믿음을 키우기 위한 시련.

끝없는 혼란의 시대가 시작되었고, 이런 시대를 영적으로나 세상적으로도 분명히 알아볼 수 있다. 사람들이 세상에서 시작하는 일은 적은 성공을 하게 될 것이고, 이런 실패가 사람들을 낙담시킬 것이다. 그러나 영적인 추구도 방해를 받을 것이고, 이런 방해가 역시 믿음을 위태롭게 할 것이다. 다시 말해 믿음이 약한 사람들은 그들이 추구하는 일을 멈추고, 낙담하게 될 것이다. 그러나 이런 일은 하나님이 허락하신 일이다. 왜냐면 바로 영적인 추구를 하는 사람들이 전적인 힘이 요구되는 싸움을 향해 가고 있고, 그러므로 그들이 강해져야만 하고, 강해지는 일은 단지 모든 종류의 시험을 통해서만 강해질 수 있기 때문이다.

사람들에게 강한 믿음이 필요하게 될 것이고, 믿는 사람들을 대항하여 모든 수단을 동원하여 싸울 것이다. 그러므로 견딜 수 있기 위해 저항할 힘이 커야만 하고, 믿음이 깊어 야만 한다. 그러므로 바로 이런 혼란의 시기를 축복이라고 할 수 있다. 왜냐면 혼란 기간이 사람들에게 분명한 결정을 하도록 촉구하기 위한 것이기 때문이다. 그러나 그들이 하나님 앞에 어떤 상태인지에 대해 의견이 일치하지 않는다. 그들은 이런 질문을 중요하게 여기지 않거나, 대답하지 않은 상태로 놔둔다. 왜냐면 그들이 이런 질문을 중요한 것으로 여기지 않기 때문이다. 그러나 이제 바로 이런 질문이 그들에게 아주 자주 다가와서, 그들이 이런 질문을 심각하게 다뤄야만 하게 될 것이다. 대답은 전적으로 다가오는 시간이 사람들에게 미치는 영향에 달려 있게 될 것이다.

다가오는 일에 심각한 영향을 받는 사람들은 더 쉽게 하나님의 개념을 명확하게 할 수 있고, 그들은 또한 하나님의 개념을 굳게 받아드리고, 버리지 않을 것이다. 그러나 마찬가지로 사람들이 심각한 운명적인 일로 인해 창조주 하나님을 부정하기를 원하게 될 수 있다. 그러나 사람은 항상 생각하도록 만들어질 것이고, 따라서 결정은 강제된 것이 아니라, 사람이 자유롭게 스스로 생각하고, 자신의 판단을 할 것이다. 그는 이제 자신과 하나님과의 실제적인 관계에 대해 정리하게 되고, 따라서 이를 자유로운 결정이라고 할 수 있다. 이런 일은 다가오는 때에 성취될 것이다. 따라서 다가오는 때가 그들의 하나님을 더 이상 존중하지 않는 인류를 위해 필요하다.

Trials to strengthen faith....

A time of endless confusion has dawned, which is clearly recognizable spiritually and earthly. What people start earthly will bring little success and this will discourage people. However, spiritual endeavours will also be hindered and this will also endanger faith, i.e. those who are weak in faith will stop in their endeavours and likewise become discouraged. And yet this is permitted by God because precisely those who strive spiritually are facing a battle which requires full strength and they therefore have to become strong and this can only be achieved through temptations of all kinds. A strong faith will be demanded of people, the believers will be fought against with all means, and thus the strength of resistance must be great and the human being must be deeply rooted in faith in order to be able to stand firm. And therefore this time of turmoil can also be called a blessing, for it is meant to urge people to make a clear decision.... They are not yet in agreement about how they feel about God, they have not yet seriously considered these questions or left them unanswered because they do not recognize them as important. But now this very question will come to them so often that they will have to give it serious consideration. And the answer will depend entirely on how the coming time affects people. The concept of God can be clarified more easily for those who are severely affected by it, and they will then also join Him firmly and irrevocably. Equally, however, people can also want to deny a divine creator due to the severity of fate. But the human being is always prompted to reflect and the decision is therefore not a forced one but a free one insofar as the human being thinks for himself and makes his judgement, and he now gives an account of his actual relationship with God and can therefore be said to have made a free decision. This will be brought about by the coming time, which is therefore also necessary for humanity, which no longer respects its God....
