Becoming and passing away.... death.... entry into the spiritual realm....

Life and death, becoming and passing away.... is the eternal cycle according to God's wise plan. Only the spiritually enlightened person realizes the great mystery that finds its solution in this eternal cycle. What is must pass away in order to become again, and again and again things are formed anew, because an eternal existence in the material world is not possible. And what is must pass away because it is still imperfect, and it must arise again in order to become more perfect. For only the outer shell disintegrates, but what the shell harbours is spiritual, i.e. imperishable, which escapes the shell in order to enliven a new shell. And this spiritual must become perfect.... This is the basis of all becoming and passing away. And that is why nothing in the material world can remain unchanged, for it harbours nothing perfect within itself, since it only came into being in order to offer the imperfect the opportunity to become perfect. Once the spiritual has reached the degree of perfection, it can leave the material world, the earth, and enter the spiritual realm. Becoming and passing away is therefore necessary for the higher development of the spiritual, and that is why all passing away should be welcomed and all becoming and arising should make people happy.... The passing away of every form means an overcoming of it for the spiritual hidden within, and overcoming is victory.... If the human being has come to this realization then nothing frightens him anymore, then he also only sees death as a bridge into the spiritual kingdom. For now the spiritual, the soul, leaves its last shell in order to be able to enter the spiritual kingdom carefree. But one thing must have preceded.... a conscious striving for spiritual maturity during life on earth. As soon as man's gaze is directed upwards, as soon as he knows the meaning and purpose of embodiment on earth, he consciously strives upwards. He wants to become perfect as soon as he has recognized God and knows about his outcome and his goal. And for him death means overcoming the last form on earth, from which the soul now finally escapes and therefore also from the material world. The shell passes away, but the spiritual awakens to new life, to a life that lasts forever.... (17.11.1942) But people can also lead a life unconscious of the purpose, and this through their own fault.... as soon as they value matter too highly and thereby stifle every spiritual thought within themselves which would make them realize their actual task on earth. Then they no longer use their last external form for the purpose of maturing the soul. And then death is the end of their development on earth, and the upward development in all other works of creation comes to a standstill in this last phase of earthly life, a standstill occurs in the development.... And then the entry into the spiritual kingdom is not an awakening to eternal life but a state of death, a state of lifelessness is the soul's fate from now on. Becoming and passing away on earth has come to an end for this spiritual being, it has gone through all stages in always constant higher development, but in the stage as man it has failed; it has interrupted the development itself because this stage had given it free will and man abused free will. And then, understandably, entry into the spiritual kingdom must mean great torment and disappointment for him, for only the perfect is entitled to eternal bliss....

Il divenire e lo scomparire - La morte - L’entrata nel Regno spirituale

Vivere e morire, divenire e scomparire, questa è l’eterna circolazione secondo il saggio Piano di Dio. Solo all’uomo illuminato spiritualmente diventa chiaro il grande Mistero che trova la sua soluzione in questa eterna circolazione. Ciò che è, deve scomparire, per divenire di nuovo, e sempre di nuovo si formano nuovamente delle cose, perché una eterna esistenza nel mondo materiale è impossibile. Quello che è, deve scomparire, perché è ancora imperfetto e deve di nuovo risorgere per diventare perfetto. Perchè decade solamente l’involucro esterno, ma ciò che cela l’involucro è spirituale, cioè imperituro, che sfugge all’involucro per vivificare un nuovo involucro. E questo spirituale deve diventare perfetto. Questo è alla base di ogni divenire e scomparire. Perciò nulla può rimanere invariato nel mondo materiale, perché questo cela in sé nulla di perfetto, dato che è sorto solamente per dare all’imperfetto la possibilità di diventare perfetto. Se lo spirituale ha raggiunto il grado di perfezione, allora può abbandonare il mondo materiale, la Terra, ed entrare nel Regno spirituale Il divenire e lo scomparire è quindi necessario per lo sviluppo verso l’Alto dello spirituale e perciò ogni scomparire dev’essere salutato e tutto il divenire e sorgere deve rendere felici gli uomini. Lo scomparire di ogni forma significa un superamento di questa per lo spirituale che cela in sé, e superamento è vittoria. Se l’uomo è giunto a questa conoscenza, allora non si spaventa più, allora vede la morte anche soltanto come ponte nel Regno spirituale, perché ora lo spirituale, l’anima, lascia il suo ultimo involucro per poter entrare sgravata nel Regno spirituale. Ma una cosa dev’essere preceduta, un cosciente tendere alla maturità animica durante la vita terrena. Appena lo sguardo dell’uomo è rivolto in Alto, appena sa del senso e dello scopo dell’incorporazione sulla Terra, egli tende coscientemente verso l’Alto. Vuole diventare perfetto, appena ha riconosciuto Dio e sà della sua Origine e della sua meta. E per lui la morte significa un superamento dell’ultima forma sulla Terra, alla quale l’anima ora sfugge definitivamente e così anche al mondo materiale. L’involucro scompare, ma lo spirituale si risveglia a nuova Vita, ad una Vita che dura in eterno. Ma gli uomini possono anche condurre una vita ignari dello scopo e questo per propria colpa, appena valutano troppo alta la materia e con ciò soffocano ogni pensiero spirituale che li farebbe rendere conto del loro vero compito sulla Terra. Allora non usano più la loro ultima forma esteriore per lo scopo della maturazione dell’anima. Ed allora la morte è la fine del loro cammino del divenire sulla Terra e lo sviluppo verso l’Alto in tutte le altre Opere di Creazione sperimenta un arresto in questa ultima fase terrena, subentra uno stare fermo nello sviluppo. Allora l’entrata nel Regno spirituale non è un risveglio alla Vita eterna, ma uno stato di morte, l’oramai sorte dell’anima è uno stato di assenza di Vita. Il divenire e lo scomparire sulla Terra ha trovato una fine per questo spirituale, ha percorso tutti gli stadi nel costante sviluppo verso l’Alto, ma nello stadio come uomo ha fallito; esso stesso ha interrotto lo sviluppo, perché questo stadio gli ha procurato la libera volontà e l’uomo ne ha abusato. Allora l’entrata nel Regno spirituale deve comprensibilmente significare per lui grandi tormenti e delusioni, perché soltanto lo spirituale perfetto ha il diritto all’eterna felicità beata.
