Free decision between matter and spirit....

Choose between matter and spirit.... decide in favour of the state of the banished or the state of freedom.... If you are in realization, this decision will not be difficult for you and therefore seek to first attain the right realization.... And if you have the will to do so, the eternal deity will certainly not withhold the right realization from you. For you should only want your thoughts to be right, you should only ever strive for what is true and righteous, then you will also regocnize it and thus also very well be able to make your choice between matter and the spirit. Everything material pulls you down, for matter is part of evil, matter is everything that is distant from God.... while the spirit soars upwards because it is of God. So when you seek spiritual things, you are removed from all earthly heaviness, you approach your actual destiny. Matter and spirit are therefore the opposite of each other.... one must be defeated by the other, and that means redemption, i.e. life.... or damnation, i.e. death. If the spirit triumphs over matter, then it has completely redeemed itself from all bondage and is free.... But if matter is victorious, then the spiritual is banished for eternity, it is in the power of the adversary, who wants to prevent redemption from matter and only ever strives for the increase of matter. And thus both can never be satisfied at the same time.... the spirit cannot liberate itself and at the same time pay homage to matter, for the life of the one always means the death of the other. And therefore it is completely impossible for a person to develop into spiritual maturity who still strives for earthly possessions, for the desire for that which as matter harbours all immature spiritual substances cannot possibly be fulfilled and at the same time the spiritual substance in the human being can reach maturity, for this spiritual substance can only unfold once the fetters have been broken. And bondage is all matter, i.e. everything that harbours undeveloped spirituality. Matter is therefore the shell that must first be broken so that the core can become free. He who does not sacrifice the shell cannot reach the inner fruit, and thus the spirit's covering must also be burst first, i.e. all earthly desire must be sacrificed so that the spirit can now undertake the flight upwards unhindered. And this is the most difficult decision for man.... to consciously give up the one in order to be able to receive the other. The separation from matter is often so difficult for man that he keeps the spirit mercilessly bound within himself. He only sees the apparent value of material things and gives up infinitely precious things in return.... He does not know the advantage of spiritual awakening, he does not know about the spiritual success of a soul that despises the world and its goods.... and therefore does not strive for it. But if his longing for truth has also brought him the right realization, his striving will now only be for the increase of spiritual good, for he will now learn to despise matter and eagerly seek to ascend, for nothing on earth holds him back anymore, his spirit soars upwards, and the thus liberated spirit will also succeed in completely separating itself from everything that hindered it from ascending. The human being has decided of his own free will.... matter means nothing to him, so he has completely overcome it, the spirit is liberated and can enter the spheres of light....

물질과 영 사이의 자유로운 선택.

물질과 영 중에서 선택하라. 너희는 묶임을 받는 상태를 또는 자유한 상태를 결정하라. 너희가 깨달음을 가지고 있다면, 이런 결정을 내리는 일이 너희에게 어렵지 않을 것이다. 그러므로 먼저 올바른 깨달음에 도달하려고 하라. 너희가 그렇게 할 의지가 있다면, 영원한 신성은 확실하게 너희에게 올바른 깨달음을 감추지 않을 것이다. 왜냐하면 너희는 단지 너희의 생각이 옳기를 원하기만 하면 되기 때문이다. 너희는 항상 진실되고 공의로운 것을 위해 노력해야 한다. 그러면 너희는 또한 진실되고 공의로운 것을 깨닫게 될 것이다. 다시 말해 물질과 영 사이에서 너희의 선택을 아주 잘할 수 있게 될 것이다.

모든 물질은 너희를 끌어내린다. 왜냐하면 물질은 악의 일부이기 때문이다. 물질은 하나님을 떠난 모든 것이다. 반면에 영은 하나님에게서 왔기 때문에 높은 곳을 향한다. 그러므로 너희가 영적인 존재를 찾는다면, 너희는 이 땅의 모든 무거운 짐에서 해방이 되고, 너희의 실제 사명에 접근한다. 따라서 물질과 영은 서로 반대이다. 하나는 다른 하나에 의해 정복돼야만 한다. 이는 구속, 즉 생명이거나 또는 저주, 즉 죽음을 의미한다. 영이 물질을 이기면, 그는 모든 속박에서 완전히 구속을 받고 자유롭게 된다.

그러나 물질이 승자라면, 영적인 존재는 생각할 수 없게 긴 기간 동안, 물질로부터 구속을 막으려고 하는, 항상 단지 물질의 증가시키기 위해 노력하는 대적자의 권세 아래 묶임을 받는다. 그러므로 두가지를 동시에 만족시킬 수 없다. 영을 해방시키고, 동시에 물질에 순복할 수 없다. 왜냐하면 하나의 생명이 항상 다른 하나의 죽음을 의미하기 때문이다. 그러므로 사람이 여전히 이 땅의 재물을 위해 노력하는 사람이 영적으로 성장하는 일은 완전히 불가능하다. 왜냐하면 물질로서 성숙하지 못한 모든 영적인 존재들을 포함하고 있는 것을 향한 욕망을 성취시키고, 동시에 사람 안의 영적인 존재를 성숙하게 할 수 없기 때문이다. 이런 영적인 존재들은 사슬로부터 자유롭게 되어야 비로소 성장할 수 있기 때문이다.

사슬은 모든 물질이다. 다시 말해 모든 성숙하지 못한 영적인 존재들을 담고 있다. 그러므로 물질은 핵심이 자유롭게 되도록 폭파시켜야 하는 겉형체이다. 그러므로 먼저 겉형체를 희생시키지 않고는 그 안의 열매를 얻을 수 없다. 그러므로 영의 겉형체를 먼저 폭파시켜야 한다. 다시 말해 모든 이 땅의 욕망을 희생해야만 한다. 이로써 영이 이제 방해받지 않고 위를 향해 날아오를 수 있게 해야 한다. 다른 것을 받을 수 있기 위해 의식적으로 한 가지를 희생하는 일은 인간에게 가장 어려운 결정이다.

물질과의 분리하는 일이 자주 사람에게 너무 어려워, 그는 자신 안의 영을 무자비하게 묶어 둔다. 그는 물질의 외적인 가치만을 보고 무한한 가치를 가진 것을 포기한다. 그는 영이 깨어나는 일의 유익을 알지 못한다. 세상과 세상의 재물을 경멸하는 혼의 영적 성공에 대해 알지 못한다. 그러므로 그는 영을 추구하지 않는다.

그러나 진리를 향한 그의 갈망이 그에게 올바른 지식을 주었다면, 그가 이제 추구하는 일은 단지 영적인 재물을 증가시키는 일이다. 왜냐하면 그는 이제 물질을 경시하는 법을 배우고, 높은 곳에 도달하기 위해 모든 열심을 다해 노력하기 때문이다. 어떤 것도 그를 더 이상 이 땅에 묶어둘 수 없기 때문에, 그의 영은 위를 향해 솟아오르고, 이렇게 해방이 된 영은 높은 곳으로 향하는 일을 방해하는 모든 장애물을 완전히 극복하는 성공을 하게 될 것이다. 인간은 자신의 자유의지로 결정했고, 그에게 물질은 아무 의미가 없다. 그러므로 그는 물질을 완전히 극복했고, 영은 해방이 되었고, 밝은 영역 안으로 들어갈 수 있다.
