Closeness of God.... Earthly goods.... Renunciation and sacrifice....

Bring to the Lord all that is dear to you and worthy of you, and you will be allowed to exchange them for far more beautiful things and receive them from His hand. But those who take pleasure in earthly things and do not want to give anything away will also be chained to matter.... They live one day at a time, but their hearts will never find the sweet peace that is only given to those earthly children, who willingly part with everything that is earthly....

To become worthy of nearness to God, is such priceless goodness that all earthly goods collapse into nothing before it. Blinded by the fictitious goods of the earth, people find it difficult to separate themselves from it; they only always strive to increase these goods, and do not see thereby that the spiritual death accompanies these.... that they are led through a long, dark tunnel, which often have no end during their time on earth....

The sun, the brightly shining daylight, they carelessly give up for a dazzling work, which however brings their spirit a dark night.... and thus the spiritual death - if humans do not come to the spiritual realization and sacrifice everything for this in order to attain for it the light of the Divine mercy-sun. Heaven's highest honors will be bestowed on those who never sought honor on earth.... and heaven's highest pleasure will be their share, who on earth willingly gave up for the sake of the Lord....

Thus the Lord repays a thousand times what is sacrificed for His sake, and He considers each one according to his deeds on earth.... but each one will have to consider that he does not prefer the goods of the earth to those of eternity.... Because earthly property caters only for the well-being of the body and provides you with purely bodily pleasures.... it gives you reputation only before humans.... for eternity, it is completely worthless, yes far rather obstructive, because it will make the way upward more difficult for you.... but a heart that gives everything and has no joy in earthly possessions and recognizes only the Lord as a desirable possession, will be considered in all fullness in eternity and will increase it's spiritual possessions and wisely provide for all the needs of the soul, and it will, because it gave, receive unmeasured what will bring it highest bliss....

Proximidade a Deus.... Bens terrenos.... Renúncia e sacrifício....

Ofereça ao Senhor tudo o que é querido e valioso para você e você poderá trocar coisas muito mais bonitas e recebê-las de Sua mão. Mas aqueles que gostam de coisas terrenas e não querem dar nada, também são agarrados a matéria como correntes.... vivem um dia após o outro mas o seu coração nunca encontra a doce paz que só é concedida às crianças terrenas que voluntariamente se separam de tudo o que é terreno.... Tornar-se digno da proximidade de Deus é um bem tão inestimável que todos os bens terrenos afundam no nada, em comparação com ele. As pessoas estão cegas pelos falsos bens da terra e têm dificuldade em se separar deles, elas só se esforçam para aumentar esses bens e não conseguem ver que a morte espiritual anda de mãos dadas.... que elas são conduzidas por um longo e escuro túnel que muitas vezes não quer acabar durante o seu tempo na terra.... Eles dão descuidadamente o sol, a luz brilhante da luz do dia, para um trabalho deslumbrante que, no entanto, traz a noite escura ao seu espírito.... e, portanto, a morte espiritual, se o ser humano ainda não alcançar o conhecimento espiritual e sacrificar tudo isso para obter em troca a luz do sol divino da graça. As maiores honras do céu são conferidas àquele que nunca procurou honras na terra.... e o maior prazer do céu será a porção deles que renunciaram de bom grado na terra, por amor do Senhor.... Assim, o Senhor paga mil vezes o que é sacrificado por Sua causa, e Ele considera cada um de acordo com suas obras na terra.... mas cada um terá que considerar que não prefere os bens terrenos aos bens da eternidade.... Para os bens terrenos, só lhe ganharão o bem-estar do corpo e lhe proporcionarão prazeres puramente físicos.... só lhe dá prestígio perante os homens.... Por outro lado, por toda a eternidade, é completamente inútil, na verdade é muito mais um obstáculo, pois tornará o seu caminho para cima mais difícil.... mas um coração que dá tudo e não tem prazer nos bens terrenos e só reconhece o Senhor como um bem pelo qual vale a pena lutar, será considerado em toda a plenitude na eternidade e aumentará os seus bens espirituais e sabiamente proverá todas as necessidades da alma e, por ter dado, receberá sem medida o que lhe dará a maior felicidade....
