사탄의 권세. 가장 깊은 어두움. 영원한 빛.

온 땅이 사탄의 종이 되었다. 그러므로 온 땅이 어두움으로 덮혀 있다. 왜냐면 사탄은 어두움의 권세자이고, 그의 끊임 없는 활동은 이 땅의 여기 저기에서 어두움이 물러나도록 위협하는 번쩍이는 빛의 끄는 일을 목표로 하기 때문이다. 빛은 그의 가장 큰 적이다. 왜냐면 그는 단지 어두움이 있는 곳에서 자신을 유지할 수 있고, 어두움이 있는 곳에서 그가 역사할 수 있고, 자신의 모든 권세와 교활함을 펼칠 수 있기 때문이다. 그의 나라는 이 땅이고, 그의 속박에서 해방되야 할 성숙하지 못한 영적인 존재가 거하는 세상이다.

이 나라에서 빛을 향한 접근을 거부하는 동안에는 그에게 제한이 없는 권력이 있다. 왜냐면 빛이 없으면 영적인 존재가 속박을 벗어날 길을 찾을 수 없기 때문이다. 그러므로 그는 빛의 확산을 막기 위해 노력할 것이다. 이는 다음과 같이 이해해야 한다: 그는 할 수 있는 곳이면, 어디에서나 진리를 감춘다. 왜냐면 진리는 하나님으로부터 나온 빛이기 때문이다. 그는 어두움의 권세자로서 영원한 빛인 하나님을 대적하여 싸우고 있고, 빛이 한번 비출 수 있는 곳에서 그의 통치가 끝이 난다. 그러므로 빛을 계속해서 어두움 속으로 전해야만 하고, 진리를 오류 가운데 전적으로 무지 속에 사는 존재들에게 전해야만 한다. 그러므로 그들이 어두움 속에 거하는 동안에는 그들은 사탄의 권세 아래 고통을 받아야만 한다.

진리는 실제 자신을 관철시킬 수 있다. 그러나 항상 단지 사람들이 자발적으로 하나님과 영원한 빛을 고백할 때 진리가 자신을 관철시킬 수 있다. 그러므로 이 일은 사람들 자신이 하나님의 빛의 전달자가 될 때 가능하다. 그러면 사탄은 모든 힘을 잃게 된다. 그러나 그는 자신의 권세를 가진 위치를 그렇게 쉽게 포기하지 않고, 마지막까지 빛에 대항해 싸울 것이고, 어디에서나 진리에 대항할 것이고, 그는 또한 자신들의 영이 아직 어둡고, 자원하여 사탄이 인도하도록 허용하는 사람들의 큰 지지를 받을 것이다. 이 사람들이 대다수이기 때문에 오류와 거짓에 대항하는 일은 쉽지 않다. 어두움은 너무 깊고, 이 땅의 어두움을 완전히 몰아내기에는 빛은 아직 너무 약하고, 대다수의 사람들이 사탄의 추종자들이다.

너희 사람들은 온 땅에서 사탄이 아직 권세를 가지고 있다는 것을 기억하라. 왜냐면 사람들 자신이 빛을 추구하지 않고 어두움 속을 편안하게 느끼기 때문이다. 그러면 사탄이 자신의 위치를 잘 활용하여 겉형체를 점점 더 굳어지게 한다는 것을 너희는 또한 이해하게 될 것이다. 왜냐면 사람들 자신이 그를 지원하고, 사람들 자신이 빛의 비추임으로부터 자신을 방어하기 때문이다. 그러므로 사탄의 노력은 가장 두터운 거짓과 오류로 진리에 대항하여 사람들이 하나님을 깨달을 수 없게 하고 하나님이 그의 추종자들을 잃게 하는 일이다.

빛과 어두움 사이에 싸움이 지속될 것이다. 빛을 요구하고 따라서 빛을 받는 사람들의 수는 항상 적은 수가 될 것이다. 반면에 군중들은 어두움을 선호하고, 그들의 저항을 받지 않고 아주 뻔뻔스럽게 진리가 아닌 것을 그들에게 제공할 수 있다. 왜냐면 사탄은 뒤에 군중들이 있기 때문이다. 반면에 단지 소수의 무리가 빛을 추구하고, 그들의 목표는 영원한 빛인 하나님 자신이다.

그러나 빛이 언젠가는 승리하는 권세로 나타날 것이다. 그러면 가장 깊은 어두움도 견딜 수 없게 되고, 영원한 빛 자신이 비추는 권세로 나타나, 그에게 저항하는 모든 것이 죽음을 맞이하게 된다. 그러면 진리가 아닌 것은 드러나고, 영원한 진리를 추구하지 않는 모든 것은 파괴를 당할 것이다. 사탄은 자신의 권력을 잃게 될 것이고, 그는 묶임을 받고, 그가 하나님의 뜻에 따라 조성된 순수한 환경에 독을 살포할 수 없게 될 것이고, 그가 새 땅의 인류를 위해 비추는 빛의 광도를 줄일 수 없게 될 것이다. 새 땅에서는 인류가 진리의 빛으로 행복을 느끼고, 어두움을 오랫동안 더 이상 두려워할 필요가 없게 된다.

Power of Satan.... Deepest darkness.... Eternal light....

Satan's bondage extends over the whole earth and therefore darkness is spread over the whole earth, for he is the prince of darkness and his uninterrupted activity is aimed at extinguishing the light which flashes here and there on earth and threatens to chase away the darkness. Light is his greatest enemy, because he can only stay where there is darkness, where he can work and unfold all his power and cunning. His kingdom is this earth, his kingdom is the world, which harbours the immature spiritual that is to be set free from his bondage. In this kingdom he has unlimited power as long as the light is denied access, for without light the spiritual will not find the path which leads out of bondage. That is why he will try to hinder the spreading of light, which is to be understood as follows: he undermines the truth wherever he can, for truth is light that has its origin in God. He therefore stands as the prince of darkness in the battle against God, Who is the Eternal Light. Where the light can shine once, his rule has come to an end, and therefore light has to be constantly brought into the darkness, the truth has to be brought to those beings who live in error, in complete ignorance and therefore also have to suffer under Satan's power as long as they are in darkness. The truth can indeed prevail, but only if people voluntarily profess God, the Eternal Light, and therefore become bearers of the light from God themselves. Then Satan has lost all power.... However, he will not give up his position of power so easily and he will fight against the light until the end.... He will take action against the truth everywhere and also find great support from people who are still spiritually dark and willingly allow themselves to be led by him. And since these people are in the majority, it is not easy to take action against error and lies. The darkness is too deep and the light still too weak to chase away the darkness on earth completely. It is the majority of people who are its followers.... Consider this, you humans, that he still has power on the whole earth because men themselves do not strive towards the light but feel well in darkness, then you will also understand that he makes good use of his position, that he lets the cover become thicker and thicker because people themselves support him, because they defend themselves against the radiation of light, which is therefore his endeavour to oppose truth with thickest lies and error so that God cannot be recognised and He loses His followers. It will remain a battle between light and darkness; the number of those who demand light and therefore also receive light will always be small, while the masses prefer darkness and can be offered the untruth no matter how blatantly without resisting it. For Satan has the masses behind him, whereas it is only a small flock which strives towards the light and whose goal is God Himself, the Eternal Light. Yet, one day the light shall break through with victorious power.... Then the deepest darkness will be unable to withstand, then the Eternal Light Itself will appear with such radiant power that everything will perish which opposes it.... Then untruth shall be uncovered and everything that does not strive for eternal truth will be exposed to destruction, but Satan shall lose his power, he will be bound so that he cannot poison the pure atmosphere which has now arisen through God's will.... so that he cannot diminish the light which now shines for humanity on the new earth, which will feel happy in the light of truth and need not fear the darkness for a long time....
