빛을 전해주는 일은 빛을 향한 소원을 전제로 한다.

빛을 갈망하는 너희는 빛이 되야 한다. 그러므로 내 은혜의 태양이 또한 어두움 속으로 비추고, 깊은 곳으로 또한 빛의 광선을 비추어 끝없이 긴 기간 동안 이미 어두움 속에서 거하고 스스로 벗어날 수 없는 혼 안에 빛을 향한 갈망이 깨어나게 한다. 그러나 한 줄기 빛이 번쩍이면, 몇몇의 혼들에게 어두움을 탈출하려는 욕망이 활성화되고, 이런 혼들에게 기회가 제공될 것이다. 그들은 동시에 깊은 곳을 벗어나도록 유인을 받고, 서서히 자주 주저하면서 광선을 따르고, 그들은 빛이 풍성한 곳으로 인도받는다. 그러나 그들은 빛을 모든 밝기로 볼 수 없다. 왜냐면 그들이 영의 어두움 가운데 거하는 동안에는 그들이 빛을 견딜 수 없기 때문이다.

빛의 존재들이 그들을 따를 준비가 된 존재들을 끌어 올리기 위해 끊임없이 깊은 곳으로 내려간다. 이일은 폭력의 역사가 아니고, 어두움의 혼이 빛의 존재들을 따르도록 결정할 수 있게 하는 특별하게 보이는 과정도 아니고, 혼이 이 땅에서처럼 혼에게 주어진 선물을 자원하여 받아드려야만 한다. 나를 향한 혼의 저항이 줄어들면, 혼은 빛을 유익하게 느끼고, 비록 혼 자신이 속하게 되야 할 빛의 사자들을 혼이 자신과 같이 고난을 당하는 혼들로 여기지만, 혼이 자발적으로 빛의 사자를 따를 것이다. 이런 자원하는 자세가 혼이 빛의 광선을 받기 위한 조건이다. 내가 깊은 곳에 있는 모든 존재의 의지를 알고, 존재들에게 스스로 빛을 얻고, 그들의 운명을 개선시킬 기회를 제공하는 영역으로 그들을 끌어 올리기 위해, 그들에게 도움을 주기 원하는 혼들을 그들에게 끊임없이 보낸다.

(31. 7. 1952) 어느 정도 성숙해져 빛을 받을 수 있는 저세상의 나라의 모든 혼들은 구원하는 일을 수행한다. 아직 어두움 속에 거하는 혼들에게 빛을 전하기 원하는 모든 혼은 자신이 빛을 소유해야만 한다. 그러나 내 뜻대로 사는 삶을 통해 마찬가지로 빛을 받고 전할 수 있는 능력을 가진 사람들이 이 땅에서 또한 구원하는 일을 행할 수 있다. 아직 영이 어두운 가운데 사는 혼들을 진정한 이웃 사랑으로 도우면, 혼들이 구원하는 일을 하는 무리에 속하게 되고, 저세상의 나라의 혼들이 이런 혼들을 빛과 힘의 원천으로 깨닫고 그러므로 혼들은 둘러싼다. 왜냐면 사랑하는 생각이 저세상의 혼들에게 향하는 곳에서 혼들이 사랑하는 생각을 빛의 광선으로 깨달을 수 있기 때문이다.

그러나 사랑이 있는 곳에 어두운 영의 상태를 물리치는 지혜와 빛이 있다. 사랑이 있는 곳으로 빛을 원하는 혼들이 이끌려 가고, 사랑이 있는 곳에서 혼들은 항상 받을 수 있다. 빛을 향한 의지와 갈망이 그들 안에서 활성화되면, 그들은 이런 의지와 갈망을 절대로 줄이지 않는다. 그들은 그들에게 양식을 의미하는 것을 굶주림으로 받아, 이를 통해 힘을 얻고, 그들이 항상 점점 더 많은 것을 받아드릴 수 있게 되고, 마찬가지로 이제 나눠주거나 또는 어두운 혼들에게 빛이 비추는 곳을 알려주려는 의지로 충만하게 된다.

그러나 갈망이 없으면, 아무것도 줄 수 ​​없다. 존재들은 영의 나라뿐만 아니라 이 땅에서도 자유롭게 원해야 한다. 그들은 자유의지로 나에게 돌아와야만 한다. 그러나 그들에게 항상 사랑의 도움이 주어질 것이다. 왜냐면 빛은 발산하기를 원하고, 이전에 어두웠던 모든 것을 밝혀주기를 원하기 때문이다. 나는 내 빛을 자신 안에서 받기 위해 자원하여 자신을 여는 모든 존재들을 내 사랑의 빛으로 행복하게 해주기를 원한다.

Giving out the light presupposes desire for it....

Light shall become yours, you who desire the light. And therefore My Sun of Grace will also shine into the darkness, rays of light will also flash in the abyss so that the desire for light will be awakened in those souls which have been in darkness for an infinitely long time and cannot leave it on their own. But as soon as a ray of light flashes, the desire to escape the darkness is awakened in some souls, and these souls will also be offered the opportunity; they will be lured out of the abyss, as it were, and slowly and often hesitantly they will follow the ray, and they will be led to where light is abundant but not visible to them in all its brightness because they could not tolerate it as long as they are still dark in spirit.... Beings of light constantly descend to the abyss in order to fetch up those who are willing to follow them. It is not an act of force and also not a seemingly extraordinary process which could determine the souls of darkness to follow them but, as on earth, the soul has to be willing to accept a gift offered to it.... It will perceive the light as a blessing when its resistance against Me has subsided, and then it will also voluntarily follow the messengers of light, even if it only sees them as compassionate souls which it should join. And this willingness is the condition that it will be touched by a ray of light.... For the will of every being in the abyss is known to Me, and I constantly send souls willing to help them in order to lift them up into spheres where they are then offered the opportunity to acquire light for themselves and improve their fate.

(31.7.1952) All souls in the kingdom of the beyond which have reached a certain degree of maturity, which can receive light, carry out redeeming activity, for every soul has to possess light itself if it wants to pass it on to those who still dwell in darkness. But redemptive activity can also be carried out on earth by people who, through a way of life in accordance with My will, are likewise able to receive and pass on light. As soon as they take care of the souls in true neighbourly love which are still in spiritual darkness they will join the group of people who are active in redemption, and they, too, will be recognised by the souls in the kingdom of the beyond as a source of light and strength and will therefore always be surrounded by them, for where only a loving thought applies to the souls in the beyond it will be recognisable to them as a ray of light....

But where there is love there is also wisdom, light, which chases away the dark spiritual state. Where there is love, the souls who want light are drawn to it, and where there is love they will also always be allowed to receive it.... Once the will and the desire for light has become active in them they will never let up, they will hungrily accept what means nourishment for them, they will strengthen themselves with it so that they can always receive more and more and are likewise now inspired by the will to give away or to point souls of darkness to where light is radiated. Yet, nothing can be given without desire.... The beings should want it freely, on earth as well as in the spiritual kingdom.... they must return to Me of their own free will, yet they will always receive loving help, for the light wants to spread and illuminate everything that was dark before.... I want to bestow happiness with My light of love to all beings which willingly open themselves to receive My Light....
