The inner emptiness of those who take the wrong path....

How rarely is the importance of divine teachings recognized. It is as if people regard all supernatural activity as foolishness, and they consider serious reflection on it to be human weakness or lack of character. The divine is unacceptable to them, but conversely they are not afraid to approve of human reorganizations and support them. And they cannot be helped in any other way. All attempts to make them think fail and time is irretrievably lost for their souls. What lives on earth is meant to follow the path of higher development, and it will also cover the path as long as divine will controls the being. But as soon as the own will is active in the embodiment as man, the course of development upwards is endangered, because the being rebels. It wants to go its own way and rejects every hint, every advice from God. But without this it walks in the wrong direction, and the only possibility is therefore to illuminate this wrong path in such a way that they recognize the fate of those who fall by the wayside, who sink down exhausted and powerless because the path was endless and left no goal in sight. These are the people who go along enjoying life, but who nevertheless recognize their worthlessness and cannot find any real satisfaction in their lives.... who now go to the end of their lives listlessly and bitterly, but no longer have any purpose in life. They do not believe that life has a continuation after death, so they see no goal for themselves and live out the rest of their earthly existence in complete lethargy of spirit. They can certainly still fulfil their earthly work, but this only happens purely mechanically without them finding any meaning and purpose in it. They have given up all struggle because they do not know what they should fight for, and such people should serve as a warning example to those who have not yet finally decided to reject faith, who are therefore still faced with the decision to live life with or without God. They are to be shown the desolation of such a life, which has brought nothing but discouragement and a complete emptiness, because they lived life without God and were therefore devoid of any emanation of strength from Him and their path could therefore never lead them upwards....

잘못된 길을 가는 사람들의 내면의 공허함.

얼마나 희귀하게 하느님의 가르침의 중요성을 깨닫는가! 사람들이 마치 세상을 초월하는 모든 역사를 어리석은 것으로 간주하는 것처럼 보인다. 사람들은 그런 일을 진지하게 생각하는 일을 인간적으로 연약한 것으로, 지조가 없는 것으로 여긴다. 그들이 신성을 받아드릴 수 없지만, 그러나 그들은 인간의 새로운 질서를 좋다고 하고, 지원하는 일에 주저를 하지 않는다. 이런 사람들을 다른 방법으로는 다룰 수 없다. 그들을 생각하게 만드는 모든 시도는 실패하고, 그들의 혼을 위한 시간은 되돌릴 수 없게 잃어버린 시간이 된다.

이 땅에 사는 존재는 더 높은 성장과정을 거쳐야 하고, 하나님의 뜻이 존재를 다스리는 동안에는 또한 더 높은 성장과정의 길을 간다. 그러나 자신의 의지가 인간으로 육신을 입은 가운데 활동한다면, 위를 향한 성장과정이 위협을 받는다. 왜냐하면 존재가 반발하기 때문이다. 존재는 자신의 마음대로 자신의 길을 가기를 원하고, 하나님의 모든 가르침과 모든 조언을 거부한다. 그러나 이런 가르침과 조언이 없으면, 잘못된 방향으로 간다. 그러므로 유일한 가능성은, 길이 끝이 없는 길이고, 목표를 볼 수 없기 때문에, 길 가운데 지치고, 힘이 없이 주저 앉아, 머물고 있는 사람들의 운명을 깨닫는 방식으로 이 잘못된 길을 비추는 일이다.

그런 사람들은 실제 삶을 즐겁게 누리지만, 그러나 그런 삶의 즐거움의 무가치함을 깨닫고, 그들의 삶에서 진정한 만족을 찾을 수 없는 사람들이다. 그들은 이제 기쁨이 없이, 비참한 가운데 그들의 이 땅의 삶의 길을 끝까지 가지만, 그러나 더 이상 삶의 내용이 전혀 없다. 그들은 삶이 죽음 후에도 지속된다는 것을 믿지 않는다. 그러므로 그들은 목표를 보지 못하고, 그들의 남은 이 땅의 삶을 영이 완전하게 무기력한 상태에서 살아간다.

그들은 여전히 세상적으로 그들의 일을 할 수 있지만, 그들이 이 가운데 의미나 목적을 찾지 못한 채, 단지 순전히 기계적으로 일을 한다. 그들은 그들이 무엇을 위해 싸워야 하는 지를 모르기 때문에 모든 싸움을 포기했다. 그런 사람들은 아직 믿음을 거부하기로 결심하지 않은 사람들에게, 다시 말해 삶을 하나님과 함께 살지 또는 하나님이 없이 살지 결심을 앞두고 있는 사람들에게 경고해주는 사례가 되어야 하고, 인간에게 낙담과 완전한 공허함 만을 가져다준 그런 절망적인 삶을 그들에게 보여줘야 한다. 왜냐하면 그들이 하나님이 없이 살았고, 이로써 하나님으로부터 어떠한 힘의 발산도 받지 않았고, 그러므로 그들의 길이 결코 그들을 높은 곳으로 이끌 수 없기 때문이다.
