Wirken des Geistes.... Ausgießung des heiligen Geistes....

Ihr vernehmet des Herrn Stimme in verschiedener Weise.... Nehmet alles dankend in Empfang, was euch geboten wird, und achtet nur des Liebegeistes in euch. Denn seiner Stärke entsprechend werdet ihr bedacht werden. Und darum zweifelt nicht, wenn die verschiedene Form des Empfangens euch zu denken gibt. Denn der Liebesgrad in euch bestimmt diese Form, d.h., die Äußerung des göttlichen Geistes wird desto offensichtlicher in Erscheinung treten, je tiefer der Mensch von der Liebe durchdrungen ist. Ein schwächeres Liebeswirken aber kann auch göttliches Geisteswirken zur Folge haben, nur in einer weniger überzeugenden Weise, so daß es nicht sofort als Geisteswirken erkannt wird, obgleich das Ergebnis, die gedankliche Tätigkeit, übereinstimmt mit den direkten Offenbarungen, die ein zutiefst in der Liebe stehender Mensch entgegennehmen darf.... Die reine Lehre Christi wird immer allen Offenbarungen zugrunde liegen. Sowie also das direkt empfangene Wort und auch die Gedankentätigkeit des wahrheitssuchenden Menschen mit der reinen Lehre Christi übereinstimmt, kann auch vom Wirken des göttlichen Geistes gesprochen werden.... Denn das direkt empfangene Wort wird stets nur die reine Lehre Christi aus den Himmeln genannt werden können, und jegliche Umänderung, also jegliche Lehre, die abweicht von diesem reinen Wort Gottes, kann als menschliches Beiwerk angesehen und daher abgelehnt werden. Es wird der Geist Gottes stets die Menschen recht leiten, sowohl in ihrem Denken als auch im Handeln und Reden. Er wird auch die Menschen zusammenführen, denen es ernstlich um die Wahrheit zu tun ist, die das Rechte anstreben und Gott dienen wollen.... denn ihre innerste Gesinnung ist maßgebend, die in der Zwiesprache mit Gott zum Ausdruck kommt. Diese Menschen werden auch der Offenbarungen Gottes gewürdigt werden und sie werden voller Überzeugung sein, recht zu denken und um die Wahrheit zu wissen.... (8.9.1942) Des Geistes Wirken wird daher überall dort erkennbar sein, wo sich die Menschen ernsthaft damit befassen, in geistige Gebiete einzudringen.... wo der ernsthafte Wille vorhanden ist, die Wahrheit zu ergründen, und wo Gott durch das Gebet zu Rate gezogen wird. Denn dort wird stets die Gedankentätigkeit unter der Kontrolle wissender Geistwesen stehen, also es werden jene suchenden Menschen gehindert, falsch zu denken, und die rechten, der Wahrheit entsprechenden Gedanken werden ihnen ständig von diesen Wesen übermittelt. Denn das ist das Wirken des Geistes im Menschen, daß die Gedankentätigkeit eine geordnete ist, daß der Mensch folgerichtig und klar denken muß und daher keine irrigen Ansichten zu fürchten braucht. Er wird stets zu unterscheiden vermögen die Wahrheit vom Irrtum, und er wird keinen Menschen dazu benötigen, sondern gewissermaßen durch sich selbst wissend werden, weil er sein Gedankengut als eigen gewonnen ansieht. Immer aber ist es die Kraft des Geistes, die ihn durchdringt, die den Geistesfunken in ihm antreibt, sich zu äußern, also sich der Seele kundzutun, so daß nun der Mensch als solcher die Gaben des Geistes entgegennimmt, er also von innen heraus belehrt wird in der reinen Wahrheit. Doch immer ist Bedingung, daß der Mensch sich in der Liebe übet, ansonsten der Geist aus Gott nicht in ihm wirken kann. Wo jedoch ein Liebeleben geführt wird, dort muß auch das geistige Wissen gleich sein, dort müssen die Gedanken und Anschauungen übereinstimmen, und also müssen alle Gedanken derer als Geistwirken anerkannt und bewertet werden. Und darum werden liebetätige und liebefähige Menschen immer gleichen Geistes sein, denn Gott wird Sich stets durch solche Menschen äußern, nur wird Sein Wirken oft nicht erkannt als das, was es ist.... als die Ausgießung des heiligen Geistes.... Denn es wissen die Menschen nicht mehr, was sie darunter verstehen sollen. Sie sind selbst so weit entfernt von der Liebe, daß das Wirken Gottes in ihnen unmöglich geworden ist, und ohne dieses Wirken Gottes im Menschen wissen sie nichts von der Wahrheit, wenngleich sie im Wissen zu stehen glauben. Und was der Wahrheit entspricht, erkennen sie nicht als solche, bevor sie nicht gleichfalls erleuchtet sind vom heiligen Geist, bevor also Gott Selbst in ihnen wirkt durch Seinen Geist. Denn Gott hat wohl Grenzen gesetzt für die Menschen, die nicht Seinem Willen entsprechend leben, Er enthält aber das Wissen jenen nicht vor, die alle Vorbedingungen erfüllen, um von Seinem Geist erleuchtet zu werden....

Working of the spirit.... outpouring of the holy spirit....

You hear the voice of the lord in various ways.... Thankfully accept everything that is offered to you and only pay attention to the spirit of love within you. For you will be given according to its strength. And therefore do not doubt if the different form of receiving gives you food for thought. For the degree of love in you determines this form, i.e., the expression of the divine spirit will appear the more obviously the deeper the human being is permeated by love. A weaker activity of love, however, can also result in divine spiritual activity, only in a less convincing way, so that it is not immediately recognized as spiritual activity, although the result, the mental activity, corresponds to the direct revelations which a person who is deeply imbued by love may receive.... The pure teaching of Christ will always underlie all revelations. Therefore, as soon as the directly received word and also the thought activity of the truth-seeking person corresponds with the pure teaching of Christ, it is also possible to speak of the working of the divine spirit.... For the directly received word can only ever be called the pure teaching of Christ from the heavens, and any change, i.e. any teaching that deviates from this pure word of God, can be regarded as a human addition and therefore rejected. The spirit of God will always guide people correctly, both in their thinking and in their actions and speech. He will also bring together people who are serious about the truth, who strive for what is right and want to serve God.... because their innermost attitude, which is expressed in dialogue with God, is decisive. These people will also be honoured by God's revelations and they will be full of conviction to think rightly and to know the truth....

(8.9.1942) The working of the spirit will therefore be recognizable wherever people seriously concern themselves with penetrating spiritual spheres.... where there is a serious will to fathom the truth and where God is consulted through prayer. For there the thought activity will always be under the control of knowing spiritual beings, thus those searching people will be prevented from thinking wrongly and the right thoughts, which correspond to the truth, will constantly be conveyed to them by these beings. For this is the working of the spirit in the human being, that thought activity is organized, that the human being has to think logically and clearly and therefore need not fear erroneous opinions. He will always be able to distinguish truth from error, and he will not need a human being to do so but will become knowledgeable through himself, so to speak, because he regards his thoughts as having been gained by himself. But it is always the strength of the spirit which permeates him, which impels the spiritual spark in him to express itself, thus to make itself known to the soul, so that the human being as such accepts the gifts of the spirit, thus he is instructed in the pure truth from within. But it is always a condition that man practices love, otherwise the spirit out of God cannot work in him. However, where a life of love is lived, the spiritual knowledge must also be the same, the thoughts and views must agree, and thus all their thoughts must be recognized and valued as the working of the spirit. And that is why people who are active in love and capable of love will always be of the same spirit, for God will always express Himself through such people, only His working is often not recognized for what it is.... as the outpouring of the Holy spirit.... For people no longer know what they should understand by this. They themselves are so far removed from love that God's working in them has become impossible, and without this working of God in the human being they know nothing of the truth, even though they believe themselves to be in the knowledge. And they do not recognize what corresponds to the truth as such until they are likewise enlightened by the holy spirit, thus until God Himself works in them through His spirit. For God has indeed set limits for people who do not live in accordance with His will, but He does not withhold knowledge from those who fulfil all preconditions in order to be enlightened by His spirit....
