"Seek ye first the kingdom of God...."

Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all else shall be added unto you.... Hear what I want to say to you about this statement: You can always rely on My fatherly care if you live according to My will. And My will is that you first think of the soul's needs before you let earthly worries approach you. However, the way you humans are at present you will not accept My statement, for your faith is so small and weak that it seems impossible for you to be earthly sustained. For you put this earthly life first and only think and create for this. But I want the soul to be considered first, and if you fulfil this condition I will take over the earthly care for you. This is a promise which I did not make in vain at the time of My life on earth, after all, I knew about the ever-increasing craving for matter and also about My remedies which I have to use in order to educate people. I have to let earthly adversity approach them in order to turn their thoughts towards Me, and I wanted to give them the surest means to get rid of earthly adversity. I therefore set a condition.... to seek My kingdom on earth.... the fulfilment of which I wanted to reward with earthly care so that they could carry out the work on their souls completely unburdened. My words were clear and distinct, and they may also be interpreted as they read: I take care of all physical needs as soon as the human being does what earthly life is given to him to do, to increase his soul maturity, to develop spiritually upwards, thus to strive for My kingdom with all eagerness in order to become blissfully happy. But who takes these words of Mine seriously, who shakes off every earthly worry in order to burden Me with it in full faith in My help? There would truly be no need for adversity on earth if these words of Mine were believed, which prove My living creations' right relationship with Me as their father from eternity and therefore also guarantee fulfilment. Only a few have created the evidence for themselves, only a few seriously strive to acquire My kingdom and are therefore free from every earthly worry, for I care for these few like a right father for his children.... I provide them with everything they need and My gifts of grace often flow to them in a miraculous way, because I don't leave anyone in earthly adversity who unconditionally trusts Me and tries to gain Me and My kingdom. For the others, however, My word is merely a figure of speech; they don't take it seriously and will not experience the fulfilment of My promise as long as they stay away from Me and My kingdom themselves, as they strive to possess the earthly world with its goods and forget their soul in the process. They have to take care of themselves, for I have made My care dependent on the fulfilment of the condition to seek My kingdom and its justice.... Everyone will be able to convince himself of the truth of My promise as soon as he puts the care for his soul before everything else, as soon as he strives towards Me and is therefore embraced and cared for by Me with all fatherly love....

"먼저 하나님의 나라를 구하라."

먼저 하나님의 나라와 그의 의를 구하라 그러면 다른 모든 것이 너희에게 주어질 것이다. 이 말을 통해 내가 너희에게 무엇을 말하기 원하는 지를 들으라: 너희가 내 뜻대로 살면, 너희는 항상 나의 아버지의 보살핌을 의지할 수 있다. 내 뜻은 너희가 세상적으로 너희를 돌보기 전에 먼저 혼의 요구를 돌보는 일이다. 그러나 너희 사람들이 현재에 가진 자세로는 너희는 나의 말을 받아들이지 않을 것이다. 왜냐면 너희의 믿음이 너무 작고 연약해서 세상에서 필요한 것을 받는 일이 너희에게 불가능하게 보이기 때문이다. 왜냐면 너희가 세상의 삶을 최우선으로 삼고 단지 세상의 삶을 생각하고 세상의 삶을 위해 일하기 때문이다.

그러나 나는 혼이 먼저 돌봄을 받기를 원하고, 너희가 이 조건을 충족시킨다면, 내가 세상적으로 너희를 돌보는 일을 맡을 것이다. 이 말은 내가 이 땅에 거할 때 의미가 없이 준 약속이 아니다. 나는 물질을 향한 갈망이 점점 더 증가할 것을 알았고, 또한 사람들을 양육하기 위해 내가 사용해야만 하는 대항하는 수단을 알았다. 나는 그들의 생각이 나에게 향하게 하기 위해 세상적인 고난이 그들에게 임하게 해야만 하고, 세상의 고난을 해결할 가장 안전한 수단을 그들에게 주기를 원했다.

그러므로 내가 이 땅에서 나의 나라를 구하라는 조건을 세웠다. 나는 내 조건을 성취시킨다면 세속적인 보살핌으로 보상하기를 원했다. 이로써 그들이 완전히 부담이 없이 그들의 혼을 위한 일을 할 수 있게 했다. 내 말은 선명하고 분명했고, 그 말 그대로 해석할 수 있다: 사람이 혼의 성숙한 정도를 높이고 자신을 영적으로 성장시키기 위해 그에게 주어진 이 땅의 삶을 주어진 목적대로 산다면, 즉 구원받기 위해 모든 열심으로 나의 나라를 추구한다면, 내가 모든 신체적인 필요를 돌본다. 그러나 누가 이런 나의 말씀을 진지하게 받아들이고, 내 도움을 전적으로 믿고 나에게 모든 세상 염려를 털어 놓느냐?

이런 나의 말씀을 믿는다면, 이 땅에 진실로 고난이 있을 필요가 없다. 이런 믿음이 나의 피조물과 그들의 영원한 아버지인 나와의 올바른 관계를 증명하고 따라서 성취를 보장받게 한다. 단지 소수의 사람들이 스스로 이를 체험하고, 단지 소수의 사람들이 나의 나라를 얻기 위해 진지하게 추구하고, 모든 세상 염려에서 해방이 된다. 왜냐면 올바른 아버지가 그의 자녀들을 돌보는 것처럼 내가 이런 소수의 사람들을 위해 돌보기 때문이다. 나는 그들에게 필요한 모든 것을 그들에게 주고, 나의 은혜의 선물은 자주 놀라운 방식으로 그들에게 제공된다. 왜냐면 나를 무조건 신뢰하고 나와 나의 나라에 도달하려고 시도하는 사람을 내가 절대로 세상적인 고난 가운데 버려두지 않기 때문이다.

그러나 다른 사람들에게 이런 내 말은 단지 하는 말이다. 그들은 이 말을 진지하게 받아들이지 않고 또한 그들 자신이 나와 나의 나라에서 멀리 떨어져 있는 동안에는, 그들이 이 땅의 세상과 세상의 재물을 소유하려고 추구하고 이 가운데 그들의 혼을 잊는 동안에는 그들은 내 약속의 성취를 경험하지 못하게 될 것이다. 그들은 스스로 그들 자신을 돌봐야만 한다. 왜냐면 나는 내가 돌보는 일을 하기 위해 나의 나라와 그의 의를 추구하는 일을 조건으로 삼았기 때문이다. 사람이 자신의 혼을 돌보는 일을 다른 모든 일보다 우선에 두고, 나를 추구하고 이로써 모든 아버지의 사랑으로 나에 의해 붙잡힘을 받고, 돌봄을 받게 되면, 모든 사람이 나의 약속이 진리임을 확신할 수 있게 될 것이다.
