Unification of the soul with the spirit....

It is an extremely significant process when the human being's soul unites with the spirit within it, for then the turning point has, so to speak, occurred; the material existence has been overcome even though the human being still dwells on earth, and the spiritual world is predominant for the last part of his earthly change. The soul can now accept every manifestation of the spirit, it is able to understand it, and it uses its ability in the most extensive way.... It allows itself to be taught and thus enters the state of knowledge. The spirit in the human being is constantly anxious to impart the richest knowledge to the soul in areas which are otherwise closed to the soul and which it can only enter with the help of the spirit. However, every material bondage is an obstacle in order to attain this knowledge, consequently the soul must first have overcome matter, for the soul's unification with the spirit is a purely spiritual process which does not tolerate any earthly bondage. Matter has such an effect on the soul that it is incapable of hearing the voice of the spirit within itself. The soul has to be completely detached from matter and completely abandon itself to the spirit within itself, it has to surrender itself completely without resistance to its strength, which now becomes effective in it as strength from God. And thus the soul is guided into knowledge, divine wisdom is imparted to it because the spiritual spark in it is part of the divine spirit, whose gifts are of highest value and which therefore must help the soul to perfection. The soul will now be educated according to divine plan, it will be introduced to knowledge which signifies spiritual progress for it..... For the more the soul stands in knowledge the freer it becomes and the more able it is to utilize this knowledge. And thus it now engages in love by passing this knowledge on to its fellow human beings. Knowledge which the human being receives from his fellow human being first has to be tested for its truthfulness, knowledge, however, which the human being draws from himself, which the spirit in him has imparted to his soul, carries the unconditional truth within itself, and the soul feels this and therefore represents such knowledge full of conviction. And this knowledge will also not remain without impression on fellow human beings, because it is presented full of conviction and fully comprehensible to everyone, because it carries truth within itself and this also captivates the fellow human being as soon as he seriously desires truth. And this is why the unification of the soul with its spirit is so significant, because it not only helps one person to the truth and thus to maturity but has a beneficial effect on wide circles, because the truth breaks through and is also recognized as such by people who strive for it again but have not yet established the unification of their soul with the spirit themselves. However, this unification will not be difficult for them as soon as they have the serious will to do so, and this will is stimulated again by truthful instructions from a person whose spirit is awakened....

Unificación del alma con el espíritu....

Es un proceso extremadamente significativo cuando el alma humana se unifique con el espíritu dentro de ella, porque entonces, por así decirlo, se ha producido el cambio; la existencia material ha sido superada, aunque el ser humano todavía vive en la Tierra y el mundo espiritual domina durante la última parte de su vida terrenal. El alma ahora puede aceptar cada expresión del espíritu, es capaz de comprenderla y utiliza sus capacidades del modo más amplio.... Se deja enseñar y entra así en el estado de conocimiento. El espíritu en el humano se preocupa constantemente por transmitir al alma el conocimiento más rico en áreas que normalmente están cerradas al alma y a las que sólo puede acceder con la ayuda del espíritu.

Pero cada grillete material es un obstáculo para llegar a este conocimiento. En consecuencia, el alma debe haber superado primero la materia, porque la unificación del alma con el espíritu es un proceso puramente espiritual que no puede tolerar ningún vínculo terrenal. La materia ejerce tal efecto sobre el alma que ésta es incapaz de oír la voz del espíritu dentro de sí misma. El alma debe estar completamente separada de la materia y entregarse enteramente al espíritu dentro de sí misma; debe entregarse completamente sin resistencia a su poder, que ahora como fuerza de Dios se hace eficaz en ella. Y entones el alma será guiada al conocimiento, se le impartirá la sabiduría divina, porque la chispa espiritual que hay en ella es parte del Espíritu divino, cuyos dones son del más alto valor y que, por tanto, deben ayudar al alma a lograr la perfección.

El alma ahora es instruida según el plan divino, se le introduce en un conocimiento que significa para ella progreso espiritual.... Porque cuanto más se encuentra el alma en la cognición, más libre se vuelve y más capaz es de utilizar este conocimiento. Y por eso ahora actúa en amor transmitiendo este conocimiento a sus semejantes. El conocimiento que un ser humano recibe de sus semejantes primero debe ser examinado para determinar su veracidad, mientras que el conocimiento que un ser humano obtiene de sí mismo, que el espíritu dentro de él ha impartido a su alma, lleva dentro de sí la verdad incondicional y la siente el alma y, por lo tanto, representa tal conocimiento con plena convicción. Y este conocimiento no dejará de impresionar a los demás, porque se presenta con plena convicción y es perfectamente comprensible para todos, porque lleva la verdad en sí mismo y ésta también impresiona al semejante, si realmente desea la verdad.

Y por eso la unificación del alma con el espíritu es tan significante, porque no sólo ayuda a un ser humano a alcanzar la verdad, es decir, a la madurez, sino que también tiene un efecto beneficioso en círculos amplios, porque la verdad se abre paso y también es reconocida como tal por humanos que se esfuerzan nuevamente por ella. Pero quienes aún no han establecido la unificación de su alma con el espíritu. Pero esta unificación no les resulta difícil siempre que tengan la voluntad seria al respecto, y esta voluntad nuevamente es estimulada por instrucciones veraces de un humano cuyo espíritu ya haya sido despertado....
