영의 역사. 은혜의 선물.

모든 사람이 영의 선물을 받을 수 있다. 그러다 단지 소수의 사람들이 이런 귀중한 은혜의 선물을 하나님께 구한다. 사람들은 자신들이 놓치고 있는 가장 귀한 선물이 무엇인지, 얼마나 더 부유하게 될 수 있는 지 모른다. 하나님의 영이 그들에게 준 것은 다른 무엇으로도 대체할 수 없기 때문이다. 하나님의 영은 사람들에게 선명한 지식을 주고, 사람들에게 하나님의 진리에 대한 지식을 주고, 사람들이 세상과의 유대관계가 끝나게 하는 대신에 빛이 충만한 영의 존재들과 연결되도록 도와 주어, 이런 영의 존재들과 끊임 없이 생각을 교환할 수 있게 한다. 영의 존재는 사람들을 항상 하나님께 인도하고, 그들의 생각을 정리해줘, 그들이 올바른 생각해야만 하게 한다. 다시 말해 그들이 영적인 질문을 하거나 하나님의 역사와 사역을 헤라려보려고 할 때, 옳바르고 진실되게 생각해야만 하게 한다.

사람들이 하나님의 영의 역사를 갈망할 때, 사람들은 항상 하나님과 연결이 된다. 그러므로 하나님이 사람들에게 자신의 영을 부어 줄 때, 능력이 항상 사람들에게 흐른다. 그러면 그들은 즉시 하나님의 발산된 힘을 받고, 모든 저항을 중단하고, 자신을 연다. 다시 말해 힘이 그들의 심장 안으로 흐르게 한다. 이런 역사의 효과는 지식이다. 왜냐면 하나님이 주는 모든 힘이 이 땅의 삶의 밖에 있는 것에 대한 지식을 증가시키기 때문이다. 이런 영적 지식은 혼의 재산이고, 혼이 저세상에서 과제를 완수하기 원할 때, 혼이 언젠가 사용하게 될 보물이다. 영적인 부는 이 땅에서 추구할 가치가 있는 유일한 것이고, 혼은 헤아릴 수 없게 영적인 재물을 받을 수 있다.

하나님 자신이 인간에게 자신의 영을 약속했다. 그러므로 아무도 헛되게 하나님의 영을 구하게 되지 않을 것이다. 그러나 이런 귀중한 선물에 대한 욕망이 없는 곳에서 하나님의 영은 절대로 역사할 수 없다. 하나님이 사람들에게 제공하는 것은 간절하게 요청해야 하고, 감사로 받아야 한다. 어느 누구도 제외가 되지 않지만, 그러나 진심 어린 갈망이 없는 사람에게는 주어지지 않는다. 하나님의 은혜의 선물을 긴밀하게 갈망하지 않는 어떤 사람도 이런 선물을 받을 수 없다. 왜냐하면 영이 역사하기 위해 내면에 주의를 기울이는 경청이 필요하기 때문이다. 사람은 자신의 가장 세심한 충동에 주의를 기울여야만 한다. 다시 말해 하나님이 주는 선물을 의식적으로 받으려는 자세를 스스로 가져야만 한다.

하나님의 영이 심장에 있는 영의 불씨에 접근할 수 있게 해줘야만 한다. 또는 하나님의 불씨 자신에게 하나님의 영과 연결할 자유를 줘야만 한다. 빛과 힘을 받는 존재들과 접촉이 이루어져야만 한다. 이로써 빛과 힘이 흘러갈 수 있게 된다. 하나님의 은혜의 선물은 사람 안의 영의 역사에 대한 깊은 믿음을 요구하고, 사랑의 행하는 일과 하늘과 땅의 가장 위대한 영을 향한 긴밀한 헌신을 요구한다. 왜냐면 그러면 하나님의 은혜의 선물이 더 이상 저항을 받지 않기 때문에 하나님의 힘이 흘러갈 수 있기 때문이다. 하나님에게서 나온 피조물이 하나님과의 오랜 분리된 상태를 끝내고, 최종적으로 하나님과 재결하는 일이 하나님의 영의 역사의 증거이기 때문이다.

Work of the spirit.... gift of grace....

Everyone is allowed to receive the gifts of the spirit, and yet so few people make use of God's offer of this delicious gift of grace. They do not realize what a valuable gift they are missing out on and how much richer they could be. For nothing can replace what the spirit from God offers them.... He gives people clear realization, he introduces them to the knowledge of divine truth, he helps them to loosen their bond with the world and instead establish a connection with the spiritual beings full of light in order to be able to have a constant exchange of thoughts with them. He always directs and guides them towards God and organizes their mental activity so that they have to think correctly and thus think rightly and truly as soon as they ask spiritual questions or try to fathom divine reign and activity. People are always in union with God if they desire the working of His spirit. Power will therefore always flow to them when God pours out His spirit upon people. They then immediately receive the emanation of strength from God, they switch off all resistance and open themselves, i.e. their hearts allow the strength to flow into them.... The effect of this, however, is knowledge.... For any supply of power from God means increased knowledge of things that lie outside of earthly life.... And this spiritual knowledge is the soul's wealth, it is the treasure which the soul will utilize one day if it wants to fulfil its task in the beyond. Spiritual wealth is the only desirable thing on earth, and spiritual wealth can be received by the soul unmeasured.... God Himself has promised people His spirit and therefore no-one will desire it in vain. However, the spirit of God can never become effective where there is no desire for this precious gift. What God offers people should be asked for longingly and received gratefully.... It is not withheld from anyone, but neither is it given to anyone without a heartfelt desire. No human being can be given the divine gift of grace who would not respect this gift, for the working of the spirit requires attentive listening within, the human being must pay attention to the subtlest impulses within himself and thus adjust himself to consciously receive a gift which is of divine origin.... The spirit from God must be granted access to the spiritual spark in the heart, or the divine spark within must be given the freedom to connect with the spirit from God.... Contact must be established with the beings who are light and recipients of strength, so that light and strength can now overflow.... The divine gift of grace requires profound faith in the working of the spirit in the human being, it requires loving activity and heartfelt devotion to the greatest spirit of heaven and earth so that His strength can overflow because it will no longer find any resistance, for the working of the divine spirit is the sign that the creature having emerged from God has finally united with Him again after a long separation from Him....
