Divine grace is an aid....

The slightest resistance to divine grace results in its diminution, for God's grace cannot be effective where it is rejected. Whoever desires to stand in divine grace, his measure is inexhaustible. This is why prayer for God's grace is extremely successful, as it testifies to the will to receive divine grace, and this also means receiving it. In cases of deepest spiritual need, God's grace is also made accessible to people who do not ask for it, for God's merciful love leans towards them and tries to make them receptive even against their will. But they cannot be forced to be receptive; however, the divine help is sometimes so clearly evident that the person feels touched by it and offers no resistance, and then the grace begins to take effect.... The person perceives it as a blessing and now desires it. Divine grace is help in every form.... The human being will be able to recognize it if he is willing; he will feel the influx of strength which expresses itself in increased strength of will; he will become more capable of love; he will take notice of what previously seemed insignificant to him; he will make contact with people who can influence him favourably; he will long for light, for spiritual food, and this will be brought to him. All this is grace, an aid to the attainment of maturity of soul.... But he must always allow it to become effective in him. The fact that God imparts it to him does not yet condition his willingness to receive it. Only the latter is decisive. However, the path upwards can never be travelled without divine grace, and therefore it is certainly true that man can do nothing without divine grace.... conversely, however, divine grace is also ineffective without the will of man. And this will remains free. The greatest and most obvious bestowal of grace will never have a determining effect on the human being's will; he must decide for himself and can always accept or reject it. And this cannot be otherwise if an eternal law is not to be overturned. God loves all His children and He will also make everything available to them in order to lead them back to Himself. But if He also wanted to determine the will, then it would be easy for Him to bring everything that exists into a state of maturity. Yet these would then be directed beings which exclude godlikeness, for free will belongs to perfection. And that is why even God's grace, which is the means to achieve perfection, cannot eliminate free will. The willing person, however, is allowed to make use of all aids and will thereby also easily reach the heights. Resistance to God's grace is also resistance to God Himself and willingness towards God's adversary. And then the influx of divine grace cannot possibly influence him if his will is still turned towards him. Whoever wants to receive from God must also be able to give.... but whoever gives his will to God will receive unmeasured and now also be able to mould himself according to God's will. For God loves all His children and wants to help them to ascend, He wants to win them back and liberate them from the opposing power....

A Graça Divina é Aid....

A menor resistência à graça divina resulta em sua diminuição, pois a graça de Deus não pode ser efetiva onde ela é rejeitada. Quem deseja permanecer na graça divina, tem uma medida inesgotável. É por isso que a oração pela graça de Deus é extremamente bem sucedida, pois testemunha a vontade de receber a graça divina, e isto também significa a sua concessão. Em casos de mais profunda dificuldade espiritual, a graça de Deus também é levada às pessoas que não a pedem, pois o amor misericordioso de Deus inclina-se para elas e procura torná-las receptivas mesmo contra a sua vontade. No entanto, eles não podem ser forçados a ser receptivos; a ajuda divina, porém, é por vezes tão claramente evidente que o ser humano se sente tocado por ela e não oferece resistência, e então a graça começa a ter efeito..... O ser humano sente-o como um benefício e agora deseja-o. A graça divina é ajuda em todas as formas.... O ser humano será capaz de reconhecê-lo se estiver disposto; sentirá o influxo de força que se expressa em maior força de vontade; tornar-se-á mais capaz de amar; notará o que antes lhe parecia insignificante; fará contato com pessoas que podem influenciá-lo favoravelmente; desejará luz, alimento espiritual, e isso lhe será trazido. Tudo isto é graça, uma ajuda para atingir a maturidade da alma.... Mas ele deve sempre deixar que isso se torne eficaz nele. O facto de Deus lho transmitir ainda não determina a sua vontade de o receber. Só este último é decisivo. No entanto, o caminho para cima nunca pode ser percorrido sem a graça divina, e por isso é certamente verdade que o ser humano é incapaz de fazer nada sem a graça divina.... Mas, inversamente, a graça divina também é ineficaz sem a vontade do ser humano. E esta vontade permanece livre para ele. A maior e mais óbvia concessão de graça nunca terá um efeito determinante na vontade do ser humano, ele tem que decidir por si mesmo e pode sempre aceitá-la ou também rejeitá-la. E não pode ser de outra forma, se uma lei eterna não deve ser derrubada. Deus ama a todos os Seus filhos e também lhes dará tudo a fim de guiá-los de volta a Si mesmo. Mas se Ele também quisesse determinar a vontade, então seria fácil para Ele colocar tudo o que existe em um estado de maturidade. Mas então estes seriam seres dirigidos que excluem a semelhança com Deus, pois o livre arbítrio pertence à perfeição. E, portanto, nem mesmo a graça de Deus, que significa meio de ajuda para alcançar a perfeição, pode eliminar o livre arbítrio. Mas o ser humano disposto a fazer uso de todas as ajudas e, assim, também poderá facilmente alcançar a ascensão. Resistência contra a graça de Deus é também resistência contra o próprio Deus e disposição para com o adversário de Deus. E então o influxo da graça divina não pode influenciá-lo se a sua vontade ainda estiver voltada para ela. Quem quer receber de Deus também deve ser capaz de dar.... mas quem entrega a sua vontade a Deus receberá sem medida e então também será capaz de se moldar de acordo com a vontade de Deus. Pois Deus ama todos os Seus filhos e quer ajudá-los a ascender, Ele quer reconquistá-los e libertá-los do poder do adversário...._>Amém
