Das Wort Gottes geistiges Gut oder totes Wort....

Jede Sendung von oben ist geistiges Gut, sowie der Mensch davon Besitz ergreift, d.h. es aufnimmt mit Herz und Verstand. Zuvor aber sind es nur Worte, die erst Leben gewinnen sollen durch den Willen des Menschen. Prüft der Mensch nur mit dem Verstand, dann wird er nicht alles annehmen wollen, und das Wissen darum trägt ihm keinen geistigen Vorteil ein. Ist aber das Herz dabei tätig, d.h., ist er liebefähig, dann prüfet nicht der Verstand, sondern der Geist in ihm, und dieser nimmt bedenkenlos alles an, was aus der Höhe geboten wird. Und dann gereicht das Wissen der Seele zum Fortschritt. Denn dann wird das Wort lebendig, es regt zur Tätigkeit an, es geht in dauernden Besitz über, es ist geistiges Gut, das Bestand hat bis in alle Ewigkeit. Die Gaben, die Gott bietet, können niemals wertlos sein, sondern nur in ihrem Wert nicht recht erkannt werden, und es ist dies so lange der Fall, wie das menschliche Herz nicht aufnahmefähig ist wegen mangelnder Liebetätigkeit. Es wird aber dennoch auch den Menschen vermittelt, die noch wenig in der Liebe stehen, auf daß sie verstandesmäßig die göttliche Sendung entgegennehmen und dadurch zur Liebetätigkeit angeregt werden sollen. Also muß wieder erst der Wille tätig werden, das Wort in die Tat umzusetzen, dann eignet sich der Mensch das geistige Gut an, indem ihm nun auch das Verständnis aufgeht für den Sinn dessen, was ihm geboten wird. Die Gnadengabe kann sonach höchsten geistigen Wert haben und die höchsten geistigen Erfolge nach sich ziehen, sie kann aber auch völlig unerkannt bleiben als totes Wort, weil der Mensch nicht geistig zu leben begehrt. Dennoch verliert sie nicht an Wert und kann jederzeit auf den Menschen ihre Wirkung ausüben, so dieser selbst dazu beiträgt, von dieser Wirkung Gebrauch zu machen. Was ihm zuerst unverständlich und unglaubwürdig erscheint, kann durch seinen Willen zu liebender Betätigung von ihm sowohl verstandesmäßig als auch mit dem Herzen bejaht werden und folglich zu jeder Zeit als geistiges Gut entgegengenommen werden, weil es seinen inneren Wert niemals verlieren kann. Denn die Sendungen von oben kommen aus dem Reiche des Geistigen und werden nur dann von Wirkung sein, wenn sie dem Geistesfunken im Menschen zugeführt werden und diesem nun die Verwertung überlassen bleibt.... d.h., sein Wissen auch dem Verstand des Menschen zu vermitteln, daß er es aufnimmt und der Mensch nun diesem Wissen entsprechend lebt....

The word of God spiritual good or dead word....

Every transmission from above is spiritual good as soon as the person takes possession of it, i.e. receives it with heart and mind. Before that, however, they are only words that are only meant to gain life through the human being's will. If the human being only examines it with his intellect then he will not want to accept everything and the knowledge of it will not bring him any spiritual advantage. But if the heart is active, i.e., if he is capable of love, then it is not the intellect that tests him but the spirit within him, and this accepts without hesitation everything that is offered from above. And then the soul's knowledge will lead to progress. For then the word comes alive, it stimulates activity, it becomes a permanent possession, it is spiritual good that endures for all eternity. The gifts God offers can never be worthless, they can only be unrecognized in their value, and this is the case as long as the human heart is not receptive due to a lack of loving activity. Nevertheless, it is also imparted to people who still have little love, so that they intellectually accept the divine mission and thereby should be stimulated into loving activity. Thus the will must first become active again to put the word into action, then the human being appropriates the spiritual good by now also becoming aware of the meaning of what is offered to him. The gift of grace can therefore have the highest spiritual value and result in the highest spiritual successes, but it can also remain completely unrecognized as a dead word because the human being does not desire to live spiritually. Nevertheless, it does not lose its value and can exert its effect on a person at any time if he himself contributes to making use of this effect. What at first appears incomprehensible and unbelievable to him can be affirmed by him both intellectually and with the heart through his will to loving activity and consequently be received as spiritual good at any time because it can never lose its intrinsic value. For the transmissions from above come from the realm of the spiritual and will only have an effect if they are conveyed to the spiritual spark in the human being and it is then left to the latter to utilize it...., i.e., to impart its knowledge to the human being's intellect so that he receives it and the human being then lives in accordance with this knowledge....
