in, for the human being is unable to recognize that he thereby hands himself over to the adversary who wants to have his tribute paid.... darkening of the human being's spiritual state.... If a heart full of love, desire for truth and a completely free decision of will are required to attain the right knowledge, to possess the pure truth, then it can be seen from this how rarely people live in truth, for these prerequisites for it are rarely present, which will one day be obvious. Humanity walks along in complete blindness and could put itself into possession of the pure truth with the full inner conviction of what is conveyed to it as truth from above directly or through messengers. Yet love is increasingly growing cold amongst people, and this means that truth is also increasingly rare to find, because truth is inconceivable without love, because it is only given to the one who lives in love....

진리를 얻기 위한 전제 조건은 사랑과 진리를 향한 갈망과 자유의지이다.

사람에게 올바른 깨달음이 없다면, 이는 항상 사람들에게 사랑의 온기와 빛이 발산하는 불이 부족하다는 증거이다. 진리를 갈망하는 사람은 내가 그런 갈망을 성취시켜주지 않고 놔두지 않기 때문에 그에게 제공된다. 그러므로 진리 안에 서지 않는 사람은 진리를 전혀 찾지 않은 것이다. 왜냐면 영원한 진리인 나 자신이 구하는 사람이 나를 찾을 수 있게 하기 때문이다. 이성을 통해 어떤 것을 헤아려 보는 모든 사람은 실제 자신이 진리를 갈망한다고 믿는다. 그러나 그의 이성으로는 헤아려보는 일을 이루지 못하고, 심장이 함께 해야만 한다. 이는 나 자신이 지원을 요청받아야만 한다는 것을 의미한다. 왜냐면 그러면 내가 심장을 통해 나 자신을 표현하고 구하는 사람에게 순수한 진리를 전하기 때문이다.

진리를 향한 사랑과 갈망이 없고 내 지원을 받지 않는 사람은 절대로 깨달음에 도달하지 못할 것이다. 그러므로 이웃 사람이 가르치는 일을 할지라도 그가 나와 어떤 관계에 있는 지를 너희가 아주 쉽게 깨달을 수 있다. 나 자신에 의해 가르침을 받고 위에서 준 내 말씀을 받는 너희는 폭 넓은 지식을 가지고 있고, 이런 지식을 확실하게 올바른 지식이라고 할 수 있다. 그러므로 너희는 또한 세상에 얼마나 많은 오류가 퍼져 있는 지를 알게 될 것이다. 너희는 오류를 오류로 분명하게 깨닫고, 너희가 얻은 지식으로 오류 가운데 사는 사람들에게 전해주기를 원하게 될 것이고, 전해줄 수 있게 될 것이다. 왜냐면 나 자신이 너희에게 지원을 해주고, 내가 사람들 가운데 순수한 진리가 전해지기를 원하기 때문이다.

그러나 자신의 지식에 아주 강하게 머무는 사람들이 있는 곳을 멀리하라. 왜냐면 너희가 그런 곳에는 많은 일을 할 수 없고, 순수한 진리를 향한 의지가 더 이상 없고, 그들의 지식이 옳기를 원하기 때문이다. 그런 곳에서 내가 너희를 도와 너희의 입술에 말을 넣어주어, 너희가 상대방을 당황하게 만들 수 있게 하지 않는다면, 너희는 어려운 위치에 있게 될 것이다. 그들은 진정한 지혜로 너희에게 대항할 수 없게 될 것이고, 너희가 설명을 요구하면, 그들은 그들 자신도 선명하지 않고 단지 배워서 얻은 말들을 사용할 것이다.

그러나 모든 사람이 진리에 도달할 수 있다. 이를 위해 단지 먼저 진리에 도달하려는 의지가 요구된다. 그러나 의지가 묶인 곳으로, 즉 영적인 내용을 진리로 제시하고, 이를 진리로 인정하는 일을 의무로 만드는 곳으로 순수한 진리가 들어가기가 어렵다. 왜냐면 사람이 이런 일을 통해 자신을 대적자에게 넘어가게 한다는 것을 깨달을 수 없고, 대적자가 사람들의 영의 상태를 어둡게 하는 자신의 지분을 원하기 때문이다.

사랑이 올바른 깨달음을 얻고 순수한 진리를 소유하기 위해 충만한 심장과 진리를 향한 갈망과 완전한 자유의지가 요구된다면, 이를 통해 사람들이 진리 안에 서는 일이 얼마나 희귀한 일인지를 알 수 있다. 왜냐면 이런 선행 조건들이 단지 희귀하게 성취되고, 이런 상태가 언젠가 명백하게 드러날 것이기 때문이다. 인류는 완전히 눈이 먼 가운데 산다. 인류는 진리로서 위에서 직접 또는 일꾼을 통해 전달된 것을 완전히 내적으로 확신하는 가운데 순수한 진리를 소유할 수 있다. 그러나 사람들 사이에 사랑이 항상 점점 더 차갑게 될 것이다. 이런 일은 진리를 점점 더 적게 찾아볼 수 있게 되는 일을 의미한다. 왜냐면 사랑 없는 진리는 생각할 수 없고, 진리는 단지 사랑 안에서 사는 사람에게 주어지기 때문이다.
