비밀스러운 하나님의 계시.

비밀이 충만한 하나님의 계시는 하나님 자신이 분명하게 자신을 사람들에게 알려주는 데에 있다. 이런 사람들은 공식적인 종파를 대변하지 않고, 단지 그의 삶을 통해, 그리스도교의 일원이 되어, 그리스도가 이 땅에서 살 때, 사람들에게 가르친 것처럼 살고, 이로써 그리스도처럼 하나님의 영으로 충만한 사람들이다. 게다가 그들은 영의 역사를 믿어야만 하고, 사람들에게 알려주기 원하는 하나님의 영원한 사랑을 믿어야만 하고, 하나님과 깊은 교제가 가능한 것으로 여겨야만 하고, 사람이 원할 경우 하나님이 자신을 계시하는 것을 믿어야만 한다. 그러나 이런 믿음을 가진 사람이 적기 때문에, 비록 하나님의 계시가 깊은 믿음과 하나님과 깊은 연합으로 인한 자연적인 결과일지라도, 하나님의 계시는 사람들에게 어떤 비밀스러운 일로 머문다.

사람이 세상적으로 설명할 수 없는 모든 것은 사람에게 비밀스러운 것으로 남는다. 하나님의 계시는 영의 나라로부터 오고, 그러므로 단지 영적인 설명을 얻을 수 있다. 그러므로 사람 자신이 영의 역사가 이 계시를 통해 사람에게 설명해주는 한도 내에서 스스로 하나님의 계시가 진리임을 확정할 수 있기 위해 세상의 삶을 살면서 동시에 영의 삶을 살아야만 한다. 만약에 그가 자신에 대한 작업을 한다면, 다시 말해 하나님의 뜻을 나타내 준 하나님의 계시를 따르는 삶을 산다면, 그 자신은 직접 하나님의 계시를 받을 만한 사람들에게 속한다. 그 자신에게는 이 지식은 더 이상 비밀이 아니고, 단지 하나님의 음성을 들을 수 있을 정도로 하나님과 깊이 연합되었다는 것을 아는 행복하게 해주는 지식이다.

하나님이 이제 자신의 계시를 통해 진리에 합당한 지식을 사람들에게 전하기 원하면, 중계자가 필요하다. 중계자는 하나님과 긴밀하게 연합이 되어 하나님의 말씀을 영접할 능력이 있고, 하나님의 말씀을 세상에 전하기 원하는 사람이다. 그러므로 하나님은 이 땅에서 자신의 종을 택하고, 그들을 자신의 사도로 만들고, 그들에게 자신의 말씀을 가르쳐, 이 땅에서 진리의 전달자로 양성한다. 그의 가르치는 방식이 비밀스러운 것은 단지 믿지 않는 사람들과 지식이 없는 사람들에게 해당된다. 왜냐면 이런 사람들은 하나님을 인정하지 않고 하나님의 역사를 깨닫기를 원하지 않기 때문이다. 하나님을 믿고 그의 사랑과 권능을 믿는 사람에게 특별하게 보이는 어떤 일도 불가능한 일이 없고 근거가 없는 일이 없다. 이런 믿음이 그가 하나님의 말씀을 받을 수 있게 한다.

그러므로 그는 하나님 자신으로부터 가르침을 받고 이로써 하나님의 지혜를 받는다. 하나님 자신이 자신의 영을 통해 그에게 계시한다. 이런 일은 권세 있는 일고, 영광스러운 일로써, 한 존재의 아주 큰 사랑을 나타내고, 최고로 온전한 분이 온전하지 못하게 된 피조물과 대화하면서, 그들에게 낮아져 임한다. 이런 일은 자신을 최고로 온전한 분의 아들로 느끼고, 아버지 사랑 안에서 설명을 받은 사람에게는 넘치게 행복한 일이고, 하나님의 사랑의 능력을 모르는, 그럴지라도 이 계시를 거절할 수 없는 사람에게 이 일은 비밀이 가득한 일이다.

이런 계시를 받도록 부름 받은 사람은 이 땅에서 사명을 완수해야 하는 선택받은 사람들에 속한다. 이런 사람들은 깨달음이 있기 때문에, 자원하여 하나님을 섬기는 종이 된다. 그들은 자신을 하나님이 인도하게 하고, 하나님께 어떤 저항도 하지 않는다. 그들은 자신의 의지를 하나님 아래 두고, 단지 하나님 자신이 자기를 통해 사람들에게 말하는 수단이 된다. 왜냐면 사람들이 긴급하게 하나님의 말씀이 필요하기 때문이다. 하나님은 항상 위험한 때에 사람들에게 자신을 계시한다. 이 계시를 항상 영의 역사로 깨달아야만 한다. 영은 단지 믿음이 깊고, 사람의 삶이 하나님의 계명에 합당하고, 그리스도의 가르침을 지키고, 이를 통해 하나님과 깊은 연합되어 있고, 하나님의 능력으로 충만하게 되어, 하나님 자신이 그 안에서 역사하는 사람에게 역사할 수 있다.

The mysteriousness of divine revelations....

The mystery of divine revelation consists of God manifestly revealing Himself to people who do not represent an official school of thought but only prove to be followers of Christ's church through their way of life.... who thus live as Christ taught people on earth and are thereby filled by God's spirit like Him. In addition, they must believe in the working of the spirit, in God's eternal love which wants to make itself known to people. They have to believe that intimate contact with God is possible, they have to believe that God expresses Himself as soon as He is approached for it, and since this faith is only rarely found divine revelations always remain something mysterious for people, even though they are only a natural consequence of profound faith and intimate contact with God. Everything that cannot be explained earthly remains mysterious to man. A divine revelation comes from the spiritual realm and will therefore only be explained spiritually. For this reason, however, the human being must lead a spiritual life alongside his earthly life in order to be able to ascertain the truth of divine revelations for himself, insofar as the working of the spirit is explained to him through them. And if he then seriously works on himself, i.e. leads his way of life in accordance with the divine revelations which express God's will, he himself will belong to those who are appreciated of the direct divine revelation. For him it is then no longer a mystery but only a joyful knowledge to be so intimately connected with God that he can hear His voice. The fact that God wants to present knowledge to people through His revelations which corresponds to the truth requires a mediator, a person who is able to receive the word of God in intimate contact and is willing to pass it on to the world. And thus He chooses His servants on earth. He makes them His apostles to whom He teaches His word again and trains them to be bearers of truth on earth. And the nature of His teaching is mysterious, however, only for the unbeliever and ignorant because he does not acknowledge God and therefore does not want to recognize His working either. But whoever believes in God, in His love and omnipotence, nothing is impossible and unfounded for him that seems extraordinary. And this faith also enables him to receive the divine word.... Thus he allows himself to be taught by God Himself.... and thus receives divine wisdom.... God reveals Himself to him through His spirit. This is something so powerful, so sublime, it testifies to the immense love of a being Who, in His highest perfection, condescends to His imperfect creatures by speaking to them.... This is an extremely gratifying process for the human being who feels like His child and who finds the explanation in the father's love, and a mysterious process for the one who does not know the strength of divine love but cannot reject the revelations. Whoever is therefore called to receive them belongs to the chosen ones who have a mission to fulfil on earth. And since they are in knowledge they are God's willing servants, they let themselves be guided by Him and offer Him no resistance, they have subordinated their will to God and are merely the organ through which God Himself speaks to people because they urgently need His word. God always reveals Himself to people in times of adversity, and this must always be recognized as the working of the spirit which can only unfold where faith is profound and a person's way of life corresponds to the divine commandments.... where Christ's teaching is followed and the human being is thereby in intimate union with God, Who then fills him with His strength and Himself is now working in him....
