Food and drink for the soul.... bread of heaven....

The bread of heaven is offered to you which cannot be handed to you more deliciously, for My love Itself has prepared it for you and distributes it to you as it is digestible for you, as you are receptive for the food which shall serve as nourishment for your soul. The fact that you need nourishment to help you mature is something I have to present to you again and again so that you don't neglect to take it in; yet the form in which I administer it to you depends on how you utilize the spiritual nourishment, for whatever you receive you must not let lie idle but use it for your ascent development. You cannot accomplish any work if you lack strength, and thus you must also be strengthened in order to carry out the most important work, the transformation of your soul. And I want to give you this strengthening by offering you the bread of heaven. Your body demands food and drink every day, and you will not deny it what it needs for sustenance. Your soul indeed also admonishes you about it, yet it only quietly and modestly makes the request so that you usually ignore it and neglect the soul in order to provide for the body all the more abundantly. And thus I Myself come to its aid, I want to give it food and drink but need your consent that you turn to the soul, that you therefore also use the gift which comes from above according to its purpose. Then it will constantly receive nourishment and experience strengthening which will do it unspeakable good, through which it will mature and reach the aim set for it during its earthly life. What I offer you from above cannot be replaced by earthly food, just as no food of the body can nourish the soul, for the soul is something spiritual and also requires spiritual substances as nourishment which cannot be supplied to it through earthly food. I Myself must feed it and it can always be My guest, I will never give it meagrely. But I cannot give it anything if the human being desires nothing, if he does not pay attention to a delicious gift from above. And therefore the human being's will is required to accept the nourishment for his soul from My hand. The spiritual nourishment, the bread of heaven, has to be requested, and if the desire for it exists My gift will also be used correctly. I certainly call everyone to My table in order to give him food and drink, yet I demand hunger and thirst so that My gift of love will be received with desire and gratitude and draw strength from the soul so that it can develop spiritually and change into a being which resembles Me, so that I can unite Myself with it and it will be eternally blissful....

Spijs en drank voor de ziel - Hemelbrood

U wordt het brood des hemels aangeboden, dat u niet kostelijker kan worden aangereikt, want mijn liefde zelf heeft het u bereid en deelt het aan u uit, zoals het voor u goed verteerbaar is, zoals u in staat bent de spijs op te nemen die uw ziel tot voeding moet dienen. Dat u voedsel nodig hebt dat u moet helpen rijp te worden, moet Ik u steeds weer bekend maken, opdat u niet zult verzuimen het tot u te nemen. Maar in welke vorm Ik het u aanreik, is afhankelijk van hoe u het geestelijk voedsel benut. Want wat u ook ontvangt zult u niet onbenut mogen laten. Integendeel, u zult het moeten gebruiken voor uw positieve ontwikkeling. Geen arbeid zult u kunnen volbrengen als het u aan kracht ontbreekt. En zo zult u ook gesterkt moeten worden om de belangrijkste arbeid te verrichten: de omvorming van uw ziel. En deze versterking wil Ik u geven, doordat Ik u het brood des hemels aanreik.

Uw lichaam verlangt dagelijks naar spijs en drank en u zult het niet weigeren wat het nodig heeft om zich in stand te houden. Uw ziel maant u weliswaar ook daarom, maar slechts zachtjes en bescheiden richt ze het verlangen tot u, zodat u het meestal niet hoort en de ziel verwaarloost om het lichaam des te rijkelijker te bedenken. En dus kom Ik zelf haar te hulp. Ik wil haar spijs en drank toedienen, maar heb daar uw toestemming voor nodig, dat u zich naar de ziel toekeert, dat u dus de gave die van boven komt ook benut volgens bestemming. Dan zal ze ononderbroken voedsel ontvangen en versterking ondervinden die haar onuitsprekelijk goed doet, waardoor ze rijper wordt en het doel zal bereiken dat haar is gesteld gedurende het leven op aarde.

Wat Ik u aanbied van boven, kan niet door iets aards worden vervangen, zoals ook geen spijs voor het lichaam de ziel kan voeden, want de ziel is iets geestelijks en heeft ook geestelijke substanties nodig als kost, die haar niet door aardse spijzen kunnen worden toegevoerd. Ik zelf moet haar spijzigen en ze kan ook steeds mijn gast zijn, Ik zal haar nooit karig toebedelen. Maar Ik kan haar niets geven als de mens niets begeert, als hij aan een kostelijke gave van boven geen aandacht schenkt. En daarom is de wil van de mens noodzakelijk om uit mijn hand de voeding voor zijn ziel in ontvangst te nemen. Om het geestelijke voedsel, het brood des hemels moet worden gevraagd en als het verlangen ernaar aanwezig is, zal mijn gave ook juist worden benut.

Ik roep wel ieder aan mijn tafel om hem spijs en drank aan te reiken, maar Ik vraag honger en dorst, opdat mijn liefdegave verlangend en in dank wordt ontvangen en de ziel er kracht aan zal ontlenen, opdat ze zich geestelijk kan ontwikkelen en veranderen tot een wezen dat op Mij lijkt, opdat Ik Me met hem aaneen kan sluiten en het eeuwig gelukzalig is.
