Liebe.... Freude am Geben.... Gegenliebe.... Glaube an Erlösungswerk Christi....

Erwecket euch zu neuem Leben.... Suchet in euch die Flamme der Liebe zu entzünden, gebet ihr immer neue Nahrung und entzündet dadurch die Liebe zu Gott, die euch ewig selig macht. Dann sichert ihr euch das ewige Leben, einen Zustand voller Kraft und Licht in ungehemmter Freiheit. Dann könnet ihr tätig sein nach eurem Willen, dann habt ihr auch den Tod überwunden, denn jegliche Kraftlosigkeit, jegliche Schwäche fällt von euch ab, und ihr werdet leben und selig sein. Doch nur die Liebe bringt solches zuwege, und diese kann euch nicht gegeben werden, ihr müsset sie selbst in euch entzünden. Ihr müsset helfen, wo Hilfe erforderlich ist, und, durch das Gefühl innerer Beseligung angeregt, immer neue Liebeswerke vollbringen, dann werdet ihr das Feuer in euch ständig unterhalten, ihr werdet ihm Nahrung zuführen, ihr werdet unausgesetzt in uneigennütziger Liebe tätig sein. Nur die Freude des Gebens spornt euch zu erneutem Liebeswirken an, und diese werdet ihr erfahren, so ihr in die Augen des notleidenden Mitmenschen sehet, so ihr ihm geholfen habt. Es ist ein Lohn, der schöner ist als materieller Lohn, denn es ist Gegenliebe, die euch aus jenen Augen erstrahlt. Ihr habt dann im Herzen des Mitmenschen wieder die Liebe entzündet, ihr habt ein Fünkchen auflodern lassen, und wieder breitet sich die Flamme der Liebe aus und teilet sich den Mitmenschen mit. Und nur vereintes Liebeswirken kann die Menschheit erlösen aus dem Zustand geistiger Not, in den sie geraten ist. Nur Liebeswirken trägt Licht und Gnade ein und führet euch zu Gott, Der die ewige Liebe ist.

Doch je näher das Ende ist, desto mehr wird die Liebe erkalten unter den Menschen, denn sie leben nur für sich und haben für die Not der Mitmenschen kein Herz. Und darum wird auch die Gottferne immer deutlicher, die Kluft zwischen den Menschen und Gott ist fast unüberbrückbar geworden, die Finsternis in den Herzen der Menschen undurchdringlich, denn das Licht der Liebe kann nicht erstrahlen und darum keine Helligkeit geben, und der Eine, Der helfen könnte, wird nicht angerufen, weil Er nicht anerkannt wird.... Jesus Christus, der göttliche Erlöser, kann nicht die Gnaden Seines Erlösungswerkes austeilen, Er wird nicht darum angegangen, weil die Menschen nicht an Ihn glauben. Und es ist dies das Schlimmste, denn dann fehlt ihnen jegliche Kraft und Unterstützung, ohne die sie aber nicht selig werden können. Die Menschen glauben nicht mehr daran, was ihnen zu glauben angeraten wird, und so sie den göttlichen Erlöser nicht anerkennen, rufen sie Ihn auch nicht an um Hilfe, und darum sind sie finsteren Geistes und also in größter Not. Sie befinden sich schon im Tode und könnten wohl daraus errettet werden, doch nimmermehr ohne Liebe, nimmermehr ohne göttliche Gnade, wozu aber stets der Wille des Menschen sich bekennen muß. Suchet euch zum Leben zu erwecken.... ihr könnt es, so ihr es nur wollt.... Übet die uneigennützige Nächstenliebe, und dann wird es euch auch leichtfallen, Jesus Christus als Erlöser der Welt und Gottes Sohn anzuerkennen, denn dann gibt euch euer Geist selbst Erhellung, so daß ihr glauben könnet, weil ihr in der Liebe steht. Erwecket euch zu neuem Leben, denn nahe ist die Stunde, wo es sich entscheidet, ob die Seele das Leben oder den Tod gewählt hat. Nützet jede Gelegenheit, euch in Nächstenliebe zu betätigen, und wohltuend werdet ihr es empfinden, daß ein neues Leben euch durchzieht.... Dann habt ihr den Tod überwunden und brauchet das letzte Ende nicht zu fürchten, denn dann steht ihr selbst im Licht und in der Wahrheit, und ihr werdet leben ewiglich....

Love.... Pleasure of giving.... Reciprocated love.... Belief in Christ's act of Salvation....

Awaken to new life.... Try to kindle the flame of love in you, constantly provide it with new nourishment and thereby ignite your love for God, which will make you eternally happy. Then you will be assured of eternal life, a state of abundant strength and light in unlimited freedom. Then you will be able to do whatever you want, you will have conquered death, for all lack of strength, all weakness will fall away from you and you will live and be blissfully happy. Yet this can only be accomplished by love and love cannot be given to you, you must kindle it in yourselves. You must help where help is needed and, animated by the feeling of inner happiness, constantly accomplish new deeds of love, then you will always keep the fire within you burning, you will feed it and be constantly active with unselfish love. Only the pleasure of giving spurs you into renewed kind-hearted activity, and you will experience this when you look into a needy fellow human being's eyes after you have helped him. This reward is far nicer than material payment, for it is reciprocated love which shines forth from these eyes. Then you will have kindled love in your fellow human being's heart again, a tiny spark will have been ignited by you and once again the flame of love will spread and communicate itself to other people. Only a united activity of love can redeem the human race from the state of spiritual hardship it finds itself in. Only loving activity results in light and grace and leads you to God, the eternal Love Himself. However, the closer it gets to the end the more love will grow cold amongst people, since they only live for their own ends and have no heart for the suffering of their fellow human beings. The distance to God will therefore become ever more obvious, the gulf between people and God will have almost become unbridgeable, the darkness in people's hearts impenetrable, for the light of love will not be able to shine forth and therefore not provide illumination, and the One Who would be able to help is not called upon, because He is not acknowledged.... Jesus Christ, the divine Redeemer, will be unable to distribute the blessings of His act of Salvation, He will not be approached for them because people don't believe in Him. And this is the worst situation, for then they will lack all strength and support without which, however, they cannot become happy. People no longer believe what they are advised to believe, and if they don't acknowledge the divine Redeemer they will not call upon Him either, consequently they are spiritually unenlightened and therefore suffer profound hardship. They are already in a state of death and could certainly be delivered from it yet never without love, never without divine grace, but the human will must always profess to it first. Try to awaken yourselves to life.... you are able to do so if only you wanted it.... Practise unselfish neighbourly love and you will find it easy to acknowledge Jesus Christ as the Redeemer of the world and as the Son of God, for then the spirit within you will enlighten you, so that you will be able to believe because you live a life of love. Awaken to new life, for the hour is close at hand when it will be decided as to whether the soul has chosen life or death. Make use of every opportunity to actively practise neighbourly love, and you will experience the beneficial feeling that you are infused by new life.... Then you will have conquered death and need not fear the final end, for then you will be living in light and truth, and you will live eternally....
