"Believe and persevere in prayer...."

Believe and persevere in prayer.... It is a particularly high task which you have been given for earthly life, and a far higher maturity of soul depends on its fulfilment than a person can otherwise achieve on earth. And God will give you the strength you need if you do not forget Him and ask for His help. What is life on earth.... Just a fleeting moment in eternity. What are the sufferings and sorrows on earth compared to the bliss that awaits you if you walk in faith and live in God. But to live in God means to stand in love.... Living in God means making Him your own, putting Him first in all your thoughts and actions and doing what He asks of you.... give love to your fellow human beings.... Those who live in God will no longer take any notice of themselves, but will only ever be active for others, because God is love.... To live in God therefore means to be completely permeated by divine love. But anyone who is lovingly active is in intimate union with God.... He is in Him, just as God is in everyone who shapes himself into love by practicing works of love. You must learn to regard the fact that you are now faced with tasks which require great love and a willingness to make sacrifices as a favour, a favour which is to earn you the soul's higher development. You must never believe that the lord God brings people together indiscriminately in order to bring suffering upon them, but that He wants to mould you into a higher maturity of soul. Often the tests are so difficult that you are in danger of failing, and yet such tests must be put to you, for they will strengthen your strength. Wherever you have to overcome resistances, your soul will take the course of higher development as long as you are active yourselves in order to master those resistances. Earthly life will soon be over, in eternity you will be rewarded many times over for the sacrifices you have made for your neighbour. And you will be thanked by the soul of the person you have done good for. Yet you must do what you do in patience and love.... You must resign yourselves to all strokes of fate, you must always and constantly desire help from your spiritual friends, who will always stand by your side where you need them. You must call upon them so that they can stand by you in every adversity of soul and body. And if you only ever have God before your eyes and in your heart.... if you firmly and unshakeably believe that He is the lord, to Whom everything is subject in heaven and on earth.... if you seek to gain His love, you will also have the power, and you will become master over all adversities, you will increase in strength and vigour, and your lot on earth will now also be an easier one. For he who overcomes the trials has nothing to fear forever, for his faith and his prayer will help him in all adversities, even though it may seem as if the trials are insurmountable.... you always have a helper at your side, if you desire His help.... But He has great power and will truly also use His power if danger threatens you.... Therefore believe and persevere in prayer....

“Credete e perseverate nella preghiera

Credete e perseverate nella preghiera. E’ un compito particolarmente alto che vi è stato posto per la vita terrena e dall’esaudimento di questi dipende una maturità dell’anima molto più elevata che l’uomo sulla Terra possa raggiungere. Dio ve ne darà la Forza che vi serve se non Lo dimenticate e Gli chiedete il Suo Aiuto. Che cosa è la vita terrena? Soltanto un fuggente attimo nell’Eternità. Cosa sono le sofferenze e le preoccupazioni sulla Terra a confronto con la Beatitudine che vi attende quando camminate nella fede e vivete in Dio. Ma vivere in Dio significa stare nell’amore, vivere in Dio significa darsi a Lui, premettere a Lui tutto il pensare ed agire e far ciò che Egli vi chiede, dare amore ai vostri prossimi. Chi vive in Dio non baderà più a sé stesso, ma sarà sempre attivo per altri perché Dio E’ Amore. Vivere in Dio significa essere quindi totalmente compenetrati dall’Amore divino. Ma chi è attivo amando, è in intima unione con Dio. Egli E’ in lui, appena Dio E’ in ognuno che si è formato nell’amore attraverso l’esercizio di opere d’amore. Che ora, siete messi davanti a dei compiti che richiedono grande amore e gioia di sacrificio, lo dovete imparare a considerare una Grazia che vi deve procurare lo sviluppo verso l’Alto dell’anima. Non dovete mai credere che il Signore fa incontrare gli uomini sconsideratamente per portare sofferenza su di loro, ma che Egli vi vuole formare nella maturità più elevata dell’anima. Sovente i problemi sono così gravi che minacciate di fallire e malgrado ciò tali prove vi devono essere poste perché in ciò viene fortificata la vostra forza. Ovunque avete da vincere delle resistenze, la vostra anima percorre la via dello sviluppo verso l’Alto appena voi stessi siete attivi per diventare padroni di quelle resistenze. La vita terrena presto è passata, nell’Eternità verrete ricompensati per ciò che avete sacrificato per i vostri prossimi. E vi ringrazierà l’anima di colui al quale avete fatto del bene. Ma quello che fate, lo dovete fare nella pazienza e nell’amore. Dovete adeguarvi rassegnati in tutti i colpi del destino, dovete sempre e continuamente desiderare l’aiuto dai vostri amici spirituali che vi assistono sempre dove ne avete bisogno. Li dovete chiamare affinché vi possano assistere in ogni miseria dell’anima e del corpo. E se avete sempre soltanto Dio davanti agli occhi e nel cuore, se credete saldi ed irremovibili che Egli Sia il Signore al quale tutto è sottoposto nel Cielo e sulla Terra, se cercate di conquistare il Suo Amore, allora avete anche il potere e sarete padroni su tutti i disaccordi, crescerete in Forza e Vigore ed anche la vostra sorte terrena sarà ora più facile, perché chi vince le prove, non ha da temere nulla in eterno perché la sua fede e la sua preghiera lo aiuta in tutte le miserie, benché possa sembrare come se le prove fossero insuperabili; avete sempre un Aiutante a fianco quando desiderate il Suo Aiuto. Ma Costui ha un gran Potere ed impiegherà davvero anche il suo Potere quando vi minaccia un pericolo. Perciò credete e perseverate nella preghiera.
