Love and faith....

People lack love and faith and this is their undoing. Their hardened hearts, which only love themselves and cannot muster any feeling for their suffering fellow human beings, are also incapable of believing in a creator of heaven and earth, for faith comes forth from love, faith only comes alive through love. And that is why at the time of the end there is great spiritual hardship, the state of darkness and sin. For without love and without faith there is no light and no knowledge for people either; and therefore they succumb to God's adversary, the prince of darkness, who is devoid of all love and also extinguishes it in people. People are completely without life, for earthly life is only short and then they succumb to spiritual death, which is dreadfully agonizing because there is no extinction for the soul but life is inconceivable in the state the soul is in after its physical death. For love and faith alone are life-awakening, where love and faith are missing, there is death. For love and faith secure the union with God, but without God there is no life, without God there is darkness and powerlessness and thus a state of inactivity, the epitome of death.... People only believe what they see, and they only love themselves. They reject everything spiritual, which is not tangible or visible to them, precisely because they have no love within themselves which, as a divine principle, would also revive faith in God, because then God Himself could work in the human being and His presence would also become an inner conviction for him. But without love the heart is mute, it is far from God and does not feel His strength. And thus the intellect cannot be moved to acknowledge a being Which is the creator of everything that surrounds the human being. The heart cannot instruct the intellect because it is itself inaccessible to all instruction, for the lack of love prevents the working of the spirit which instructs the human being from within and emotionally presents the truth to him. Where love and faith are lacking, the human heart is silent and the soul is in great distress. But in order to shape the human being into love, much earthly hardship is necessary so that he will be touched by the misery of his fellow human beings and the spark of love will be ignited in him.... Only then will his own spiritual hardship begin to fade away, only then will his heart become light, and only then will his intellect consider the questions which provide him with information about his destiny, about his creator of eternity and his relationship with Him.... Only then will he learn to believe, and the more active love becomes in him the more convinced his faith will also become, and the spiritual darkness will give way to the light of day, to right knowledge and to life.... Love and faith determine life in eternity, but they also illuminate the human being's spiritual state on earth. For without love and faith there is no spiritual rebirth and no union with God, without love and faith there is no redemption, and the soul remains eternally in the night of death. For it is far from God and therefore cannot be blissfully happy either....

Amour et foi

Aux hommes il manque l'amour et la foi et cela est leur ruine. Leurs cœurs sont si endurcis qu’ils s'aiment seulement eux-mêmes et ne peuvent faire se lever aucun sentiment pour le prochain qui souffre dans la misère, ils sont aussi incapables de croire dans un Créateur du Ciel et de la Terre, parce que la foi se lève de l'amour, la foi devient vivante seulement par l'amour. Et donc dans le temps de la fin il y a une misère spirituelle si grande, que c’est un état d'obscurité et de péché. Parce que sans amour et sans foi pour les hommes il n'existe aussi aucune Lumière et aucune connaissance ; et donc ils succombent à l'adversaire de Dieu, au prince de l'obscurité qui est dépourvue de tout amour et il l'éteint aussi dans les hommes. Les hommes sont totalement sans Vie, parce que la vie terrestre est seulement brève et ensuite ils tombent dans la mort spirituelle qui est horriblement atroce, parce qu'il n'existe aucune mort de l'âme, et une Vie n'est pas concevable dans l'état dans lequel se trouve l'âme après la mort du corps. Parce que seulement l'amour et la foi réveillent à la Vie, là où il manque l'amour et la foi, là il y a la mort. Parce que l'amour et la foi assurent l'unification avec Dieu, mais sans Dieu il n'existe aucune Vie, sans Dieu il y a l'obscurité et l'absence de Force et donc un état d'inactivité, c’est un état de mort. Les hommes croient seulement ce qu'ils voient et s'aiment seulement eux-mêmes. Tout le spirituel, leur est incompréhensible et insaisissable, ils le refusent, parce qu'ils n'ont en eux aucun amour qui, en tant que Principe divin, ferait aussi revivre la foi en Dieu, parce qu'alors Dieu Lui-Même pourrait agir dans l'homme et même Sa Présence lui deviendrait une conviction intérieure. Mais sans amour le cœur est muet, il est loin de Dieu et il ne sent pas Sa Force. Et donc même l'entendement n'est pas assez actif pour reconnaître une Entité qui Est Créatrice de tout ce qui entoure l'homme. Le cœur ne peut pas instruire l'entendement, parce qu'il est inaccessible pour l'enseignement, parce que l'homme auquel il manque l'amour, empêche l’Action de l'Esprit qui instruit l'homme de l'intérieur et lui soumet sensiblement la Vérité. Là où il manque amour et foi, là règne le silence dans le cœur humain et l'âme est en grande misère. Mais pour former l'homme dans l'amour, beaucoup de misères terrestres sont nécessaires pour qu'il soit touché par la misère du prochain et que soit allumée en lui l’étincelle d'amour. Seulement alors la misère spirituelle commence à disparaître, seulement alors il devient lumineux dans son cœur et ensuite l'entendement s’occupe des questions qui lui donnent l'éclaircissement sur sa destination, sur son Créateur de l'Éternité et sur son rapport avec Lui. Seulement alors il apprend à croire et plus l’amour devient actif en lui, plus convaincue sera aussi sa foi et l'obscurité spirituelle fera place au grand jour, à la juste connaissance et à la Vie. Amour et foi déterminent la Vie dans l'Éternité, comme ils éclairent déjà sur la Terre l'état spirituel de l'homme, parce que sans amour et sans foi il n'existe aucune renaissance spirituelle et aucune unification avec Dieu, sans amour et sans foi il n'existe aucune Libération, et l'âme reste éternellement dans la nuit de la mort, parce qu'elle est loin de Dieu et donc elle ne peut pas être bienheureuse.
