"Be not only hearers, but also doers of My word...."

An essential difference exists between those who are united with Me in living faith and the formal believers, who certainly also belong to My church according to the word but not in their spirit, for they do not know what the connection between their spirit and My spirit is all about. They live in the belief that they are fulfilling their duty when they hear My word, yet they have not yet tried to live out My word in such a way that it results in a spiritual bond with Me. Their will is not strong enough to be active themselves and hearing My word alone does not bring about this connection with Me. The sign that they have allowed My word to have an effect on their heart must be an act of love, and with this act of love they also draw Me Myself to themselves, and only then is their faith alive.... But people can profess the church and yet their faith is dead if it is not followed by works. And these also only hear My word, which is directly conveyed to earth, with their ears and do not allow themselves to take it to heart. They only want to receive My word where it is offered to them from time immemorial. They do not fully accept it if it is conveyed to them in any other way because they have not yet penetrated the essence of the word, because they do not know that it is only the result of a living faith, of an intimate bond with Me. And they cannot receive this knowledge through external mediation of the word but through life according to the word, which can indeed be offered to them everywhere but which first has to gain life through the will of the person himself. The formal believers lack this knowledge and they will not accept it from the hand of someone who is effectively outside their church either; but they will also never muster the extraordinary strength to stand firm in the forthcoming battle of faith, they will lack the strength which the living word provides them with.... the strength to persevere which only arises from the living bond with Me. And the formal believer will never stand in convinced faith but only call the traditional faith his own, the faith which he has adopted through teachings and which he does not want to give up due to tradition, but without being able to stand up for it deep in his heart, because this is the privilege of those who hear My word within themselves, audibly or mentally through their will to be active accordingly. "Be not only hearers but also doers of My word...." I must repeatedly call out this to everyone, for it depends on it whether your faith is alive or merely a dead form which will not suffice in the days of battle against Me. And therefore let My word have an effect on you, ponder it in your heart and act accordingly so that it will be a blessing for you, so that your spirit will awaken and impel you to ever more eager activity, from which you will then gain the strength to hear Me Myself in you and to persevere until the end....

«Ne soyez pas seulement des auditeurs, mais des partisans de Ma Parole....»

Il y a une différence considérable entre ceux qui sont unis avec Moi dans une foi vivante et les croyants formels qui appartiennent certes aussi à Mon Église selon le mot, mais pas dans leur esprit, parce qu'ils ne savent pas ce qu'est la liaison de leur esprit avec Mon Esprit. Ils vivent dans la croyance de satisfaire leur devoir lorsqu’ils écoutent Ma Parole, mais ils n'ont pas cherché à vivre Ma Parole jusqu'au bout afin de permettre la liaison spirituelle avec Moi. Leur volonté n'est pas assez forte pour être active sur eux-mêmes, or le fait de seulement écouter Ma Parole ne procure pas cette liaison avec Moi. Des Actions d'amour doivent être un signe qui montre qu’ils laissent agir Ma Parole sur leur cœur et celui-ci suscite des actions d'amour qui M'attirent à lui, et seulement alors leur foi est vivante. Les hommes peuvent certes se déclarer à l'église mais leur foi est de toute façon morte si elle n’est pas suivie par des œuvres. Ceux-ci entendent seulement avec les oreilles Ma Parole guidée directement à la Terre mais ils ne la laissent pas arriver au cœur. Ils veulent accueillir Ma Parole seulement là où elle leur est offerte depuis des temps anciens. Ils ne la laissent pas valoir pleinement si elle leur est transmise autrement, parce qu’ils ne sont pas encore pénétrés par l’essence de Ma Parole, parce qu'ils ne savent pas que seulement cela est la conséquence d'une foi vivante, d'une intime liaison avec Moi. Et ils ne peuvent pas recevoir ce savoir à travers la transmission extérieure de la Parole, mais seulement à travers la vie selon la Parole qui peut leur être offerte partout, mais ils doivent d'abord conquérir la Vie à travers la volonté de l'homme lui-même. Aux croyants formels il manque ce savoir et ils ne l'accueillent pas de la main de ceux qui sont dans leur église ; ainsi ils n'auront jamais la Force extraordinaire nécessaire pour résister dans la lutte contre la foi qui arrive, à eux il manquera la Force que la Parole vécue leur guiderait, la Force de la persévérance qui se lève seulement de la liaison vivante avec Moi. Et le croyant formel ne sera jamais avec une foi convaincue, mais il appellera foi la foi traditionnelle, la foi qu’il a acceptée à travers des enseignements et auxquels par tradition il ne veut pas renoncer, sans cependant l'affirmer profondément dans le cœur, parce que cela est le privilège de ceux qui entendent en eux Ma Parole, de façon audible ou mentalement à travers leur volonté d'être actif selon celle-ci. «Ne soyez pas seulement des auditeurs, mais des partisans de Ma Parole....» Je dois de nouveau le redire à tous, parce qu'il dépend de cela que votre foi soit vivante ou bien seulement une formalité morte qui ne suffira pas le jour de la lutte contre Moi. Donc laissez agir sur vous Ma Parole, soupesez-la dans le cœur et agissez en conséquence, pour qu'il y ait une Bénédiction, pour que votre esprit se réveille et qu’il vous pousse à une activité toujours plus fervente, ensuite il se lèvera en vous la Force de M’entendre en vous et de tenir bon jusqu'à la fin.
