The battle of light against darkness....

Although the battle of the beings of light only consists of tireless loving activity, it nevertheless has to be called a battle, for its goal is to defeat the darkness, i.e. to gradually displace it with light. This battle requires great love and patience because the opposite side puts up the greatest resistance to this struggle and therefore repeated attempts must be made to defeat this resistance. But there is nothing which would be too arduous for the beings of light or which could weaken their love; compassion for the lightless souls will always impel the beings of light to utmost activity, which expresses itself in constant teaching and wanting to convince, for they know about the agonizing state of the beings which are still under the adversary's influence and would like to change it, because they cannot help but do good to all beings and therefore also want to remedy their lack of knowledge. Consequently, they have to fight against ignorance. They must fight against every false teaching, against every false interpretation of the divine word.... They must also try to change the lethargy of souls into an eager observation of those who approach them. The beings of light exert their influence on the imperfect being as long as it does not stubbornly resist. The lightless being's hardship and agony will always find the compassionate love of the beings of light, i.e. the love of these beings will always be willing to help them. However, resistance prevents the beings of light from approaching lovingly, thus the imperfect beings forfeit their own assistance if they reject it. Redeeming activity has then become an impossibility for the beings of light. Nevertheless they do not let up in their endeavours insofar as that they pay attention to every impulse in which the being is accessible to a ray of light, and they use such impulse for renewed work of love. But since love is an incomparably stronger weapon in the battle for the beings, countless beings are wrested from darkness and brought to the kingdom of light, for love is able to accomplish extraordinary things and only the rejecting will, i.e. the conscious submission to the will of the dark power, eliminates the activity of love of those beings of light. The battle of light against darkness lasts forever, yet the kingdom of light is constantly expanding while the kingdom of darkness is diminishing in size and power....

Luta da luz contra a escuridão....

Tudo cheio de luz está em batalha com as trevas, mesmo que a luta dos seres de luz consista apenas em incansável atividade de amor, ela tem que ser chamada de luta, pois seu objetivo é derrotar as trevas, ou seja, substituí-las gradualmente pela luz. Esta luta requer grande amor e paciência, porque a maior resistência é colocada pelo lado oposto a esta luta e por isso tem que ser tentada repetidamente para derrotar esta resistência. Mas não há nada que seja demasiado árduo para os seres de luz ou que possa enfraquecer o seu amor; a misericórdia para com as almas sem luz conduzirá sempre os seres de luz à atividade máxima que se expressa no ensinamento constante e querendo convencer, pois eles sabem do estado agonizante dos seres que ainda estão sob a influência do adversário e querem mudá-lo, porque não podem deixar de fazer o bem a todos os seres e, portanto, também querem remediar a sua falta de conhecimento. Consequentemente, eles têm que lutar contra a ignorância. Eles devem lutar contra todo ensinamento falso, contra toda interpretação errada da Palavra divina.... devem também tentar transformar a letargia das almas numa observação ávida daqueles que se aproximam delas. Os seres de luz exercem a sua influência sobre o ser imperfeito, desde que este não resista obstinadamente. As dificuldades e tormentos do ser sem luz encontrarão sempre o amor misericordioso dos seres leves, ou seja, o amor desses seres estará sempre disposto a ajudá-los. No entanto, a resistência impede que os seres de luz se aproximem amorosamente, de modo que os seres imperfeitos perdem a sua própria ajuda se a rejeitarem. Então a atividade redentora tornou-se uma impossibilidade para os seres de luz. No entanto, eles não cessam os seus esforços na medida em que prestam atenção a cada impulso em que o ser é acessível a um raio de luz, e usam esses impulsos para renovar a actividade amorosa. Mas como o amor é uma arma incomparavelmente mais forte na batalha pelos seres, inúmeros seres são arrancados das trevas e trazidos para o reino da luz, pois o amor é capaz de alcançar coisas extraordinárias, e apenas a vontade rejeitadora, ou seja, a submissão consciente à vontade do poder das trevas, impede que esses seres de luz trabalhem com amor. A batalha da luz contra as trevas dura para sempre, mas o reino da luz está em constante expansão, enquanto o reino das trevas está a perder tamanho e poder...._>Amém
