Only love redeems.... shaping of the heart....

It is only love that leads man upwards, and it is only through love that a transformation takes place in him that is necessary in order to move from the depths to the heights, to the light. Nothing else can redeem him, nothing else can replace love, and nothing else but love can lead him closer to God.... And even if a person lives his life on earth in fulfilment of duty and strict observation and fulfilment of the demands placed on him, nothing guarantees his progress but love alone. For this transforms the soul and makes it willing to open itself and give freedom to the spirit within. And the working of the spirit ensures the soul's higher development.... the maturing without which a life in eternity is inconceivable.... But love is God Himself.... So God must be in everything and with everything that man begins.... And the human being has completely accepted Him in himself if he lives in love, and then his life on earth must bring him perfection because God Himself is in him and can work according to His will. God and love are one, and therefore God can only be found through love, although He is sought intellectually. The knowledge of God and the belief in Him, that He exists, does not bring the human being closer to the eternal deity.... he will only consciously strive for Him through activity of love, then the serious will to come close to Him will be present and only then will the right realization follow, which is imparted to him by way of the heart.... And thus love is indispensable in order to be able to enter the kingdom of God.... Love overcomes everything, it remains victorious even in the most difficult battle, because the one who lives in love has God Himself at his side, Who is in him through the human being's activity of love. A person's degree of love determines when God, as love Himself, takes up residence in him. He can only dwell where love has accomplished such a transformation, where the human being has moulded himself according to God's will.... He must be humble, meek, peaceful and patient from the heart, and all this is brought about by love.... For he puts God and his fellow human beings before love for himself and will always think less of himself; he will demand nothing for himself but will always give.... he will not condemn, but understand and forgive.... he will not seek contention and will suppress all arrogance.... he will have understanding for the weaknesses of his fellow human beings and therefore practice patience. And thus his nature will change and mould itself in accordance with divine will. And God Himself can take abode in such a moulded soul.... Hence love will dwell in the human being in all its fullness, he will no longer be able to do anything else but be lovingly active because God Himself will now direct all his actions and thoughts, He Who is in him.... And where God is, there can be no depth, no darkness and no unfree state; where God is, there is light and freedom, where God is, there is peace and bliss.... love has redeemed man....

Só o amor redime.... Shapes of the Heart....

Só o amor conduz o ser humano para cima, e só através do amor é que se realiza nele uma transformação necessária para alcançar desde a profundidade até à altura, até à luz. Nada mais pode redimi-lo, nada mais pode substituir o amor, e nada mais que o amor pode levá-lo mais perto de Deus.... E mesmo que o ser humano viva a sua vida na Terra no cumprimento do dever e na estrita observação e cumprimento das exigências que lhe são impostas, nada mais garante o seu progresso do que apenas o amor. Pois isso muda a alma e a faz disposta a abrir-se e dar ao espírito dentro da liberdade. E o funcionamento do espírito assegura o desenvolvimento superior da alma.... a maturação sem a qual uma vida na eternidade é inconcebível..... Mas o amor é o próprio Deus.... Então Deus deve estar em tudo e com tudo que o homem começa.... E o homem o aceitou completamente dentro de si, se vive em amor, e então a sua vida terrena deve trazê-lo a perfeição, porque o próprio Deus está nele e pode trabalhar segundo a Sua vontade. Deus e o amor são um só, e portanto Deus só pode ser encontrado através do amor, mesmo que Ele seja procurado intelectualmente. O conhecimento de Deus e a crença Nele de que Ele existe não aproxima o ser humano da Deidade eterna.... Ele só se esforçará conscientemente por Ele através de uma actividade amorosa, então a vontade sincera de se aproximar d'Ele estará presente, e só então se seguirá a realização certa, que lhe será transmitida no caminho do coração.... E assim o amor é indispensável para se poder entrar no Reino de Deus.... O amor supera tudo, permanece vitorioso mesmo na batalha mais difícil, porque o próprio Deus está ao lado da pessoa que vive no amor, que está nele através da atividade de amor do ser humano. O grau de amor do ser humano determina quando Deus, como Amor próprio, toma morada nele. Ele só pode habitar onde o amor realizou tal transformação, onde o ser humano se moldou de acordo com a vontade de Deus.... Ele deve ser humilde, gentil, pacífico e paciente do coração, e o amor traz todas estas coisas.... Pois ele coloca Deus e o seu próximo acima do amor por si mesmo e sempre se considerará menos; nada exigirá para si mesmo, mas sempre dará.... ele não vai condenar, mas entender e perdoar.... ele não vai procurar nenhuma discussão e suprimir toda a arrogância.... ele terá compreensão pelas fraquezas dos seus semelhantes e, portanto, praticará a paciência. E assim a sua natureza muda e se molda como é a vontade divina. E, numa alma tão moldada, o próprio Deus pode tomar a sua morada.... Assim o amor habitará no ser humano em toda a sua plenitude, ele não poderá mais fazer nada além de ser ativo no amor, porque o próprio Deus agora guiará todas as suas ações e pensamentos, Aquele que está nele.... E onde Deus está, não pode mais haver profundidade, nem escuridão e nem estado de liberdade; onde Deus está, há luz e liberdade, onde Deus está, há paz e bem-aventurança.... O amor redimiu o homem...._>Amém
