모든 사람이 하나님의 사랑의 계명을 안다.

모든 사람이 하나님을 사랑하고 이웃을 사랑하라는 계명을 안다. 왜냐면 모든 사람이 사랑을 행하는 일이 자신에게 어떤 영향을 미치는 지를 스스로 느끼고 그가 나 자신이나 또는 이웃에 의해 충만하게 사랑을 받으면, 그 자신이 항상 행복하게 될 것이라는 점에서 모든 사람의 심장 안에 이런 사랑의 계명이 기록되어 있기 때문이다. 그러므로 그는 또한 이웃이 사랑에 대한 동일한 권리를 가지고 있고 나 자신이 내가 생성되게 한 사람에게 사랑을 요구한다는 결론을 내릴 수 있게 될 것이다.

그러나 사람 안의 모든 사랑의 불씨가 이미 꺼질 수 있고 그가 자기 사랑으로 이웃을 사랑하는 일에 장애물을 만들 수 있다. 그러나 그는 세상에서 설교되고 있고 내 사랑의 가르침인 내 말씀을 통해 내 사랑의 계명을 안다. 그가 이런 가르침을 듣지 못하게 되기를 원할 수 있다. 왜냐면 그가 사랑을 행하도록 절대로 강요받지 않기 때문이다. 그러면 그 자신과 그의 이웃에게 영향을 미치는 고난의 상태가 임하고 그에게 다시 사랑의 계명을 강조해준다. 그 자신이 고난을 당하거나 이웃이 당하는 고난을 통해 이웃을 사랑하도록 분명하게 자극을 받으면, 그 자신이 사랑을 갈망하게 될 것이다.

어느 누구도 내 사랑의 계명을 모르는 가운데 머물렀다고 말할 수 없다. 사람들 가운데 사랑이 아주 적은 일이 내 대적자가 사람들로부터 얻은 권세를 증명하고 사람들이 하나님의 구세주 예수 그리스도에게 주의를 기울이지 않고 그를 인정하지 않고 그러므로 그가 내 대적자의 권세에 넘겨졌고 그들이 예수 그리스도께 도움을 청하지 않으면, 그들이 내 대적자의 권세에 굴복하게 될 것을 증명한다.

내 대적자는 실제 큰 권세를 가지고 있다. 그러나 너희 사람들이 스스로 그에게 이런 권세를 준다. 왜냐면 그가 너희가 그에게 속하도록 너희를 강요할 수 없기 때문이다. 그러나 너희 자신이 자유의지를 가지고 있고 이런 자유의지를 마찬가지로 다른 방향으로 사용할 수 있다. 너희는 너희 자신을 예수 그리스도에게 의탁하고 그에게 너희의 연약함을 아뢰고 너희의 자기 사랑이 아직 강하고 너희가 이런 자기 사랑으로부터 벗어나기를 원한다고 그에게 고백할 수 있다. 그러면 그는 확실하게 너희를 돕고 너희의 의지를 강하게 해줄 것이다.

그러나 너희의 믿음이 너무 적다. 그러나 이런 일도 또한 예수 그리스도 안의 나를 믿는 믿음을 약화시키는 내 대적자의 영향이다. 너희는 실제 그의 영향력에 노출되어 있다. 그럴지라도 너희가 그에 의해 정함을 받을지 또는 너희가 나에게 향할지는 너희의 자유의지이고 너희가 이웃에게 사랑을 행하고 이로써 너희의 나를 향한 사랑을 증명하거나 또는 항상 단지 너희 자신을 생각하여 사랑이 전혀 없는 자에게 너희 자신을 완전히 내어줄지는 너희의 자유의지이다. 너희는 인간으로서 이미 어느 정도의 성숙한 정도에 다시 도달했고 이런 성숙이 너희에게 또한 자유롭게 의사를 정할 능력을 보장한다. 너희는 내 대적자에 의해 강요받을 수 없고 단지 유혹을 받을 수 있다. 나는 마찬가지로 너희에게 강요하지 않는다. 그러나 나는 내 대적자의 유혹에 너희가 사용할 수 있는 많은 은혜로 대처한다. 그러나 사용할지 결정하는 일은 너희 자신에게 달려 있다.

올바른 결정을 내릴 수 없는 사람은 없다. 왜냐면 내가 모든 사람의 심장에 내 일부분인 사랑의 불씨를 넣어주었기 때문이다. 다시 말해 모든 사람이 자신 안에서 사랑을 느낄 수 있지만 그러나 자신에게 영향을 미치도록 허용해야만 하고 어떤 저항도 해서는 안 된다. 그의 생애가 끝날 때까지 그에게 항상 또 다시 내 사랑의 계명이 전해질 것이다. 왜냐면 사람들이 내 사랑의 계명에 주의를 기울이지 않고 이 계명을 성취시키지 못할지라도 그들은 항상 내 사랑의 계명을 들을 것이고 내 사랑의 계명을 모르는 사람은 아무도 없게 된다. 그러나 내 사랑의 계명을 그들에게 항상 단지 가르칠 수 있고 사람이 내 사랑의 계명을 성취시키도록 강요하면서 요구할 수 없다.

사람이 예수 안의 나를 고백할지는 자유의지에 달려 있고 그가 하나님의 사랑의 가르침에 따라 그의 삶을 살고 이로써 그를 괴롭게 하는 자로부터 자유롭게 될지는 자유의지에 달려 있다. 그는 강요받지 않는다. 그러나 그는 모든 면에서 내 지원을 받고 그는 모든 면에서 사랑을 행하도록 자극을 받는다. 왜냐면 사랑이 단지 그를 구속할 수 있기 때문이다.

Every human being knows about the divine commandments of love....

Everyone knows the commandments of love for God and his neighbour, for they are written into every person's heart insofar as everyone feels in himself how a work of love affects him, how he himself will always be happy when he is lovingly thought of by Me Myself or by his neighbour. And thus he will also be able to conclude that his neighbour has the same claim to love and that I Myself also demand love from the person who owes his existence to Me. However, every spark of love can already be stifled in the human being, he can have erected an obstacle in his love for himself for the activity of love for his neighbour. But then he knows about My commandments of love through My word which is preached in the world and which contains My teaching of love. And he can also want to ignore this, for he will never be forced to work with love.... But then states of adversity occur which affect him himself or also his fellow human beings.... And again the commandment of love will be placed before him, he himself will desire love when he is affected by adversity, or he will so obviously be stimulated to practice love on his neighbour through the adversity which has affected him. No human being can say that My commandments of love have remained alien to him.... The fact that there is so little love amongst people is proof of the power My adversary has gained over people.... And this, in turn, proves that the divine redeemer Jesus Christ is not respected, that He is not acknowledged and that He therefore cannot come to people's aid who are at the mercy of My adversary's power and will also succumb to it if they don't turn to Jesus Christ. He certainly has great power but you humans give this power to him yourselves, for he cannot force you to belong to him. But you yourselves have free will and can just as well use it in another direction.... you can entrust yourselves to Jesus Christ and present your weakness to Him, you can also confess to Him that your selfish love is still strong and that you would like to become free of it, and He would certainly help you and give you a strengthening of will.... But you believe too little, for this, too, is My adversary's influence to undermine your faith in Me in Jesus Christ. You are certainly exposed to his influence and yet it is your own free will whether you allow yourselves to be determined by him or whether you turn to Me.... whether you practice love for your fellow human being and thereby prove your love to Me or only ever consider your own ego and thereby completely hand yourselves over to the one who is devoid of all love. As a human being you have already regained a certain maturity, and this maturity also ensures your free power of decision.... You cannot be forced by My adversary, only tempted.... I don't force you either, but I counter his temptations with many graces which you can also use.... but the decision is up to you. And there is no person who could not make the right decision.... for I placed the spark of love in every person's heart, which is My share, i.e., every person can feel love within himself but he has to let himself be touched and must not offer any resistance. And My commandments of love will be presented to him again and again until the end of his life, for even if people don't pay attention to them, even if they fail to fulfil the commandments, they will always hear about them, and they will remain unknown to no human being, but they can only ever be taught but never compulsorily demanded that the human being fulfils them. The freedom of will is decisive as to whether the human being professes Me in Jesus, whether he lives his life in accordance with the divine teaching of love and thus becomes free from his tormentor.... He will not be forced but in every way he will be granted assistance from Me, in every way he will be stimulated into activity of love, because only love can redeem him....
