Mental activity the most important thing.... task.... sacrifice....

The constant teaching and therefore also the constant listening into oneself will bring great success. The teaching forces give the human being a spiritual treasure trove of knowledge which can never be used up, for whatever is given away will only contribute towards teaching and thus towards the increase of spiritual knowledge without, however, diminishing the spiritual property of the former. And this is divine will and His gift of grace, which the human being can utilize and increase as he sees fit. But this good must always be used profitably; man may never be in the belief that it is enough that he enriches himself with it; he then runs the risk that the source of knowledge dries up, that he is then also no longer allowed to draw and that therefore the flow of divine favour stops. For it is also divine will that the spiritual knowledge is spread, and the human being himself must utilize every opportunity to spread the gift entrusted to him, i.e. to pass on the knowledge he has received himself. For this is only then a work of love for one's neighbour. Admittedly, this is again a gift of grace that people do not deserve as long as they themselves do not desire it. And yet they should at least be informed of it so that they can decide for themselves whether they want to strive for it or reject it. And therefore the admonition is sent to them again and again to remember their soul. All spiritual work brings spiritual, i.e. eternal success, for it is permanent and what a person has once absorbed can never be taken away from him again. Spiritual activity is therefore the only important thing before God, all reservations should remain silent towards it, for anyone who absorbs spiritual possessions fully fulfils his earthly task as long as he also passes these possessions on to his neighbour with love. Thus he need never fear that he has not utilized his time sufficiently if he commits himself to spreading that which God Himself imparts to him and which must therefore also be the most important thing because God Himself gives it to him. The receiving of the messages from above is connected with a task, i.e., the receiving depends on the will to fulfil this task, thus the intention must then also be carried out. Receiving and giving is what makes the gift of God what it is.... For this develops the person's own intellectual activity, and only in this way does the person come into the blessing of what he has received, otherwise it remains dead words, without power and influence on the person. For what the human being receives only becomes spiritual property when he himself has absorbed it with his heart, i.e. when he has mentally worked through the content of what he has been offered and now affirms it. Only then can he pass it on as living truth; he can defend what he says with conviction and likewise stimulate his fellow human being to think so that he too is receptive and accepts the divine gift as food and drink....

Receiving the divine word also includes the willingness to fulfil a mission that requires sacrifice. For in order to be able to distribute the gift of God, man must be able to give up everything earthly, because he is to present the same to his fellow man. He must be exemplary in his earthly lifestyle, i.e. live according to the word that he now proclaims. And this requires the willing surrender of all earthly pleasures, it requires a strong self-conquest to fight against everything that offers earthly enjoyment. For the more easily a person surrenders these, the more receptive he is to the precious good that is offered to him from above. And therefore the deeper he has penetrated himself, the more convincingly he can spread it. Only when a person makes sacrifices is he able to serve God, and then the work will be assigned to him in such a way that he can manage it. But then success will not fail to materialize. The work of the teachers in the beyond will spread far and wide through the cooperation of people on earth and the divine word will thus be spread wherever people are receptive and endeavour to follow the example of the transmitter and thus surrender what earthly possessions mean in order to exchange spiritual possessions in all their fullness....

Atividade mental a coisa mais importante.... Task.... Sacrifício....

O ensino constante e, portanto, também a escuta constante de si mesmo, trará grande sucesso. Os poderes de ensino dão ao ser humano um tesouro espiritual de conhecimento que nunca pode ser usado, pois o que quer que seja dado apenas contribui para o ensino e, portanto, para o aumento do conhecimento espiritual sem, contudo, diminuir a propriedade espiritual do primeiro. E esta é a vontade divina e o Seu dom de graça, que o ser humano pode usar e aumentar como lhe aprouver. Mas este bem deve ser sempre usado com proveito; o ser humano nunca deve acreditar que lhe basta enriquecer-se com ele; então corre o risco de que a fonte do conhecimento seque, de que não lhe seja mais permitido tirar dele e de que o influxo da graça divina cesse. Pois é também vontade divina que o conhecimento espiritual seja difundido, e o próprio ser humano deve usar todas as oportunidades para difundir o dom que lhe foi confiado, ou seja, para transmitir o conhecimento que ele próprio recebeu. Pois só então esta é uma actividade apaixonada pelo próximo. É certo que este é novamente um dom de graça que as pessoas não merecem, enquanto não o desejarem elas mesmas. E, no entanto, eles devem pelo menos receber conhecimento para que possam decidir por si mesmos se querem lutar por ele ou rejeitá-lo. E, portanto, a admoestação é-lhes enviada uma e outra vez para que se lembrem da sua alma. Todo trabalho espiritual traz consigo o espiritual, ou seja, o sucesso eterno, porque é constante, e o que o ser humano uma vez absorvido não pode mais ser retirado dele eternamente. A atividade espiritual é, portanto, a única coisa importante diante de Deus, todas as reticências devem ser silenciadas em relação a ela, pois todo aquele que leva para dentro de si o bem espiritual cumpre plena e completamente a tarefa terrena que lhe foi dada, desde que também transmita esse bem ao seu próximo com amor. Assim, ele nunca precisa temer que não tenha feito uso suficiente do seu tempo se estiver empenhado em divulgar o que o próprio Deus lhe dá e que, portanto, deve ser também a coisa mais importante, pois é o próprio Deus que lho dá. A recepção das mensagens de cima está ligada a uma tarefa, ou seja, a recepção depende da vontade de cumprir essa tarefa, portanto, a intenção também deve ser cumprida. Somente tomando e dando faz do dom de Deus o que ele é.... Pois esta forma a própria atividade intelectual, e somente através dela o ser humano chega à bênção do que recebeu, caso contrário permanecem palavras mortas, sem força e influência sobre o ser humano. Pois o que o ser humano recebe só se torna propriedade espiritual quando ele próprio o recebeu com o coração, ou seja, quando o conteúdo do que lhe foi dado foi trabalhado mentalmente por ele mesmo e agora é afirmado. Só então ele pode transmiti-la como verdade viva; ele pode representar o que diz com convicção e também estimular o seu semelhante à atividade do pensamento, para que também ele seja receptivo e aceite o dom divino como alimento e bebida....

Além disso, a vontade de cumprir uma missão que requer sacrifício, pertence à aceitação da palavra divina. Pois para poder distribuir o dom de Deus, o ser humano deve poder desistir de tudo o que é terreno, porque ele deve apresentar o mesmo aos seus semelhantes. Ele deve ser exemplar na conduta terrena, ou seja, viver de acordo com a Palavra que agora proclama. E isso requer a entrega voluntária de todos os prazeres terrenos, requer uma forte autoconquista para lutar contra tudo o que oferece prazer terreno. Pois quanto mais fácil o ser humano desistir dele, mais receptivo ele é pelo bem precioso que lhe é oferecido de cima. E assim ele também pode espalhá-lo de forma mais convincente quanto mais profundo ele mesmo penetrou. Somente quando o ser humano faz sacrifícios é capacitado para servir a Deus, e então a obra lhe será designada como ele é capaz de realizá-la. Mas então o sucesso não deixará de vir. O trabalho dos professores no além se espalhará por toda parte através da cooperação dos povos terrenos e a Palavra divina se espalhará onde quer que as pessoas estejam dispostas a aceitá-la e fazer um esforço para seguir o exemplo do transmissor, e assim desistir do que os bens terrenos significam, a fim de trocar bens espirituais em abundância....
