사랑의 삶의 의미.

하나님의 경고는 항상 단지 사랑의 삶을 살라는 것이 될 것이다. 바로 사랑의 삶의 의미가 너희 사람들에게 알려져 있지 않다. 그러나 사랑의 삶이 너희에게 축복과 영원한 삶을 보장하는 유일한 요소이다. 사람은 이를 생각하지 않는다. 사람은 자신의 이 땅의 삶에서 가장 중요한 것에 대한 자세로 사랑보다 다른 것에 더욱 주의를 기울인다.

사람은 매일같이 이 땅이 그의 의무를 행하며 산다. 그러나 그는 심장보다 그의 이성을 더 많이 사용하며 모든 일을 행한다. 그는 모든 것을 찬성할 것인지 반대할 것인지 고려한다. 그는 유익이 되게 역사하려고 시도하고 창조하고 의무에 합당하게 이 땅의 일을 수행하려고 한다.

그러나 그가 얼마나 심장이 참여하였는지 그의 행함에 사랑이 얼마나 결정적인지 결산하려고 하지 않는다. 그러나 사랑이 없이 행한 모든 일은 유익이 없다. 바로 날마다 행하는 일도 일을 행하는 대상인 사람을 향한 어느 정도의 사랑을 볼 수 있어야만 한다.

그러나 단지 적은 수의 사람들이 이를 의식한다. 그러므로 서서히 사람의 성품이 변화되는 일이 자기 사랑이 이웃 사랑으로 변화되는 일이 또는 사랑이었던 원래의 성품으로 다시 변화되는 일이 이뤄지지 않으면, 많은 사람들에게 전 생애가 헛될 수 있다.

대부분의 모든 행동은 어떠한 유익 때문에 행해진다. 그러나 자신을 생각하지 않는 사랑을 행하는 일은 단지 희귀하다. 이런 행함은 사람의 혼에게 가치있다. 사람은 한번 그날에 전적으로 자신을 생각하지 않는 어떤 사랑을 행하였는지 점검해야 한다. 이런 일은 아주 적을 것이다.

왜냐면 자기 사랑이 아직 더 강하게 지배하기 때문이다. 그렇지 않으면 이 땅이 부인할 수 없게 존재하는 상태처럼 될 수 없을 것이다. 사람은 자신 스스로 얼마나 사랑할 능력이 있는지 점검해야 한다. 다시 말해 그가 이웃의 운명을 불쌍히여기고 이웃을 도우려는 자세가 있는지 점검해야 한다.

모든 사람의 단지 자기 자신의 운명을 생각하고 이 운명을 가능한대로 개선시키려고 한다. 그러나 어떤 사람도 위험 가운데 사는 이웃을 생각하지 않는다. 그러므로 사람이 단지 자신의 의무만을 행하면, 그는 이로써 스스로 만족해서는 안 된다. 그의 영적인 상태는 항상 같은 단계에 머문다.

왜냐면 단지 사랑을 행하는 일 만이 그의 상태를 개선시키기 때문이다. 단지 사랑의 실천이 그의 혼에게 영적인 성장을 준다. 그러므로 너희가 모든 삶의 편안함을 얻으면, 너희가 의무적으로 이런 행복한 삶에 도달하기 위해 모든 것을 행하면, 이런 삶이 놓인 사람들에게 무슨 유익이 있느냐!

이 땅의 삶에서 너희의 모든 노력과 수고가 사랑이 없이 행해지면, 너희가 너희의 삶의 마지막에 가서 너희의 성장에 한 걸음도 전진하지 못하면, 너희가 단지 너희의 세상적인 행복만을 돌보았다면, 너희에게 무슨 유익이 있느냐! 혼은 단지 사랑을 행함을 통해 건강하게 되고 성장할 수 있다.

너희가 이 땅의 과정을 마치면, 유일하게 계속 존재하는 것은 혼이다. 혼은 단지 사랑을 행함을 통해 혼의 원래의 상태로 돌아갈 수 있다. 너희는 바로 사랑을 행하는 일을 가장 심하게 게을리한다. 그러나 너희는 사랑이 없는 역사를 더 잘 행함으로써 혼에게 특별한 짐을 지운다. 이로써 너희는 너희의 이 땅의 과정을 전적으로 아무런 의미가 없게 한다.

너희는 목적에 합당하게 살지 않는다. 너희가 은혜의 선물을 사용하지 않고 이로써 영원한 세계의 영광스러운 운명을 잃으면, 너희는 언젠가 쓰라린 후회를 느낄 것이다. 그러나 너희 사람은 사랑의 삶의 중요성에 대한 가르침 도달할 수 없다.

너희는 너희의 자기 사랑을 통해 이미 깊게 타락했고 너희 영은 어두워졌고 너희는 너희에게 하나님의 사랑의 가르침을 가르쳐주면, 비추이는 빛을 더 이상 깨닫지 못한다. 사람들 가운데 사랑이 식었다. 이는 혼을 위한 이 땅의 삶이 소용이 없게 되었음을 이 땅의 삶의 목적을 깨닫지 못하고 사람의 영의 상태가 어두워 졌음을 의미한다.

단지 스스로 사랑의 삶을 살려고 애를 쓰는 사람이 모든 사랑이 전혀 없이 사는 인류를 위협하는 불행을 깨닫는다. 단지 그가 어두움의 권세자가 사랑이 없는 인류에 대해 권세를 가지고 있다는 것을 안다. 인류는 어두움의 권세자의 말을 듣고 그의 세력 안에 있다. 만약에 인류가 사랑의 무기를 사용해 어두움의 권세자에게 대항하면, 그는 어두움의 권세자로부터 자유롭게 될 수 있다. 왜냐면 대적자가 자신 안에 사랑을 불타오르게 한 사람을 피하기 때문이다. 왜냐면 그의 가까이에 영원한 사랑인 전혀 사랑이 없는 자가 도피하는 하나님 자신이 있기 때문이다.

Meaning of a love life....

God's admonitions will only ever result in a life of love.... Precisely the importance of a life of love is little known to you humans, and yet a life of love is the sole factor which secures your beatitude, an eternal life. And people don't think of that, and they pay more attention to everything else than their own attitude towards the most important thing in earthly life, love.... They go about their earthly duties day in and day out but they do everything more with their intellect than with their heart.... They consider all pros and cons, they try to work and create advantageously and to carry out earthly work dutifully, but they don't account for the extent to which the heart is involved, to what extent love is the determining factor in their actions. And yet, every work done without love is useless.... And even the daily work must show a degree of love for the people for whom it is done. Yet only few people are aware of this, and therefore for many their whole life can be an idle one if a slow transformation of the human being has not taken place.... a transformation from self-love to neighbourly love, or also: a reshaping to the former being, which was love. For the most part, every deed is only done for the sake of a certain advantage, but selfless activity of love is rare, and only the latter is of value for the human being's soul. And people should once give an account of what they have done during the day in complete selfless love.... It will be extremely little, for selfish love is still too predominant or such a state could not exist on earth as it undeniably does. People should also give account to themselves as to what extent they themselves are still capable of love, i.e. how they are touched by their fellow human being's fate and willing to help him. Every person only thinks of his own fate and tries to improve it if possible, but no one thinks of his fellow human being who is in need. And thus no human being may be self-satisfied if he only fulfils his duty. His spiritual state will always remain on the same level, for only an act of love will improve it, only loving activity will bring spiritual maturity to his soul. Therefore, what use is it to you humans if you also provide yourselves with all the comforts of life, if you dutifully do everything in order to gain such a life of well-being, what use are all your efforts and endeavours in earthly life if they were made without love and you have not progressed one step further in your development at the end of your life if you have only taken care of your earthly well-being? The soul could only recover and mature through works of love, and it is the soul alone which will remain when you have completed your earthly course. The soul can only attain its original form through loving activity, and it is precisely this loving activity which you grossly neglect, you rather add unloving works to it and therefore burden the soul extraordinarily.... And thereby you render your earthly life completely useless, you don't live according to purpose and will one day feel bitter remorse that you left a gift of grace unused and thereby missed out on a glorious fate in eternity. But you humans are also inaccessible to teachings about the meaning of a life of love.... You have already sunk so low through your selfish love that your spirit is darkened and you no longer recognize the light which shines towards you when the divine teaching of love is brought to you. Love has grown cold amongst people, and this also means that earthly life is useless for the souls, that the purpose of earthly life is misunderstood and that people's spiritual state has become darkened. And only the one who makes an effort to live a life of love himself also recognizes the disaster which threatens humanity, which lives without any love.... Only he knows that the prince of darkness then also has power over an unloving humanity, that it is in bondage to him and is in his power from which it can only free itself if it uses the weapon of love against him, for he who kindles love in himself will be avoided by the adversary because in his vicinity is God Himself, Who is eternal love and Whom he flees who is devoid of all love....
