Carnal desires.... earthly desires.... love activity....

In carnal pleasure you humans see the fulfilment of your physical desires, and thus you indulge in earthly pleasure. But what helps the body to feel good is of little benefit to the soul, for the soul can only develop progressively if it does not give in to physical desire, that is, if it voluntarily renounces everything the body demands for its fulfilment.... Man should practice love.... and he must therefore always help his fellow human being in every need of body and soul. True love will always want to give and must therefore also be prepared to act in love when a fellow human being is in need. This attitude is also decisive for the maturing of the soul. To a certain extent, the degree of love is assessed by God when two people connect purely physically. A person can have an educating and ennobling effect on his fellow human being in every situation, and the will to do so is decisive as to whether a physical union is a blessing or cannot exist before God.... Divine love, mercy and patience exercises the greatest forbearance with people, and especially with those who present their weakness to God and appeal to Him for strength.... For as long as the human being belongs to earth, his earthly desires are also greater and therefore more difficult to overcome. Yet the more the human being struggles to suppress earthly desires, the more noticeably he gains the strength to resist earthly desires without violating the commandment to love his neighbour.... For love is the first condition.... The loving person will always keep only the good of the other person in mind and will therefore do everything that is asked of him, because love is always the giver and the loving person never thinks of himself. Giving love will always be pleasing to God and therefore the degree of willingness to give is decisive for the soul's higher development....

Desejos carnais .... Desejos terráqueos .... Atividade amorosa ....

Vós, humanos, vedes a realização dos vossos desejos corporais na luxúria carnal, e assim vos entregais ao prazer terreno. Mas o que ajuda o corpo a sentir-se bem não é muito benéfico para a alma, pois a alma só pode desenvolver-se progressivamente se não ceder ao desejo corporal, se renunciar voluntariamente a tudo o que o corpo exige para o seu cumprimento .... O ser humano deve praticar o amor .... e, portanto, deve sempre ajudar o seu semelhante em todas as dificuldades do corpo e da alma. O verdadeiro amor quererá sempre dar e, portanto, também deve estar preparado para trabalhar com amor quando o ser humano está em aflição. Esta atitude é também decisiva para o amadurecimento da alma. O grau de amor é, por assim dizer, avaliado por Deus quando duas pessoas se unem puramente fisicamente. Em cada situação o ser humano pode ter um efeito educador e enobrecedor sobre o seu semelhante, e a vontade deste último é decisiva para saber se uma união física é uma bênção ou não pode existir diante de Deus. .... O amor divino, a misericórdia e a paciência exercem a maior indulgência com as pessoas, e especialmente com aqueles que apresentam suas fraquezas a Deus e apelam a Ele para a força .... Enquanto o Homem pertencer à Terra o seu desejo terreno é maior e, portanto, mais difícil de superar. Contudo, quanto mais o ser humano luta para suprimir os desejos terrenos, mais visivelmente ganha forças para resistir ao desejo terreno sem violar o mandamento do amor para com o próximo ..... Pois o amor é a primeira condição .... A pessoa amorosa só terá sempre em mente o bem-estar do outro e, portanto, fará tudo o que lhe for exigido, porque o amor é sempre o doador e a pessoa amorosa nunca pensa em si mesma. Dar amor será sempre agradável diante de Deus e, portanto, o grau de disposição para dar é decisivo para o desenvolvimento superior da alma ...._>Amém
