5496 An unusual grant of strength in time of need through God's Word....

September 28, 1952: Book 60

Open up all your hearts when My Word touches you and know that it is an unusual gift of grace which My love still bestows upon you before the end. Be aware that it is a gift of strength which enables you to survive the coming time unharmed of your soul, where you will find it difficult to resist the forces of darkness. You are facing the end but no human being needs to fear bodily death once the soul is ready to enter the kingdom of the beyond, and I want to make this readiness possible for you by giving you My Word, for as soon as you receive clarification about your task on earth, as soon as your actual purpose becomes clear to you and you are of good will, you will also lose your fear of bodily death because you are certain of it that you cannot die in regard to your soul and that this soul will one day enjoy eternal life. I give you light and strength and enlightenment, the means to achieve your aim, I give you spiritual strength which you may request and receive without measure. Open your hearts if My Word touches you.... For this imparts strength to you in abundance. Life will soon be over for every one of you humans, except for the few whom I will call on the last day, whom I will fetch into a realm of peace, whom I have chosen as the stock of the new generation.... But all others can no longer expect a long life, and blessed are those whom I call away from earth before the last day, for these are not condemned to banishment on the new earth.... Yet there will still be unspeakable hardship before the end comes.... But I want to make this hardship bearable for everyone and I therefore give you humans that which helps you and gives you strength.... My Word. Open your hearts if it touches you and you will feel that it is a gift of love from your Father in heaven, and every earthly adversity will seem small to you as soon as you are connected to Me through listening to My Word. And don't sever this connection with Me, cling to My hand firmly, live according to My will, obey My commandments of love for Me and your neighbor, call upon Me in every adversity of body and soul, let Me always be present to you through constant activity in love.... Obey what My Word tells you to do, but then accept the promises also... know that I fully stand by My Word and will give you whatever you ask of Me.... For you shall approach the end with your soul strengthened, you shall look up from where He will come Who announces Himself to you through His Word. Much hardship will befall the earth but also much grace and blessing will be granted to those who open themselves, who want to receive a means of strength from the Father's hand and who therefore need not fear the end because they are able to persevere even if hell and its inhabitants will attack the confessors of My name.... For I Myself Am and will remain with you who want to be Mine, and I protect you against all attacks by My adversary. For I Myself come to you in the Word, and you should therefore open your hearts, you should hear My knocking if I desire entrance, for I want to bring you a good gift, My Word, which gives you light and strength so that your soul will not suffer any harm....
