변개된 가르침. 영적인 침체.

사람들이 하나님으로부터 점점 더 멀어지는 이유는 그들 대부분이 더 이상 올바르게 교육받지 못한다는 데 있다. 다시 말해 진리대로 가르침을 받지 못했기 때문이다. 왜냐면 단지 진리만이 하나님께 인도하고, 모든 오류는 하나님과의 거리를 증가시키기 때문이다. 인류는 이미 오류에 너무 깊이 빠져있다. 그러므로 영적 침체가 심하게 진행되어, 현재에 사람들이 노출된 상태가 되었다. 이런 영적 침체에는 인류가 볼 수 있는 것보다 더 깊은 이유가 있다. 이런 일은 전에 없던 오류가 원인이 되어 일어난 일이다. 이로써 사람들이 믿음에서 돌아서고, 그들이 영적인 추구를 중단하게 되었다. 왜냐면 그들에게 믿도록 요구받는 것을 그들이 믿기를 원하지 않았고, 믿을 수 없었기 때문이다.

비록 하나님의 지혜는 그들의 삶의 방식을 통해 하나님의 지혜를 받아드릴 수 있게 만든 사람들이 단지 이해할 수 있지만, 그러나 모든 자원하는 사람은, 비록 그가 아직 완전하게 이해할 수는 없지만, 하나님의 말씀에서 나오는 특정한 힘을 느낀다. 그러나 하나님의 가르침이 변개되었다면, 즉 진리에 합당하지 않은 어떤 것을 하나님의 말씀으로, 진리로 사람들에게 제공한다면, 심장으로 올바르게 생각하는 사람은 그에 대한 혐오감을 느끼고 거부하거나 또는 영접을 하고, 자신의 모든 생각으로 독을 받아드린다. 왜냐면 그에게 제공된 것이 진리가 아니기 때문이다.

하나님이 기원이 아닌 가르침은 절대로 영적인 성공을 할 수 없다. 이런 가르침을 실제 따를 수는 있다. 그러나 이런 가르침을 따르는 일을 영적인 추구라고 할 수 없다. 왜냐면 추구하는 일이 하나님과의 긴밀한 연결을 이루지 않고, 기계적으로 수행되기 때문이다. 그런 가르침은 하나님과 긴밀한 연합하게 하는 것이 아니라, 하나님으로부터 더 멀어지게 한다. 그러나 이런 가르침이 아주 널리 퍼져 있다면, 일반적인 영적 침체가 일어나는 일은 이해할 수 있는 일이다. 왜냐면 순수한 진리는 사람을 깨우치고, 영적인 추구를 하도록 자극하는 반면, 순수한 진리에서 벗어나는 모든 것은 영적인 추구를 억제하기 때문이다.

순수한 진리처럼 보이는 말들을 실제 사용할 수 있다. 그러나 이런 말들은, 하나님의 말씀이 그 안에 가진 힘을 절대로 가질 수 없고, 혼이 성숙해지고, 빛으로 가득 찬 상태가 되게 하는, 다시 말해 아는 상태가 되게 하는 효력도 나타나지 않는다. 그런 말들은 단지 힘과 효력이 없는 말로만 남을 것이다. 순수한 진리가 이런 잘못된 가르침을 물리칠 때까지, 혼은 일정한 정지 상태에 머물게 될 것이다. 인류가 순수한 진리를 깨닫고, 하나님의 지혜를 받기 위해, 하나님과의 연결을 이룰 때, 인류는 비로소 하나님과의 거리를 좁히게 될 것이다. 그러면 인류는 비로소 잘못된 가르침을 버리게 될 것이다. 왜냐면 인류가 하나님의 말씀의 힘을 느끼고, 이제 확신을 가지고 믿을 수 있기 때문이다.

Distorted doctrine.... spiritual flattening....

The fact that people are moving further and further away from God is largely due to the fact that they are no longer being instructed correctly, i.e. in the truth. For only the truth leads to God, but every error increases the distance from Him. And mankind is already too far entangled in error, and that is why the spiritual flattening has also progressed so far that it brings about such conditions to which people are now exposed. This spiritual flattening has a deeper reason than humanity realizes.... An unprecedented error has caused people to turn away from faith, to slacken in their spiritual endeavours because they did not want to and could not believe what they were asked to believe. The divine wisdoms are probably only comprehensible to those who have made themselves receptive to them through their way of life, yet every willing person feels a certain strength emanating from the divine word, even if he is not yet able to fully understand it. However, if the divine teaching is distorted, i.e., if people are offered something as God's word, as truth, which no longer corresponds to the truth, then the person who thinks rightly in his heart will feel repelled by it and reject it.... or he will accept it and poison his entire thinking because what he is offered is untruth. And a teaching that is not of divine origin can never bring spiritual success.... it can certainly be followed, but this following cannot be called spiritual endeavour, for something is carried out more mechanically without establishing an intimate connection with God. And such a teaching results in distance from God rather than intimate union. However, if this teaching is very widespread, then a general spiritual flattening is also understandable, for the pure truth enlightens people and stimulates them to spiritual endeavour, whereas everything that deviates from the pure truth suppresses spiritual endeavour. words can certainly be used which echo the pure truth but they will never have the power which the divine word carries within itself, nor will they have the effect of.... the maturing of the soul and thus a light-filled, i.e. knowing state.... They will only remain words without power and effect, the souls will remain in a certain standstill until the pure truth displaces this erroneous teaching. Only then will humanity reduce its distance from God when it recognizes the pure truth and establishes the bond with God in order to receive divine wisdom.... Only then will it abandon the erroneous teaching because it feels the power of the divine word and can now also believe with conviction....
