God's overflowing love.... How should love for God be like?....

You cannot measure My love which I have for My creatures and which determines Me for everything that happens and what I allow. It is like a mighty hearth of fire, it is like an enormous flame, it is like an ember which consumes everything that comes within its range. And again, My love is gentle and mild, which solicits reciprocal love with all tenderness, which never decreases, which never fails itself, which always and constantly wants to please and gives up nothing that belongs to Me. My love is of such strength that it also achieves everything it wants and is so certain of its success that it does not force anything but waits for the counter-love which is voluntarily given to Me. I want to possess your love, your complete devotion to Me, I want your will which shall turn to Me of its own free will, for then you will also love Me, then I will have won you for eternity. But what should your love for Me be like? How can you recognize that you love Me? If you have a high, holy feeling in your heart towards Him, Whom you do not see and Whom you do not know and yet believe in Him, that He is and you are His creatures. This holy feeling, however, must not only consist of mental excitement, but it must be a silent vow to belong to Him and to be at His will.... it must be a silent vow to work with Me using all strength. Therefore, anyone who makes this vow to Me will also feel drawn to everything that has emerged from My hand from that moment on, for he now has love within himself because he attracts Me Myself through his love, and thus he is also devoted to his fellow human beings.... he feels love for his neighbour which is expressed in unselfish activity for him. And thus he demonstrates love for Me through active neighbourly love, because one emerges from the other. Then My love can also shine upon him, yet only to an extent he can bear, but it will increase immeasurably, for My love knows no limits, just as My living creations' love can and will increase once they have been permeated by My strength of love and have found unity with Me, once they have become My own for eternity....

하나님의 큰 사랑. 하나님을 향한 사랑은 어떠해야 하는가?

너희는 일어나는 모든 일과 내가 허용하는 일을 내가 정하게 하는 나의 피조물에 향해 내가 가진 나의 사랑을 측량할 수 없다. 이 사랑은 거대한 불길과 같고, 화염과 같다. 이 사랑은 그의 영역으로 들어오는 모든 것을 모든 것을 삼키는 불과 같다. 나의 사랑은 동시에 부드럽고 온화하고, 모든 긴밀한 응답하는 사랑을 구한다. 나의 사랑은 절대로 감소하지 않고, 절대로 거부하지 않고, 항상 끊임없이 행복하게 해주기를 원하고, 나에게 속한 존재를 포기하지 않는다. 나의 사랑은 또한 자신이 원하는 모든 것을 성취할 수 있는 힘이 있고, 자신이 성공한다는 것을 아주 확신하여 아무것도 강요하지 않고 자발적으로 나에게 주는 응답하는 사랑을 기다린다. 나는 너희의 사랑을 소유하기 원하고, 너희 자신을 전적으로 나에게 드리기를 원한다. 나는 자유한 가운데 동인이 되어 나에게 향하는 너희의 의지를 원한다. 왜냐면 그러면 너희가 나를 사랑하고, 그러면 내가 너희를 나를 위해 영원히 얻은 것이기 때문이다.

그러나 나를 향한 너희의 사랑이 어떠해야 하느냐? 너희가 나를 사랑한다는 것을 어떻게 아느냐? 너희가 보지 못하고, 알지 못하는 분을 향해 너희 심장 안의 높고 거룩한 느낌을 갖고, 그 분이 존재하는 것을 믿고, 너희가 그의 피조물임을 믿는 일이다. 그러나 이런 거룩한 느낌이 단지 감정적인 흥분이 아니고, 그 분에게 속하고 그 분의 뜻에 따르겠다는 침묵의 서약이 돼야만 하고, 모든 힘을 드려 나와 함께 일하겠다는 침묵의 서약이 돼야만 한다.

그러므로 나에게 이런 서원을 하는 사람은 그 순간부터 내 손에서 나온 모든 것을 향해 자신이 이끌림 받는 것을 느낀다. 왜냐면 그는 이제 자신 안에 사랑을 가지고 있고, 자신의 사랑으로 나를 끌어 들이고, 이로써 이웃사람들에게도 헌신하기 때문이다. 그는 이웃을 향한 사랑을 느끼고, 이런 사랑은 자신의 유익을 구하지 않는 이웃을 위한 역사로 나타난다. 그러므로 그는 이웃을 향한 사랑을 통해 나를 향한 사랑을 증명한다. 왜냐면 한 사랑에서 다른 사랑이 나오기 때문이다. 그러면 내 사랑이 그에게 흘러갈 수 있다. 그러나 내 사랑은 항상 단지 그가 견딜 수 있는 정도까지 증가한다. 그러나 이 정도는 측량할 수 없게 증가할 수 있다. 왜냐면 내 사랑은 한계를 알지 못하고, 마찬가지로 나의 피조물들이 나의 사랑의 힘으로 충만하게 되고, 나와의 연합을 이루고, 그들이 영원히 나에게 속한 사람이 되면, 그들의 사랑도 증가할 수 있고 증가할 것이기 때문이다.
