Belief in the workings of spiritual forces.... living on....

In order to be able to establish a connection with the spiritual forces, the human being must also believe in their existence, he must first recognize them before he can establish contact with them. And this includes first of all the belief in the survival of the soul. The soul was also decisive on earth that power flowed to man, therefore the soul must also be able to be a receiver of power in the hereafter, according to the degree of its perfection. This belief precedes the working of the spiritual forces, for only where the human being is convinced of it can these forces appear, for only then does the human being connect with these forces in thought and they can then express themselves. However, it is very difficult to provide people with proof of this working as long as they themselves are still not very spiritually minded. And that is why they will rarely make the attempt themselves to ask those spiritual beings for their emanation of strength and transmission. Until the belief is deep that such is possible they will not establish the connection. And the doctrine of the 'resting of the dead', which questions all activity of souls in the beyond and therefore also denies spiritual activity, contributes considerably to this unbelief. This is such an erroneous doctrine that has detrimental consequences of the greatest importance.... The spirit can never rest, it can remain unawakened as long as it does not sense any activity of love in the human being's soul which enables it to work. And likewise, the spirit will be constantly active in the beyond as soon as it has acquired the right to do so on earth or in the beyond. And the knowledge about the work of redemption, which continues in the beyond, is also the explanation for the tireless activity of the souls, whose degree of maturity is high. The human being has to be given the knowledge that he can believe in the working of those souls, and again, the imparting of this knowledge from the spiritual kingdom is only the result of faith in the working of spiritual forces. But God accommodates people by letting this knowledge be imparted to them through a willing person in whom the working of those spiritual forces becomes evident.... He informs them of it so that they can now establish the connection themselves as soon as they allow themselves to be convinced of it. Everyone can test it himself, and if he seriously endeavours to fulfil the preconditions which entail the working of those powers he will have great success for his soul....

Glaube an das Wirken geistiger Kräfte.... Fortleben....

Um die Verbindung anknüpfen zu können mit den geistigen Kräften, muß der Mensch auch an deren Vorhandensein glauben, er muß sie erst anerkennen, ehe er den Kontakt mit ihnen herstellen kann. Und dazu gehört als erstes der Glaube an ein Fortleben der Seele. Es ist die Seele auch auf Erden bestimmend gewesen dafür, daß dem Menschen Kraft zufloß, also muß auch die Seele im Jenseits Kraftempfänger sein können, je nach dem Grade ihrer Vollkommenheit. Dieser Glaube geht dem Wirken der geistigen Kräfte voran, denn nur, wo der Mensch davon überzeugt ist, können diese Kräfte in Erscheinung treten, denn nur dann verbindet sich der Mensch in Gedanken mit jenen Kräften, und diese können sich nun äußern. Es ist aber sehr schwer, den Menschen den Beweis dieses Wirkens zu erbringen, solange sie selbst noch wenig geistig eingestellt sind. Und darum werden sie auch selten selbst den Versuch machen, jene geistigen Wesen um ihre Kraftausstrahlung und Überleitung zu bitten. Bevor nicht der Glaube tief ist, daß solches möglich ist, stellen sie nicht die Verbindung her. Und es trägt zu diesem Unglauben noch erheblich die Lehre von dem "Ruhen der Toten" bei, die jegliche Tätigkeit der Seelen im Jenseits in Frage stellt und also auch geistiges Wirken verneint. Es ist dies eine so irrige Lehre, die nachteilige Folgen hat von größter Bedeutung.... Der Geist kann niemals ruhen, er kann unerweckt verharren, solange er in der Seele des Menschen keine Liebetätigkeit dessen verspürt, die ihm sein Wirken ermöglicht. Und ebenso wird im Jenseits der Geist unentwegt tätig sein, sowie er das Recht dazu sich erworben hat auf Erden oder im Jenseits. Und das Wissen um das Erlösungswerk, das im Jenseits seinen Fortgang nimmt, ist auch Erklärung für das unermüdliche Wirken der Seelen, deren Reifegrad ein hoher ist. Es muß dem Menschen ein Wissen nahegebracht werden, daß er das Wirken jener Seelen glauben kann, und wiederum ist das Vermitteln dieses Wissens aus dem geistigen Reich erst die Folge des Glaubens an das Wirken geistiger Kräfte. Gott aber kommt den Menschen entgegen, indem Er ihnen dieses Wissen durch einen willigen Menschen vermitteln läßt, an dem das Wirken jener Geisteskräfte offenbar wird.... Er gibt ihnen davon Kenntnis, auf daß sie selbst nun die Verbindung herstellen können, sowie sie sich davon überzeugen lassen. Es kann jeder selbst an sich die Probe machen, und so er ernstlich bemüht ist, die Vorbedingungen zu erfüllen, die das Wirken jener Kräfte nach sich ziehen, wird er großen Erfolg haben für seine Seele....
