"Come to Me, all of you...." promise of Jesus....

Seek strength from God when you are weary and burdened. He has also given you this promise, that He will refresh you if you take refuge in Him and bring all your troubles to His heart. He is the comforter of all who are afflicted, the father of all orphans, He is your friend and brother and helper in every need. "Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest...." His words are comforting if only you have deep faith. And whatever hardship you find yourselves in, you know of one Who will help you carry it, Who is always ready to take it off your hands as soon as you believe in Him. People's earthly life would be much easier if they kept Jesus' promise, yet they usually lack faith or they would trustingly present all their worries to Him and ask Him for help. How little you use the power of prayer and how little you make use of the grace of the divine promise. Everything that weighs you down loses its significance as soon as you lay it on His heart so that He may help you carry it. And He will not leave your prayer unanswered, for His words are truth: "I will refresh you...." He will give you the strength, whatever comes upon you, so that you can master everything and your heart will become free and light. Yet as long as a person lacks trust in His willingness to help, in His love, which God bestows upon all the oppressed and afflicted, he will not come before Him in prayer and obtain the strength God has promised him. And his path on earth is much more difficult and painful. He does not seek contact with God, Who alone can help him in every need, and Jesus' promise can never be fulfilled in him....

“Venite tutti a Me.... ” La Promessa di Gesù

Richiedete la Forza da Dio se siete stanchi ed aggravati. Egli vi ha dato anche questa Promessa, che vi vuole ristorare se vi rifugiate in Lui e Gli mettete al Cuore tutte le vostre preoccupazioni. Egli E’ il Consolatore di tutti gli afflitti, il Padre di tutti gli orfani, Egli E’ il vostro Amico e Fratello ed Aiutante in ogni miseria. “Venite tutti a Me che siete stanchi ed aggravati, vi voglio ristorare.... ” Le Sue Parole sono confortanti se siete solo profondamente credenti. Ed in qualunque miseria vi trovate, sapete dell’Uno, il Quale vi aiuta a portarla, il Quale E’ sempre pronto a togliervela, appena credete in Lui. Per gli uomini la vita terrena sarebbe molto più facile se si attenessero alla Promessa di Gesù, ma a loro manca quasi sempre la fede, altrimenti Gli affiderebbero fiduciosi tutte le preoccupazioni e Gli chiederebbero l’Aiuto. Quanto poco usate la Forza della preghiera e quanto poco approfittate della Grazia della Promessa divina! Tutto ciò che vi preme perde di importanza, appena lo mettete al Suo Cuore, affinché Egli vi aiuti a portarlo. Ed Egli non lascerà inudita la vostra preghiera, perché le Sue Parole sono Verità: “Vi voglio ristorare.... ” Egli vi darà la Forza, qualunque cosa venga su di voi, affinché lo possiate affrontare ed il vostro cuore diventi libero e leggero. Ma finché all’uomo manca la fiducia nella Sua Disponibilità d’Aiuto, nel Suo Amore che Dio rivolge a tutti gli oppressi ed afflitti, non Gli si presenta nemmeno nella preghiera per cogliere la Forza che Dio gli ha promesso. E la sua via terrena è molto più difficile e più sofferta. Non cerca nessun collegamento con Dio, il Quale unicamente lo può aiutare in ogni miseria e su di lui non si può mai adempiere la Promessa di Gesù.
