The secret of eternal love....

To fathom the mystery of eternal love is beyond human ability, and thus it will never be possible for a person to imagine God as love Itself, for God is an entity for the believing human being but love is a feeling.... Entity and perception, however, are two concepts that can certainly belong together, where one can mean the complement of the other, but which are difficult to think of as the same.... God is only conceivable as love insofar as the highest, most perfect being must also be in the highest degree of love, consequently God and love cannot be separated from each other. And this explanation is also the only one that can be given to people, but it does not reveal the secret of eternal love. For any thought beyond this is wrong because human thoughts are unable to fathom this miracle. And it must be enough for man to imagine divine love as something incomprehensible which can only be grasped with the same, i.e. that only the loving man penetrates into a mystery and he then only ever applies his own degree of love as a yardstick, since a 'more' is simply not comprehensible to him. Only when he has succeeded in transforming his own being into love will it be easier for him to imagine God as love Itself, but as a human being he will never fathom it completely. He is certainly able to imagine God as an entity, even if this entity is not conceivable in human terms either, yet the human being always imagines an entity as something physical (a form), even if it is not visible to the eye as such. Love, however, cannot take on a form in his imagination, and as soon as it were given a form, it would have to be addressed as something essential again. And therefore the attempt to introduce the human being to this mystery is completely pointless, it would only lead to erroneous trains of thought which could prevent the human being from recognizing the eternal truth. The human being, in his limitedness, will certainly be able to fathom everything that is related to earthly life, but to understand the spiritual requires (even) an activity of love. Then its essence also forms itself into love and when the soul separates itself from the body only the essence remains, which is now also love in itself, therefore is then also not to be seen as two different things, but could only become what it is through love.... thus again essence and love are the same thing.

(23.12.1940) However, the one Who is love in Himself only becomes conceivable as an entity because the possibility of comprehension for the human being only lies in the essence.... Although he also feels love, even if in the smallest measure, he cannot imagine the eternal deity as something that is only expressed in the life of feeling. For he would only regard this as belonging to the entity, but not as the entity itself. Love is a power, and God is power, therefore God and love must be the same. And again God must be recognized as an entity, otherwise the basic concept for the existence of the eternal deity would be missing. Only when the being has approached the eternal deity is it possible to merge the two concepts into each other, and then the being will completely realize what it cannot yet comprehend. On earth, however, it lacks this ability as it can only absorb what can be united with earthly laws, otherwise it will remain misunderstood....

O segredo do amor eterno....

Entender o mistério do amor eterno está além da capacidade humana e, portanto, nunca será possível para uma pessoa imaginar Deus como o próprio amor, pois Deus é uma entidade para a pessoa que crê, mas o amor é um sentimento.... Beingness e feeling, no entanto, são dois conceitos que podem certamente pertencer um ao outro, onde um pode significar o complemento do outro mas que são difíceis de pensar como a mesma.... Deus só é concebível como amor na medida em que o ser mais elevado, o mais perfeito também deve estar no mais alto grau de amor, consequentemente Deus e o amor não podem ser separados um do outro. E esta explicação é também a única que pode ser dada aos homens, mas não revela o segredo do amor eterno. Pois cada pensamento para além dele é errado, porque os pensamentos humanos são incapazes de entender este milagre. E deve ser suficiente para o ser humano imaginar o amor divino como algo incompreensível que só pode ser compreendido com o mesmo, ou seja, que só o ser humano amoroso penetra um mistério e depois só aplica o seu próprio grau de amor como padrão, uma vez que um "mais" simplesmente não é compreensível para ele. Só quando ele tiver conseguido transformar o seu próprio ser em amor será mais fácil para ele imaginar Deus como Amor a si mesmo, mas como ser humano nunca o sondará completamente. Ele certamente é capaz de imaginar Deus como um ser, embora este ser também não possa ser imaginado em termos humanos, ainda que o ser humano sempre pense em um ser como algo físico (uma forma foi sobrescrita pelo autor), mesmo que não seja visível aos olhos como tal. O amor, no entanto, não pode assumir uma forma na sua imaginação, e assim que lhe fosse dada uma forma, esta voltaria a ser abordada como algo semelhante a ser. E, portanto, a tentativa de introduzir o ser humano a este mistério é completamente inútil, só conduziria a trens errôneos de pensamento que poderiam impedir o ser humano de reconhecer a verdade eterna. O homem, na sua limitação, certamente poderá sondar tudo o que está ligado com a vida terrena, mas a compreensão das coisas espirituais requer uma atitude amorosa. Então o seu ser também se moldará em amor e quando a alma se separar do corpo só restará a essência, que agora também é amor em si mesma, portanto não pode ser considerado como duas coisas diferentes, mas só pode tornar-se o que é através do amor em primeiro lugar.... assim sendo, o ser e o amor são novamente o mesmo. (23.12.1940) Entretanto, Aquele que é amor em si mesmo só se torna concebível como uma entidade, porque para o ser humano a possibilidade de compreensão só está na essência.... Embora ele também sinta amor, mesmo que na menor medida, ele ainda não pode imaginar a Deidade eterna como algo que se expressa apenas na vida do sentimento. Pois ele só consideraria isto como pertencendo à entidade, mas não como a própria entidade. O amor é um poder, e Deus é poder, portanto Deus e amor devem ser o mesmo. E novamente, Deus deve ser reconhecido como uma entidade, caso contrário o conceito básico para a existência da Deidade eterna estaria faltando. Somente quando o ser se aproxima da Deidade eterna é possível fundir os dois conceitos um no outro, e então tornar-se-á completamente claro para o ser o que ele ainda não pode compreender. Na Terra, porém, falta-lhe a capacidade, pois só pode absorver aquilo que pode ser unido com as leis terrenas, caso contrário, permanece incompreendido....
