예수 그리스도. 그의 거룩한 이름.

너희가 세상적이고 영적인 모든 고난 가운데 너희 모두가 알고 있는 지극히 거룩한 분의 이름을 불러야 한다. 그 분은 하나님의 아들이요, 세상의 구세주인 예수 그리스도이다. 그는 하나님의 아들로 이 땅에 임했고 그의 구속사역을 마친 후에 하나님 자신으로서 다시 하늘에 올라갔다. 그러므로 그를 하나님이라고 부를 수 있다. 왜냐면 영원한 신성이 그의 인간의 겉형체 안에서 자신을 나타냈고 영원한 사랑이 완전히 전적으로 인간 예수를 채웠고 그러므로 인간 예수의 혼이 전적으로 신적이 되어 영원한 사랑과 하나가 되었기 때문이다.

인류는 실제 그의 이름을 안다. 그러나 대부분의 사람들이 그의 이름을 단지 실제 선하고 고귀하지만 그가 가진 거룩한 신성을 부인하는 한 사람의 이름으로 평가한다. 그러므로 그들에게 그의 이름은 능력이 없고 그들은 그의 이름을 부르지 않는다. 그는 자신의 이름으로 아버지에게 드려진 모든 기도의 성취를 그들에게 약속했다. 아버지와 하나가 된 그는 이를 믿는 믿음을 자신의 이름을 부름으로 드러내는 사람의 기도에 응답해줄 것이다.

영적인 지식이 전혀 없는 사람들에게 하나님이 인간이 된 문제는 아주 이해할 수 없는 문제여서 사람들이 이런 가르침이 진리임을 의심하고 그러므로 그들은 그의 거룩한 이름의 능력을 절대로 시험해보지 않는다. 그러나 그들의 무지가 진리를 무력화시키지 않는다. 하나님은 그들에게 지식을 주고 올바른 깨달음을 주기 위한 어떤 가능성도 활용하지 않고 남겨 두지 않는다. 이로써 그들이 예수님의 이름의 거룩함을 이해할 수 있게 하고 그들이 그들의 고난 가운데 예수님의 이름을 부르게 한다.

모든 존재의 최종 목표는 자유의지로 자신을 신적인 존재로 만드는 일이다. 사람들이 이 땅의 삶의 목적과 목표를 모른다. 그러므로 사람들이 인간 예수가 그의 이 땅의 삶과 그의 십자가의 죽음으로 달성한 목표를 추구하지 않는다. 예수는 실제 빛의 혼으로 사람들을 그들이 한때 하나님께 반역한 죄로부터 구원하기 위해 이 땅에 임했고 사람들의 혼은 마찬가지로 빛의 혼이었고 인간 예수의 혼처럼 같은 온전한 상태로 하나님에 의해 생성되었다. 그러나 그들은 자유의지로 온전함을 잃었고 자유의지로 하나님께 머물지 않았고 첫번째로 하나님을 떠난 후에 하나님을 대적하는 가운데 머무는 자에게 향했다.

인간 예수가 자신의 십자가의 죽음을 통해 사람들을 구원하기 위해 자신의 어깨에 영의 존재가 한때 지은 큰 죄짐을 짊어졌고 큰 죄짐으로 인해 이 땅에서 인간으로 사는 삶을 살았다. 이 사명을 위해 빛의 혼인 하나님의 아들이 이 땅에 임했다. 그러나 그는 동시에 혼을 하나님처럼 만드는 삶의 모범을 보여주었고 그는 영원한 사랑과 완전한 연합을 이루게 하고 또한 죄악된 이 땅의 사람들로부터 하나님의 형상을 만들 수 있고 모든 힘과 빛을 소유하게 하는 자신의 유익을 구하지 않는 사랑의 삶을 모범적으로 살았다.

인간 예수는 인류에게 증거를 주었고 그의 기적의 역사와 능가할 수 없는 지혜와 마침내 그의 영광스런 승천으로 그의 신적인 힘과 권세를 증명했다. 이런 힘과 권세가 사랑을 행하는 삶의 방식의 효력을 증명했고 모든 사람에게 그들이 예수를 따를 때 같은 목표를 이룰 수 있다는 희망을 주었다. 왜냐면 예수가 사람들에게 약속의 말씀을 주었기 때문이다: 하나님 아버지가 온전하신 것처럼 너희는 온전해질 것이다.

그러므로 사람들이 진지하게 추구하고 예수의 거룩한 이름으로 도움을 청하면, 온전함에 도달하는 일이 가능하다. 왜냐면 구원의 역사를 통해 인류를 짓누르고 인류가 높이 성장하는 모든 일을 불가능하게 인류의 죄짐으로부터 인류를 자유롭게 해주었기 때문이다. 그러므로 예수 그리스도를 세상의 구세주로 인정해야만 한다. 그렇지 않으면 죄짐이 해결되지 않고 모든 사람이 스스로 이런 죄짐을 감당해야만 하고 영원히 목표에 도달할 수 없게 된다.

예수는 인류의 연약한 상태를 알았고 그러므로 인류를 돕기 위해 이 땅에 임했다. 그러나 예수를 인정하지 않고 이로써 예수가 자신을 구원하도록 허용하지 않는 사람은 그의 죄를 벗어날 수 없고 예수 그리스도 없이는 아무도 구원받을 수 없다. 그러나 믿음으로 예수를 부르고 그와 그의 죄를 예수에게 넘기고 도움을 구하고 그의 죄짐에 대한 용서를 구하는 모든 사람은 예수 이름의 힘을 경험할 것이다. 예수의 거룩한 이름을 말하고 이로써 그를 하나님의 아들이요 세상의 구세주로 인정하는 사람은 그를 헛되이 부르지 않게 될 것이다. 그는 자신에 대해 이렇게 말했다. "나와 아버지는 하나이다." "아무도 나를 말미암지 않고는 아버지께 올 수 없다."

Jesus Christ.... His holy name....

The name of Him Who is supremely holy and Whom you should call upon in every earthly and spiritual distress is known to all you humans.... It is Jesus Christ, the son of God and redeemer of the world.... Who descended to earth as the son of God and, after His work of redemption, ascended to heaven as God Himself.... Who is therefore to be addressed as God because the eternal deity manifested Itself in His human shell, the eternal love, Which completely filled the human being Jesus, and therefore His soul became one with it as completely deified. Humanity certainly knows His name, but for the most part His name is only evaluated as that of a human being who was indeed good and noble, but who is denied divinity. For these His name is therefore without power, they do not call upon Him Who has promised them the fulfilment of every prayer sent up to the father in His name. For the father and He are one, and anyone who professes faith in this by calling upon His name will have his prayer answered. For people who lack all spiritual knowledge this problem of God's incarnation is so incomprehensible that they doubt the truth of such teachings and therefore will never test the power of His sanctified name.... Yet their ignorance does not therefore nullify the truth.... And God does not leave any possibility unused to bring knowledge to them, to give them the right clarification, so that they will understand the holiness of the name of Jesus and also call upon Him in their distress.... The ultimate aim of every being is the divinization of itself in free will. People do not know the purpose and aim of their earthly life and therefore do not pursue the aim which the man Jesus achieved with His earthly life and His death on the cross. He indeed descended to earth as a soul of light to fulfil a mission for the first time, to redeem people from a guilt.... from the sin of the former rebellion against God. For their souls had also been souls of light.... they had also come forth from God and stood in the same perfection as the soul of the man Jesus.... Yet they had forfeited their perfection in free will, they had not remained with God but had voluntarily turned away from Him.... to the one who stood opposite God as an adversary after he had been the first to apostatize from God. This great guilt, which the spiritual beings had once incurred and the consequence of which is earthly life as a human being, was taken upon His shoulder by the man Jesus in order to redeem it through His death on the cross.... And because of this mission the soul of light.... the son of God.... descended to earth. But at the same time He lived to men this life which results in the deification of the soul.... He lived a life of unselfish love for them which leads to complete union with the eternal love, which can also shape a divine image out of a sinful earthly human being and leads to the full possession of strength and light.... The man Jesus gave humanity the proof, for His miracles, His unsurpassable wisdom and finally His glorious Ascension proved His divine strength and power.... they proved the effect of a way of life in love and give all people the hope of being able to achieve the same aim if they live as followers of Jesus.... For He gave people the promise: You shall become perfect as your father in heaven is perfect.... So it is also possible to achieve this perfection if it is seriously striven for and if His holy name is called upon for help. For through the act of salvation the burden has been lifted from humanity which pressed it to the ground and made all ascent to heaven impossible.... But for this reason Jesus Christ must also be acknowledged as the redeemer of the world.... otherwise the guilt of sin is not redeemed, otherwise every human being has to cope with this burden himself and eternally cannot reach the aim.... Jesus knew about this weakened state of humanity and therefore descended to earth in order to help it, yet no-one can be released from his guilt who does not acknowledge Him and who therefore cannot let himself be redeemed by Him either.... No-one can become blessed without Jesus Christ.... But everyone will experience the power of His name who faithfully calls upon Him and hands himself and his guilt over to Him and asks Him for help and forgiveness of his guilt. No one will call upon Him in vain who speaks His holy name and thereby acknowledges Him as the son of God and redeemer of the world, Who said of Himself: "I and the father are one...." and "no one comes to the father except through Me...."
