사랑이 없는 믿음은 죽은 믿음이다.

너희가 내 사랑의 계명을 성취시키면, 너희는 생명력이 있는 믿음에 이르게 될 것이다. 그러나 사랑이 없는 믿음은 죽은 믿음이다. 자신의 유익을 구하지 않는 사랑으로 행하는 일은 힘을 주고, 이 힘은 모든 일이 가능하다는 믿음으로 나타나고, 이로써 모든 일을 가능하게 만드는 일로 나타난다. 너희는 항상 사랑이 힘이라는 것을 항상 기억해야만 한다. 그러므로 사랑을 행하는 일은 항상 힘을 공급하는 결과를 가져온다. 너희는 사랑이 신적인 것임을 기억해야만 하고, 너희가 사랑을 행하면, 나 자신을 끌어드린다는 것을 기억해야만 한다.

내가 이제 너희에게 가까이 다가가면, 비록 너희가 인간으로써 이를 알지 못할지라도, 혼은 확실하게 알고, 이런 나의 임재가 혼에게 도움을 받는다는 안전한 느낌을 준다. 이런 안전한 느낌이 확신을 가진 즉 생명력이 있는 믿음이다. 너희는 사랑을 통해 나를 끌어드리고, 나 자신이 사랑이기 때문에 내가 너희를 위해 모든 일을 행하고, 너희가 강한 믿음으로 나에게 구하고 기대하는 모든 일을 너희에게 성취시켜주는 일은 이해할 수 있는 일이다. 그러므로 너희의 믿음이 다시 힘이다. 왜냐면 너희가 너희의 믿음으로 나에게 응답하기 때문이다. 이 믿음이 어떤 의미에서 너희가 기대하는 대로 내가 행하도록 강요한다. 왜냐면 내가 확고한 믿음이 모든 일을 성취시킬 것이라는 약속을 너희에게 해주었기 때문이다.

사랑을 행함으로 너희는 나와 나의 사랑을 얻는다. 사랑은 절대로 절망하지 않고, 너희가 진지하게 내 사랑의 깊이를 생각하면, 너희 안에 너희가 이런 사랑의 자녀라는 확신이 자라게 될 것이다. 그러면 너희의 믿음이 생명력이 있게 될 것이고, 너희는 산을 움직일 수 있게 될 것이다. 왜냐면 그러면 너희가 내 힘을 사용할 수 있기 때문이다. 내 힘은 너희가 원하는 모든 일을 행할 수 있게 한다. 그러나 너희가 사랑을 행하지 않으면, 너희는 절대로 생명력이 있게 믿을 수 없게 될 것이다. 사랑이 없는 믿음은 죽은 믿음이고, 힘이 없고, 생명이 없고, 개념이 없는 단지 말이다. 사랑이 유일하게 믿음을 생명력이 있게 한다. 왜냐면 나 자신이 사랑이고, 너희에게 임재하기 때문이다.

Faith without love is dead....

If you fulfil My commandments of love then you will also attain living faith, yet without love your faith is dead. Works which are done with unselfish love are strength-giving, and this strength expresses itself in a faith which believes everything to be possible and thereby also makes everything possible. You must always remember that love is strength, thus an activity in love always results in an influx of strength. You must remember that love is something divine, that you attract Me Myself if you are lovingly active.... If I am close to you then the soul knows this, even though you, as human beings, are not aware of it, and this presence of Mine also gives the soul the certain feeling of help.... and this certain feeling is faith, a faith which is convinced, thus it is alive. Through love you attract Me and, since I Myself am love, it is understandable that I do everything for you, that I grant you everything you request and expect from Me in strong faith. And thus your faith is strength again, for you oppose Me with your faith which, so to speak, forces Me to act as you expect, because I have promised you that a firm faith will achieve everything. Through loving activity you win Me and My love.... Love never fails itself, and if you seriously consider the depth of My love, the conviction will also grow in you that you are children of this love, and then your faith will also be alive and you will be able to move mountains, because then you will make use of My strength which enables you to do whatever you want. But you will never be able to believe alive if you are not active in love. Faith without love is dead, it is without strength, without life, it is only a word but no concept. Love alone enlivens it, because I Myself am love and thus present to you....
