Sphäre der Seele.... Lebendige Träger des Gotteswortes.... Irdische Aufgabe....

Achte nun auf die Worte, die dir zugehen aus der Höhe.... Der Geist des Menschen hat die Fähigkeit, sich über alles Irdische zu erheben und in einer Region, die dem Körper unzugänglich ist, Aufenthalt zu nehmen, sooft er nur will. Er lässet dann wohl den Körper auf der Erde zurück und schwinget sich in Gedankenschnelle aus der Erdensphäre in die Sphäre jenseitiger Geistwesen. Die Verbindung mit der Erde und ihrer Materie ist nur der Körper eingegangen, nimmer aber die Seele und der göttliche Geist. Diese können sich willkürlich von der sie umgebenden körperlichen Hülle frei machen und Aufenthalt nehmen ganz ihrem Willen gemäß in der Höhe oder auch in der Tiefe. Nicht der geringste Zwang kann ausgeübt werden auf diese dem Körper entwichene Seele.... Die Sphäre, in der sie zuweilen gedenkt, ist von ihr frei gewählt und wird sich natur-gemäß immer dem Reifezustand anpassen, in dem die Seele sich befindet. Und es wird nur die geringste Zeit vonnöten sein, ein in geistigen Regionen sich aufhaltendes Erdenwesen so auszureifen, daß es das Erdental verlassen kann.... doch ist einem solchen Menschen oft eine Aufgabe zugewiesen, zu deren Ausführung längere Zeit erforderlich ist, als zum eigentlichen Reifezustand benötigt wurde. Es sind solche Fälle äußerst selten, daß von einer Vervollkommnung auf Erden gesprochen werden kann, doch einem ernstlich Strebenden ist es wohl möglich, auch in kürzerer Zeit das irdische Leben mit allen Reizen und Verlockungen, mit allen Gefahren für die Seele, zu überwinden. Es bleibt dann nur noch die ihm auf Erden bestimmte Tätigkeit zu erfüllen und sich rührig zu betätigen im Willen des Herrn.... und das in geistiger Beziehung. Es sind solche Menschen dazu berufen, einen festen Ankerpunkt zu bieten den vielen Schwachen, von Wind und Wetter des irdischen Lebens umhergeworfenen irrenden Seelen auf Erden, die sich bisher wenig oder gar nicht um ihr Seelenheil bekümmerten. Und es werden solche Menschen in weitaus kürzerer Zeit die ihnen zugewiesene Aufgabe erfüllen, weil sie selbst die Gnade des Herrn an sich verspürten und nun eifrig und überzeugt sich für etwas einsetzen können, das der ausschließlichen Förderung der Seele gilt. Und darum wird deine Tätigkeit auf Erden dir wohl das irdische Leben sichern, dich aber an erster Stelle in (den = d. Hg.) Stand setzen, alle vernommene Weisheit den Erdengeschwistern mitzuteilen, und so wirket das Wort Gottes unausgesetzt durch sich selbst.... Es wird vernehmen, wer Verlangen trägt danach, und es wird die geistige Welt nur immer sich bemühen, dieses Wort den Erdenmenschen zu übermitteln, um so standhafte, redegewandte und völlig unterrichtete Lehrkräfte auszubilden, die lebendige Träger des Gotteswortes sind und die in weiser Voraussicht des Herrn erwählt wurden zur Festigung des Wortes Gottes unter der Menschheit. Und so wird sich das Außergewöhnliche auf Erden vollziehen, daß wissen wird um das Wort Gottes, wer bisher unwissend durch das Erdenleben ging.... und daß das Wissen der Weltweisen zu nichts anderem von Nutzen sein wird als zur Deckung des leiblichen Bedürfnisses des Menschen. Doch wessen die Seele bedarf, das gibt der Herr Selbst als Speise.... Er nährt, die Ihn um Speise und Trank angehen, und läßt ihnen solche direkt aus den Himmeln zugehen, und die jenseitige Welt der Geister schließt sich gänzlich dem Willen des Herrn an und wirket unablässig zur Ehre des Höchsten, indem sie Kunde gibt von aller Herrlichkeit, die, von Gott geschaffen, Seinen Kindern zugehen soll in Ewigkeit. Und so wird die Wahrheit verkündet werden jedem Erdenkind, das zu dienen bereit ist.... Denn dem Demütigen gibt der Herr Seine Gnade....

Sphere of the soul.... living bearers of the word of God.... earthly task....

Now pay attention to the words that come to you from the height.... The spirit of man has the ability to rise above all earthly things and to take up residence in a region that is inaccessible to the body as often as he wishes. He then leaves the body behind on earth and swings out of the earthly sphere into the sphere of otherworldly spiritual beings in the blink of an eye. Only the body has entered into a connection with the earth and its matter, but never the soul and the divine spirit. These can free themselves at will from the bodily cover surrounding them and take up residence completely according to their will in the height or also in the depth. Not the slightest compulsion can be exerted on this soul that has escaped the body.... The sphere in which it sometimes thinks is freely chosen by it and will naturally always adapt itself to the state of maturity in which the soul finds itself. And only the shortest time will be needed to mature an earthly being staying in spiritual regions such that it can leave the valley of the earth.... yet such a person is often assigned a task which requires more time to be accomplished than was needed for the actual state of maturity. Such cases are extremely rare that one can speak of perfection on earth, but it is certainly possible for a seriously striving person to overcome earthly life with all its attractions and temptations, with all the dangers for the soul, even in a shorter time. It then only remains to fulfil the activity destined for him on earth and to be active in the will of the lord.... and that in spiritual relationship. Such people are called to offer a firm anchor point to the many weak, erring souls on earth who are tossed about by the winds and weathers of earthly life and who have so far cared little or not at all about their soul's salvation. And such people will fulfil the task assigned to them in a far shorter time because they themselves felt the lord's grace in them and can now eagerly and convincingly commit themselves to something which is exclusively for the soul's advancement. And therefore your activity on earth will certainly secure your earthly life but first and foremost put you in a position to impart all the wisdom you have heard to your earthly brothers and sisters, and thus the word of God will constantly work through itself.... It will be heard by those who desire it, and the spiritual world will only ever endeavour to convey this word to people on earth in order to train steadfast, eloquent and fully instructed teachers who are living carriers of God's word and who have been chosen by the lord with wise foresight for the consolidation of God's word among humanity. And thus the extraordinary will take place on earth, that those who have hitherto walked ignorantly through earthly life will know about the word of God.... and that the knowledge of the worldly wise will be of no other use than to fulfil the human being's physical needs. But what the soul needs, the lord Himself gives as food.... He nourishes those who approach Him for food and drink and sends it to them directly from the heavens, and the world of spirits in the beyond completely joins the lord's will and works ceaselessly to honour the most High by giving news of all the glory which, created by God, is to come to His children in eternity. And thus the truth will be proclaimed to every child on earth who is willing to serve.... For to the humble the lord gives His grace....
