Revelations.... fulfilling the preconditions....

The deepest depths of divine wisdom are revealed to the earthly man who desires them and keeps God's commandments. There is nothing that remains hidden from him, for God sets no limits as long as man himself does not draw the line by ceasing his desire. What God gives is valuable beyond all measure, it remains for all eternity, it is spiritual good and therefore imperishable. Although it also concerns earthly things, i.e. material things, i.e. creations that have earthly matter as their basic substance, the knowledge of it also belongs to the spiritual realm, for every earthly creation also has its spiritual significance. In order to be able to grasp everything, instruction from the side of knowing spiritual beings is necessary, who, with untiring patience and perseverance, make it their task to initiate the ignorant human being, thus to give him knowledge of God's activity and reign. However, in order to be receptive to the mediations of these beings, certain preconditions must be fulfilled. Thus people could draw without ceasing from a well which would constantly provide the clearest water, yet only a few people fulfil the conditions in order to receive the drink which God Himself offers them from the divine father's hand. What God gives is the deepest, purest, noblest good, and therefore it is also of eternal value. Whoever wants to receive the divine gift must make a great sacrifice. He must first renounce all desire for the vain goods of the world. Only in an empty space can something understandably be saved. The heart of man must also be an empty, blank page. But then man must beware of outward appearances. He must indeed affirm an eternal, supremely perfect being, but faith is enough if it is felt deep in the heart with truth and conviction. Then God will reveal wisdom to him which no earthly teacher will ever be able to present to him so clearly, and the result will be that ever more radiant light will surround the human being, i.e. he will have profound knowledge and will not have received it from God in isolation from Him but in closest union with Him and thereby have become the bearer of divine wisdom and strength....

계시. 전제 조건을 충족시키는 일.

가장 깊은 하나님의 지혜가 하나님의 지혜를 갈망하고, 하나님의 계명을 지키는 이 땅의 사람에게 주어진다. 그에게 숨겨져 있는 일은 아무것도 없게 된다. 왜냐면 사람이 스스로 자신의 갈망을 멈추지 않는 동안에는, 하나님이 제한을 가하지 않기 때문이다. 하나님이 주는 것은 모든 것을 능가하는 값진 것이고, 영원까지 머무는 것이고, 영적인 재물이다. 그러므로 쇠하지 않는 것이다. 하나님이 주는 것이 또한 이 땅의 것이라 할지라도, 즉 세상 물질을 근본 요소로 가진 것이라 할지라도, 그에 대한 지식은 또한 영의 영역에 속한 지식이다. 왜냐하면 세상의 모든 창조물은 자신의 영적인 의미를 가지고 있기 때문이다.

모든 것을 파악할 수 있기 위해 알고 있는 영적인 존재가 주는 가르침이 필요하다. 영적인 존재는 지식이 없는 사람들을 지치지 않은 인내와 끈기로 가르치는 일을 자신들이 과제로 삼는다. 다시 말해 영적인 존재는 하나님의 역사와 통치에 관한 지식을 사람들에게 가르친다. 그러나 영적인 존재의 가르침을 받기 위해 특정한 전제 조건을 충족시켜야 한다. 그러므로 사람은 항상 가장 깨끗한 물을 주는 샘에서 끊임없이 기를 수 있다. 그러나 단지 소수의 사람들이 하나님 자신이 제공하는 음료를 하나님 아버지의 손에서 받기 위한 조건을 충족시킨다.

하나님이 주는 것은 가장 깊고, 가장 순결하고, 가장 고귀한 재물이다. 그러므로 영원한 가치가 있다. 하나님의 선물을 받기 원하는 사람은 누구나 이제 큰 희생을 드려야만 한다. 그는 먼저 세상의 헛된 재물을 향한 욕망을 버려야만 한다. 빈 공간에 무언 가를 채울 수 있는 일은 당연한 일이다. 사람의 심장이 비어 있고, 사용하지 않은 백지와 같아야 만한다.

그러나 사람은 겉치레를 조심해야만 한다. 그는 실제 영원하고, 가장 온전한 존재를 인정해야만 한다. 그러나 그가 심장의 깊은 곳에서 진실로 확신을 느낀다면, 그런 믿음으로 충분하다. 그러면 하나님은 이 땅의 교사들이 절대로 그에게 그렇게 분명하게 제시할 수 없는 지혜를 그에게 계시해줄 것이다. 이런 일이 이루는 성공은 항상 밝은 빛이 사람을 둘러싸게 해주는 일이 될 것이다. 다시 말해 그가 가장 깊은 지식을 얻고, 이런 지식을 하나님과 멀리에 있지 않고, 하나님과 가장 가까운 관계에서 하나님으로부터 받고, 이런 지식을 통해 그는 하나님의 지혜와 힘의 소유자가 된다._>아멘
