Love for God.... recognizing His word....

The willingness to serve God presupposes love for Him, for the human being recognizes a being above himself to Whom he feels subject, but to Whom he is also devoted and willing to do anything for this being, thus he feels love for God. Since the human being now offers his service to God of his own free will, this is a conscious turning towards and longing for Him. It is an awareness of his belonging to God, and thus the separation from Him is already overcome, even though the human being has not yet reached the state of perfection which he is able to attain on earth. The love for God, however, has awakened in him and the will to live to please Him.... There are no special characteristics which, purely outwardly, already reveal the bond with God, for everything that works outwardly does not stand up to the many tests which God allows to come upon precisely those earthly children who want to enter His service in order to steel their will. These trials should increase the inner desire for God, the human being should entrust himself to Him in greatest adversity and always see his father in Him, his ending and also his end. And he can only do all this if he is deeply inward, if everything external does not cling to him, if only the longing to be united with God fills him..... therefore, love for God must be inherent in him, it must determine his every action, thought and speech. And an earthly child who is in love, i.e. who carries God in his heart, will not be able to be anything other than lovingly active, and thus the bond of love will become ever more intimate. God Himself assesses the feeling that a person has for Him in his heart and He truly knows best to what extent a person's heart is shaped to receive the divine lord. Man attaches great importance to a visible expression of God.... He always wants to have proof and therefore only believes when there are so many obvious miraculous signs that doubt is impossible. But God does not want people to believe only when He works signs and wonders.... He wants the divine word to be accepted without signs, He wants man to recognize it as the word of God, for man's merit is indisputably higher if he accepts the truth from the heavens without it being proven to him by signs. Man is then also more easily inclined to believe that his love is not yet great enough to be honoured by God with the inner word. The lord looks at the hearts of His own, and whichever He now finds without fault, He will make unspeakably happy by taking up residence in it Himself. For He assured people of this when He walked on earth, that He would come to be united with His own on earth. And His own will also recognize Him when He comes. But first their faith must be so strong that they recognize the lord in the word, for then they will already be intimately united with Him and when He Himself appears their love, which they have already proven to Him before, will be crowned....

Amor de Deus.... Conhecendo a sua palavra....

A vontade de servir a Deus pressupõe amor por Ele, pois o ser humano reconhece um ser acima de si a Quem se sente sujeito, mas a Quem também se dedica e está disposto a fazer qualquer coisa por esse ser, por isso sente amor a Deus. Como o ser humano oferece o seu serviço a Deus de sua livre vontade, isto é uma volta consciente para Ele e anseio por Ele. É uma consciência de sua pertença a Deus, e assim a separação dele já está superada, mesmo que o ser humano ainda não tenha atingido o estado de perfeição que lhe é possível alcançar na Terra. Mas o amor por Deus despertou nele e a vontade de viver para o Seu prazer.... Não há características especiais que já revelam externamente o vínculo com Deus, pois tudo que é externamente ativo não pode suportar as muitas provas que Deus coloca à prova da vontade aquelas crianças terrenas que querem entrar no Seu serviço. Estas provas têm a intenção de aumentar o desejo interior por Deus, o ser humano deve confiar-se a Ele na maior adversidade e ver sempre Nele o seu Pai, o seu fim e também o seu fim. E ele só pode fazer tudo isso se estiver profundamente interiormente, se não estiver apegado a nada externo, se só se cumprir com o desejo de estar unido a Deus. Portanto, o amor a Deus deve ser inerente a Ele, deve determinar cada ação, pensamento e fala Dele. E uma criança terrena que está apaixonada, isto é, que carrega Deus no coração, não poderá ser outra coisa senão amorosamente ativa, e assim o vínculo do amor se tornará cada vez mais íntimo. O próprio Deus avalia o sentimento que o ser humano carrega em seu coração por Ele, e Ele realmente sabe melhor até que ponto o coração do ser humano é moldado para receber o Senhor divino. É certo que o ser humano dá grande importância a uma expressão visível de Deus.... Ele sempre quer provas e, portanto, só acredita quando sinais milagrosos tão óbvios aumentam que a dúvida é excluída. Mas Deus não quer que o homem acredite apenas quando Ele faz sinais e maravilhas..... Ele quer que a Palavra divina seja aceita sem sinais, Ele quer que o ser humano a reconheça como a Palavra de Deus, pois o mérito do ser humano é indiscutivelmente maior se ele aceita a verdade do céu sem que ela lhe seja provada através de sinais. Então o ser humano também está mais inclinado a acreditar que o seu amor ainda não é grande o suficiente para ser apreciado por Deus para a Palavra interior. O Senhor olha para os seus próprios corações e o que quer que encontre sem culpa Ele fará indizívelmente feliz ao tomar residência nele Ele mesmo. Pois Ele assegurou às pessoas, quando vivia na Terra, que viria a estar unido com os Seus na Terra. E a Sua própria vontade também O reconhecerá quando Ele vier. Mas primeiro sua fé tem que ser tão forte que eles reconheçam o Senhor na Palavra, pois então eles já estarão intimamente unidos a Ele, e quando Ele mesmo aparecer seu amor, que eles já provaram a Ele antes, será coroado....
