의무의 단계 아래 있는 존재가 하는 일과 능력.

이 땅에서 가장 눈에 띄지 않는 피조물조차도 하나님의 사랑과 보살핌을 누린다. 왜냐면 그런 피조물이 하나님의 사랑의 힘에서 나왔고, 하나님과 영원히 분리될 수 없기 때문이다. 그러나 피조물은 또한 성취시켜야 할 존재 목적을 가지고 있다. 그러므로 사람이든 동물이든, 자유로운 상태이든, 의무의 상태이든 피조물에게 생명이 주어졌고, 모든 피조물이 수행해야만 하는 과제가 부여되었다. 피조물이 이제 이 과제를 수행하면, 피조물은 각각의 형체로부터 자유롭게 되고, 항상 이전의 형체와는 다른 더 높은 단계의 형체 안으로 육신을 입을 수 있다. 따라서 모든 생물은 항상 이전 활동과는 다른 활동을 수행해야 한다. 왜냐면 피조물이 실제 반복적으로 피조물에 성장 정도에 합당한, 셀 수 없이 많은 육신을 입는 일을 통해 다양한 능력을 얻기 위해 성장해야만 하기 때문이다.

인간으로 육신을 입기 전의 모든 피조물의 활동은 하나님의 뜻 아래 있다. 그러므로 어떤 의미에서 일정한 법칙에 따라 이뤄진다. 때문에 피조물은 항상 한 형체가 갖는 특성에 합당한 같은 능력을 가지고 있다. 그러므로 인간으로 육신을 입기 전에 무한히 많은 형체의 변화가 있었고, 각각의 형체의 과제는 서로 다르고, 모든 활동이 하나님의 뜻과 하나님의 능가할 수 없는 지혜와 하나님의 위대한 사랑에 합당했다. 모든 활동은 피조물이 성숙하게 되고, 확실하게 위로 성장하고, 마지막으로 인간으로 육신을 입게 하는 결과를 가져온다. 인간으로 존재하는 목적은 혼이 다시 위로 성장하는 일이다.

이런 마지막 성장 기간에 하나님의 사랑은 아주 특별하게, 이제 더 이상 의무의 법칙에 종속되어 있지 않고, 스스로 항상 혼의 높은 성장을 보장하는 활동을 수행해야만 하는 자신의 피조물을 돌본다. 그러나 사람으로써 행하는 모든 활동은 섬기는 사랑을 보여줘야만 한다. 그러면 활동이 하나님의 뜻과 일치하고, 또한 축복을 받게 될 것이고, 하나님의 사랑이 이제 또한 끊임없이 자신의 피조물에게 향한다. 하나님의 사랑은 특별하게 사람에게 섬길 수 있는 기회를 만들어 주는 일로 나타난다. 세상의 모든 일이 그런 기회이고, 사람이 그 일에 어떻게 참여하느냐에 따라, 그의 영적 성장이 달라지고, 항상 사람이 일을 하는 동안 사람 안에 가진 사랑의 정도에 따라 달라진다.

그러나 하나님의 뜻은 온전하든 온전하지 못하든 존재를 영의 나라로 옮기기 위해, 자신의 지혜로 정한 시간에 모든 혼의 이 땅의 과정을 끝낸다. 하나님의 사랑은 이제 또한 영의 나라에서 계속 존재를 돌본다. 그러면 존재는 이제 또한 온전하게 되기 위해, 마침내 이 땅과 영의 나라의 모든 존재의 유일한 목적인 하나님과의 연합을 이루는 목표를 성취하기 위해, 섬기는 사랑을 행해야만 한다.

Activity and ability of the being in the state of constraint....

Even the most inconspicuous creature on earth enjoys God's love and care, for it emerged from His power of love and is eternally inseparably united with Him. But it also has a purpose of existence to fulfil, and that is why it was given life, be it as a human being or an animal, in a free state or in a state of constraint. Every creature is assigned a task which it must fulfil. If it now fulfils this task, then it becomes free from the respective form and can re-embody itself in a higher form. Thus every creature has to carry out an activity which, however, always differs from the previous one, because different abilities have to be developed, which certainly repeat themselves in the course of infinitely many embodiments, but are always adapted to the being's degree of development. Before the embodiment as a human being the activity of those creatures is subject to God's will and therefore takes place in a certain regularity, which is why the same abilities are always characteristic of the creatures, which then mark the being in a form. And thus there are infinitely many forms before the embodiment as a human being, and in each one the being's task is different, and every activity corresponds to the divine will, His unsurpassed wisdom and His greater than great love.... It results in the maturing of the creatures, the safe ascent to the height, to the last embodiment as a human being, whose purpose of existence is again the upward development of the soul. And in this last period of development divine love takes special care of its living creations, which now have to carry out an activity of their own accord, no longer subject to the law of compulsion, but which is always intended to secure the soul's upward development. But every activity as a human being must prove serving love, then it corresponds to God's will and will also be blessed. Now God's love is also constantly turned towards His creatures. And it expresses itself especially in that it creates opportunities for the human being where he can carry out a serving activity. Every earthly work is such an opportunity, and the spiritual development of a human being is also according to how he views his work, always dependent on the degree of love which inspires the human being during his activity. But divine will ends the earthly life of every soul at a time determined by Him in His wisdom in order to then transfer the being, whether perfect or imperfect, into the spiritual kingdom, where it will continue to be cared for by His love and also now has to be active in serving love in order to become perfect and to finally find union with God as its aim, which is the only purpose of every being on earth and in the spiritual kingdom....
