The work of God's servants concerning formal believers.... The church of Christ....

Your particular task is to influence the many believers who feel affiliated to the church and yet cannot be regarded as belonging to My church, for they no longer stand on the foundation of faith. They have built their church on sand, which will give way under their feet if their faith is to be tested. They deem themselves devout and also profess with their lips what the church tells them to believe. Nevertheless, they are not deeply convinced of any religious doctrine, they would be unable to completely agree with any one if they seriously had to form an opinion of it. And this conventional faith, which was merely accepted and will not be abandoned for the sake of the outside world is almost worse than unbelief, for an unbelieving person can be provided with explanations in form of discussions, even disputes, whereas the former offers little opportunity of informing him because he will only profess everything again with his lips and yet is far removed from becoming a convinced representative of that which he acknowledges with his mouth. And he will belong to those who fall away when the decision of faith is demanded of him. For only then will he give his opinion about controversial issues and, not having any knowledge and consequently no realisation of the significance and value of a true faith, he will totally ignorantly relinquish that which is most valuable, the faith in Me as Creator of heaven and earth, the faith in Jesus Christ as Redeemer of the world and the faith in the continuation of life after death, which would motivate him to live an appropriately responsible life on earth, which he owes to Me as Father and Judge of eternity. But they will find no mercy before My eyes, for many times they are offered the opportunity to penetrate religious truths and to acquire a living faith, yet they accept no instructions and neither do they openly declare their opposing points of view but only ever leave their fellow human beings under the impression that they belong to the church which I founded on earth as a human being.

I summed up the faithful congregation with the Word 'My church' and will only ever consider those people as belonging to My church who call a living faith their own, for My church is not a worldly organisation, it cannot be externally recognised but is merely the union of believing people on earth, it is My congregation which, although it is small, is extremely dear to Me. The formal believers, however, stand outside the circuit of My flow of love, nevertheless, they can join My congregation at any time when that which they believe themselves to be has become reality, when they own a living faith and are very happy with possessing it. And a sign of a living faith is the fact that they gladly speak about divine matters, that they look for and enthusiastically hold spiritual conversations and that they provide clarifications where their fellow human beings are still in the dark. For once someone belongs to My church he will also appreciate My treasures, he will know about the significance of the time and the approaching end. He will remain loyal to My church for there is nothing left on earth that would be desirable for him. The living faith has opened this knowledge up for him, and he knows the alarming ramifications of a conventional faith, of the soul's fate in the beyond, subsequently he will do whatever it takes to draw people's attention to the danger they are in; he will try to make them understand it so that they will still be able to gain a living faith in the last hour. But whether it is successful entirely depends on the human being's will, the freedom of which shall not be curtailed if the soul is to ascend. And yet it is your task to influence the formal believers as much as possible since they are, after all, in greatest danger and are therefore in need of help because they lack realisation, and wherever help is necessary it shall be given, so that no-one can say that the blessings of divine mercy had bypassed him.... I want to help all people, but whether My help is accepted is determined by people themselves, and I let them keep their freedom....

Le travail des domestiques de Dieu sur les croyants formels – l'Église du Christ

Votre travail particulier est d'agir sur les nombreux croyants qui se considèrent comme appartenant à l'église mais qui ne sont pas de toute façon à compter dans Mon Église, parce qu'ils ne sont plus sur les bases de la foi. Ils ont édifié leur église sur du sable qui s'émiette sous leurs pieds lorsque la foi doit être mise à l'épreuve. Ils se croient croyants et confesse même avec la bouche tout ce que l'église leur prescrit de croire. Malgré cela aucune doctrine de foi n’est devenue en eux une conviction très profonde, ils ne pourraient être complètement d’accord avec personne s’ils devaient prendre sérieusement position. Et cette foi formelle, qui a été seulement acceptée et ne sera pas laissée de coté vis-à-vis du monde extérieur, est presque encore plus grave qu'une incrédulité, parce qu'à un homme qui ne croit pas il peut être donné un éclaircissement sous forme de débats, même si c’est d’une manière litigieuse, tandis que dans le premier cas il existe peu d'occasion de l'instruire, parce qu’il professe tout seulement avec la bouche et est de toute façon très loin d'être un représentant convaincu de ce qu’il professe avec la bouche. Et il fera partie de ceux qui tombent lorsqu’il est exigé d’eux la décision de foi. Parce que seulement maintenant il prend position envers des questions épineuses et il n'aura aucune connaissance et il ne reconnaîtra pas la signification et la valeur de la juste foi et renoncera par ignorance à la chose la plus précieuse, la foi en Moi comme Créateur du Ciel et de la Terre, la foi en Jésus Christ comme Rédempteur du monde et la foi dans une continuation de la vie après la mort, qui le pousserait à mener sa vie sur la Terre en reconnaissant la responsabilité qu'il Me doit comme Père et Juge de l'Éternité. Mais ils ne trouveront aucune Grâce à Mes Yeux, parce qu'à eux il leur a été offert très souvent l'occasion de pénétrer dans les Vérités de la foi et d’acquérir une foi vivante, mais ils n'acceptent aucune instruction et ils ne déclarent pas ouvertement leurs points de vue contraires, mais ils laissent toujours seulement le prochain dans la croyance qu’ils appartiennent eux-mêmes à l'église que J'ai fondée en tant qu’Homme sur la Terre. J'ai regroupé les communautés croyantes dans le Mot « Mon Église » et Je considère toujours seulement que les hommes qui appartiennent à Mon Église, sont ceux qui montrent une foi vivante, parce que Mon Église n'est pas une organisation mondaine, elle n’est pas rendue reconnaissable de l'extérieur, mais elle est simplement l'union d'hommes croyants sur la Terre, elle est Ma Communauté, qui est certes petite, mais que J’aime beaucoup. Mais les croyants formels sont à l'extérieur de l'Enceinte de Mon Courant d'Amour, toutefois ils peuvent s’insérer à tout instant dans Ma Communauté, de sorte que ce qu'ils croient être devienne une réalité lorsqu’ils possèdent une foi vivante et ils sont bienheureux de la posséder. Cela est un signe de la foi vivante, car ils parlent avec joie de choses divines, ils cherchent les conversations spirituelles et ils les tiennent plein de ferveur et ils donnent des éclaircissements là où le prochain marche dans l'obscurité. Parce que celui qui a appartenu une fois à Mon Église, sait aussi être digne de Mes Trésors, il connaît la signification du temps et de la fin prochaine. Il restera fidèle à Mon Église, parce que pour lui il n’existe plus rien sur la Terre qui soit plus désirable. La foi vivante lui a ouvert ce savoir, et il connaît même l'effet épouvantable de la foi formelle, du sort de l'âme dans l'au-delà, et il fera même tout pour attirer l’attention des hommes sur le danger dans lequel ils se trouvent ; il cherchera à le leur rendre compréhensible, pour qu'ils puissent arriver à la foi vivante foi encore dans la dernière heure. Mais s’il y réussit ou non dépend simplement de la volonté de l'homme dont la liberté n'est pas limitée, si l'âme doit se développer vers le Haut. Et il est de votre tâche, d'agir le plus possible sur les croyants formels, vu qu’ils se trouvent dans le plus grand danger, et donc ils ont besoin d'aide, parce qu'à eux il manque la connaissance et là où il y en a besoin, l'aide doit être donnée, pour que personne ne puisse dire que les Grâces de la Miséricorde divine soient passées loin de lui. Je veux aider tous les hommes, mais les hommes eux-mêmes déterminent si Mon Aide est acceptée, et Je leur en laisse la liberté.
