The work of the adversary and its binding....

The adversary works against God in many ways, and in many ways he tries to undermine Christ's teaching of love. He sows hatred and discord wherever the ground is suitable, and he uses every opportunity to incite people against each other and to encourage them in unkindness. For he seeks to supplant God; he seeks to fragment all good and slowly turn it into evil; he seeks to eradicate all sense of truth and to spread views among humanity which are completely opposed to Jesus Christ's teaching of love. And thus he tries to displace Jesus Christ Himself, for the knowledge of the greatest bearer of truth on earth will also be taken away from humanity along with the truth, and this is what God's adversary aims to achieve, for then people will also lose the blessings of the act of salvation as soon as the human being no longer knows about it and therefore no longer consciously desires the grace of it. But Jesus Christ has to be acknowledged as the son of God and redeemer of the world, only then can He bestow the blessings of His act of salvation upon people, and only then is it possible for him to become free from the power of God's adversary. Yet people's will itself gives the adversary this excessive power, for if people were to defend themselves, if they wanted to give their will to God, the adversary's power would be broken and the knowledge of the act of salvation and faith in it could not be taken away from people who strive towards God. Nevertheless, God likewise allows His strength to flow to earth so that people will be able to recognize the adversary's activity and resist him. And thus there is a battle between the good and the evil spiritual world, it is a constant struggle to gain influence over people's thinking and to lead them onto the right path. For only when a person's thinking is right will he recognize the truth and desire it. Yet the good forces have little success.... people are devoid of all love. Consequently, God's adversary has an easy time winning them over and they yield to his influence without resistance.... And thus they deprive themselves of all faith and all grace because their will is prepared to deny the greatest work of love, since they themselves are incapable of practicing love and therefore cannot grasp Christ's work of love either. And thus countless people will fall victim to the adversary's activities....

But God, in His infinite love and mercy, will only tolerate his activities to a certain extent, for as soon as his actions are directed against God Himself, as soon as, due to his influence, open action is taken against every person who still recognizes Jesus Christ, this is an open battle against God which He will not leave unhonoured. For now it will be an unequal battle in that the human being will no longer be left free to decide for God or for His adversary but will have no choice but to unreservedly confess God's adversary.... People are forced to surrender their faith, but only those who still want to hold on to it, for the others have already voluntarily surrendered their faith beforehand. Yet God will never allow His adversary to gain the power to oust Him, and His final intervention will take away all power and strength.... But before He binds him He stands by the believers in an extraordinary way, because for the sake of the unbelievers the fierce battle for faith has to break out, because they are to recognize the power of faith and because the extraordinary work of the believers can still lead them back to faith if they are not completely in the power of the adversary. But in the end it will become unbearable for the believers whom satan tries to force to be in bondage to him. And then the hour will have come that his power will break.... that God will put an end to his activities, that He will humiliate him and snatch all power out of his hands.... And all those who paid homage to him will be powerless, powerless they will be exposed to the hand of God, who now judges and separates the spirits from each other, who completely destroys everything that has not fought under His banner and rewards the few who have surrendered to Him, as He has promised. And no matter how much the adversary rages beforehand, the hour will come when his goings-on will come to an end and this hour is not far away. And by this you will recognize the end, that satan rages without mercy, that he incites people against each other, that he gives them thoughts which testify to unheard-of cruelty and unkindness, and that he will determine them to tear each other apart. Then the world will also be ripe for destruction, i.e. the earth and everything existing on it will be reshaped and destroyed by God's will after God has fetched the people who are loyal to Him to Himself so that they will be snatched away from satan's power....

La actividad del adversario y sus grilletes....

El adversario trabaja contra Dios de muchas formas y de muchas maneras intenta socavar la enseñanza de amor de Cristo. Siembra el odio y la discordia dondequiera que el terreno sea propicio, y aprovecha cualquier oportunidad para incitar a las personas unas contra otras y para alentarlas a la falta de amabilidad. Porque busca desplazar a Dios; busca fragmentar todo lo que es bueno y transformarlo lentamente en malo; busca erradicar todo sentimiento por la verdad y difundir opiniones entre la humanidad que están completamente en contra de la enseñanza de amor de Jesucristo. Y así busca desplazar a Jesucristo mismo pues, al privarla de la verdad, la humanidad también se verá privada del conocimiento del mayor portador de la verdad en la tierra, y este es el propósito del adversario de Dios, pues entonces la gente también perderá las bendiciones del acto de Salvación en cuanto el ser humano ya no lo conozca y por lo tanto no desee conscientemente su gracia. Pero Jesucristo debe ser reconocido como el Hijo de Dios y Redentor del mundo, sólo entonces puede otorgar las bendiciones de Su acto de Salvación a las personas, y sólo entonces es posible que estas se liberen del poder del adversario de Dios. Sin embargo, la voluntad de las mismas personas es lo que le da al adversario este poder excesivo, ya que si las personas se defendieran, si quisieran entregar su voluntad a Dios, el poder del adversario se rompería. Incluso el conocimiento del acto de Salvación y la fe en él no podrían ser arrebatados a las personas que se esfuerzan hacia Dios. Sin embargo, Dios deja igualmente que su fuerza fluya a la tierra para que la gente sea capaz de reconocer la actividad del adversario y resistirle. Y así hay una batalla entre el mundo espiritual bueno y el malo. El ganar influencia sobre el pensamiento de las personas para guiarlas hacia el camino correcto es una lucha constante. Porque sólo cuando el pensamiento de las personas es correcto, reconocen la verdad y la desean. Pero las fuerzas buenas tienen poco éxito.... la gente está desprovista de todo amor. Así, el adversario de Dios tiene un juego fácil para ganárselos y ellos ceden a su influencia sin resistencia.... Y así se despojan de toda fe y gracia porque su voluntad está dispuesta a negar la mayor obra de amor, ya que ellos mismos son incapaces de practicar el amor y, por tanto, tampoco pueden captar ni entender la obra de amor de Cristo. Y así, innumerables personas caerán presas de la actividad del adversario....

Sin embargo, Dios, en su infinito amor y misericordia, sólo tolerará sus acciones hasta cierto punto, pues en cuanto sus acciones se dirijan hacia Dios mismo, en cuanto, debido a su influencia, se actúe abiertamente contra toda persona que aún reconozca a Jesucristo, esto es una batalla abierta contra Dios que Él no dejará sin retribución. Porque ahora será una batalla desigual en la que el ser humano ya no será libre de decidirse por Dios o por su adversario, sino que ya no tendrá más remedio que profesar abiertamente su apoyo al adversario de Dios..... La gente se verá obligada a renunciar a su fe, aunque sólo los que aún quieran aferrarse a ella, pues los demás ya renunciarán voluntariamente a su fe de antemano. Sin embargo, Dios nunca dejará que su adversario obtenga el poder para desplazarlo, y su intervención final le quitará todo su poder y toda su fuerza.... Pero antes de atarlo, apoyará excepcionalmente al pueblo creyente, porque la feroz batalla por la fe tiene que estallar por el bien de los incrédulos, porque podrán reconocer la fuerza de la fe y porque la actividad excepcional de los creyentes aún puede llevarlos de vuelta a la fe si no están completamente bajo el control del adversario. Pero al final se hará insoportable para los creyentes a los que Satanás intenta obligar a estar en esclavitud con él. Y entonces habrá llegado la hora de que su poder se rompa.... para que Dios ponga fin a su actividad, para que lo humille y le arrebate todo el poder de las manos.... Y todos los que le rindieron homenaje serán impotentes, impotentes serán abandonados a la mano de Dios, que ahora separa a los espíritus entre sí, que destruye por completo todo lo que no luchó bajo su bandera y recompensa a los pocos que son devotos de Él, tal como ha prometido. Y por mucho que el adversario se enfurezca de antemano, llegará la hora en que se pondrá fin a su actividad, y esta hora ya no está lejos. Y con esto reconocerás el final, que Satanás se ensaña sin piedad, que incita a las personas unas contra otras, que les da pensamientos que atestiguan una crueldad y una falta de amabilidad inauditas, y que las determinará a destrozarse unas a otras. Entonces el mundo también estará maduro para la destrucción, es decir, la tierra y todo lo que existe en ella será remodelado y destruido por la voluntad de Dios después de que Dios haya recogido a las personas leales a Él para que sean arrebatadas del poder de Satanás....
